If Kaitlin was so willing to leave her boyfriend and life behind all her worldly possessions, and live a new life in another country, why not just do that? Why only do this utterly life-changing event after murdering someone?! Why was murder necessary?! These people just baffle me.
LotL - Exactly.... it's as if she had no end game when planning to kill Mo.... although my hunch is she thought that she could kill Mo without being discovered as the killer and lived happily ever after with Colin. She only fled after the police made it clear she was their #1 suspect and the walls were closing in.
You know what's crazy? She could have done that before - She could've moved to Costa Rica, taught yoga, partied every night, forget about everything - BEFORE killing Moriah.... She ccould have lived in paradise, started a new life. That's why I'm saying, if you're not happy with your life, pretend you're running from the police ~ (Keyword: pretend)
She's saying the girl could have left the country before she murdered Moriah and lived her life. The quote is saying run like the police are after you if you are not happy with how your life is going. For example, abuse or something, or in this case, you need to murder someone for some reason.
For anyone curious: the trial happened. In November the jury took 2 hours to find her guilty. Sentenced to 90 years in prison with the possibility of parole after 30.
I'm not blaming Colin here, but the fact that he knew Kaitlin had been stalking and harassing Moriah and just decided to buy Kaitlin a gun is... A choice, to say the least.
SPOT ON!!! 👿💔 Strawman purchase for his jealous gf?! My (a woman's perspective): an absolutely unhinged 'dumb jock' cretin. She could/should have bought the weapon by the book even if he gave her cadh for it. His on and off girlfriend didn't respect him enough not to "plow her way through" rebound men while living together and consider his feelings, but came unhinged when he was briefly dated a fellow cyclist?! 🤦♀️🤬 The victim asked him for an intervention although it was within her rights to report it to the police as a courtesy, FFS. 😢 Absolutely appaling crap judgement on his part. Of course he'll plead total innocence! Jackalope. I'm pro 2nd amendment, but his actions are inexcusable. I hope that this haunts him for the rest of his life.

For me, I don't see Kaitlin is only jealous for love. She's insanely envied with Moriah's success as a victorious young professional cyclist, with her age and youth appearance. She was literally hated to see what Moriah had in her life. Rest in peace girl...
Undoubtedly. I imagine she was really threatened by Moriah’s dynamism, especially since she was so successful in the area her ‘love’ was most interested in. Thank goodness for being an underachiever!
Exactly. If Colin had been a faithful man instead of screwing around...it wouldn't have happened. Not condoning Moriah's part in that affair, so don't come for me, but far too often the women get blamed instead of the guy who decided to forget his commitments.
Same with those crazy dudes at clubs who throw themselves in jail for a couple weeks fighting another dude. If your partners is cheating let the new person have those problems, they’re not worth it.
@@ThatMontanaMom if someone’s willing to kill over being cheated on they’re probably fucked in the head and were a completely horrible partner. Psychotic people aren’t very good at the relationship thing.
Same! The other person didn't make a promise to be faithful, the person in the relationship did. The cheater is the one who wronged their partner, not the random person they cheated with. Be mad at the right person!
Right? This woman is continuously threatening, harassing, and stalking a lady, and you didn’t think she could escalate her crimes? Be so fucking for real right now.
Those with certain personality disorders can be very skilled at hiding their true thoughts. They keep their mask on for whoever they are trying to manipulate. He likely believed her fake personality.

@@Reinspace to be fair these situations are not completely unheard of, my best friend is a single mother of 2 and she let her boyfriend of 3 years move in with her and she let him put his name on the lease. Well 2 years later they have been broken up for most of that time and he refuse to leave. She can’t kick him out legally so she is kinda stuck, especially since she lives in an apartment that was provided for her by the state (its a really nice place too so I get why she doesn’t want/ can’t really leave, 2 balconies 3 bedrooms. Not easy to find something like that in my town) So yeah she has been stuck living with her ex for 2 years. It’s crazy but unavoidable in her situation.
I came back and watched this again after seeing the news that a verdict has been reached, and the perpetrator was sentenced to 90 years in prison with a possibility of parole after 30 years. This time the justice system came through. May Moriah's soul finally rest in peace.
It’s emotionally immature women like this chick that make the rest of us look bad. She took a very vibrant life over a man? WHAT! I can’t even wrap my head around that. No man is worth my life in a prison, none. My sincere condolences to Mo’s family and friends. ❤️🌻🦋 And I hope this pathetic excuse for a woman gets life without parole.
Happens frequently, hard to understand. I guess wanting to cause multiple hurts. People like Caitlyn may have murdered under other circumstances, also. I could not hit a target if I picked up a gun. I always wonder if these people that murder with a gun, have practiced. Some people have a background in hunting, etc. Sad

THat was a text telling her ok I've dropped her off do as we planned Her knew she was nuts and crazy in love with him and would do anything for him. He was in a love triangle p.aying both women.

@@Kitty-Cat Somehow she forgot to get rid of the most damning piece of evidence, which was her ID. Had she done that, she likely would have gotten away with it, as although she may have gotten in hot water over being in Costa Rica illegally, and without documentation, there would have been no means to prove who she was originally.
I honestly wonder who was checking passports and ID at the airport, because Adrian said that she stole her sisters passport…Especially in NY. I thought airport security was stepped up after 9/11
She’ll have many lonely years and deep regrets destroying her life and taking another woman’s life over a man, it’s never that serious ladies, that guy moved on to another woman.
He was dating her. She must've found out he was cheating, and like the psycho idiot she was, she got mad at the other woman instead of the man cheating on her
I thought he said they had a on again off again relationship? Cause if that’s the case it’s not cheating. They already broke up and she was just a jealous woman who can’t handle rejection.
The animal in her came out by doing that. Or she saw this guy as probably her last realistic chance to get children and became crazy after the idea of someoen taking him away?? She was 35.. not so long ago she would almost be a grandmother at that age, also in US, and now she wasn't even a mother.. crazy
Tbh, you can get away whit it. Things arent really that perfect. The ones that go are usually at remote locations though and they even look like accidents. Like, imagine someone push another off a cliff on a hike trip. What clue is there? Slipped and died is totally possible.
In America most murders go unpunished, even when you exclude the ones the US police commit every eight hours on average. There's no lock that cannot soon be bypassed or picked, and the same is true of surveillance; there's always a way to avoid being caught. We only hear about people getting caught because otherwise there's usually no story. If this particular person wanted to avoid capture she did it all wrong.
If you're a woman, you are probably 10 times more likely to get away with a crime, including murder. Even if you're caught, you won't get as bad of a punishment.
The bizarre thing to me is that Colin hooked up briefly with Moriah while he and Kaitlin were broken up (reminds me of Ross and Rachel on Friends). Meanwhile she was bedding numerous men during this time. Then she’s enraged and jealous about his brief fling (that apparently meant more to Moriah than him) with Moriah! She must have felt incredibly threatened by Moriah to have reacted so badly to a fairly normal situation. Moriah clearly had more strength and character than Kaitlin; maybe that reality threw K into a murderous rage. Colin’s no prize by any means, but anyone can be seen as property by another. It’s pretty creepy that she had very assertive, maybe aggressive?, sex with him right after getting back from Moriah’s location (allegedly). Moriah deserved better than either of them. It’s tragic that these relationships cost her her life. Condolences to her family and many friends.
I think-not that she would ever admit to this-that those men she slept with were nothing to her; Moriah was a very accomplished, attractive woman, in the same circle as her and Collin…and then he kept seeing her on the down low, platonic or not. In other words, those men were disposable; Moriah was a threat. I guess. This whole thing is such a mess. Two talented, gifted women are destroyed over some trifling man who is playing both sides.

@@adamfarkas51 I don’t blame him for the murder. I think he’s trifling, but trifling isn’t against the law. It’s never a good idea to play head games with an unstable person, or anybody else, for that matter. But “blame the man”? No. Calm down.
I can never understand why murder somebody instead of leaving a cheating partner. Not only is it the worst thing to do to someone, but you ruin your own life as well. Cheating (not sure if they were really cheating or what but the idea remains) is ofc bad but you don't murder someone because of it, you leave the relationship. I'm glad she was found relatively quickly. I hope Moriah will get justice.
Because some people are homicidal sociopaths /sykos . Where you & I I would walk away resentful from a cheating partner, but for them, they will deal with it differently.
Usually these cases happen when someone well...become obsessed They feel "he" or "she" is the trophy and they feel an obsessive compulsion to kill their "competition". The unfortunate reality is, it doesn't really matter in these cases. It's likely, had he left her entirely, she would have either killed him or her (or both) later. She certainly had the means and the temperament and it's commonplace to see a partner who domestically abuses (physically or emotionally) not take the news well if their victim decides to leave them.
Based on the dude's quote about her suddenly becoming more forceful, and just being jealous about him dating the victim despite having already split, it was all about power. To her, having her man all to herself matters more than breaking up with him and hooking up with someone else, since that would mean admitting defeat. Just because we're living in a period of peace, doesn't mean the mindset of being a conqueror doesn't exist anymore. If anything, it's more prevalent now since women are encouraged to be more open and their repressed feelings are finally being put to show, but there isn't a lot of things that can hold them back because they're still seen as delicate creatures regardless when it comes to being reprimanded. The concept of her wanting to feel ownership of someone else is hard for you to understand because it's typically seen as a male-only aspect. She probably thought the bf was gonna take all the heat. Not everyone is a true crime aficionado, so it hadn't crossed her mind that the law isn't as biased as the public.
He doesn't want to face the fact that he bears the blame because he was the one being sly about still seeing Moriah. Not to mention buying the gun for Armstrong.
Love is blind; so many parents, kids and partners just refuse to believe their loved one could act another way, than what theyve seen. Some even provide false evidence & alibis, fully knowing whats at stake. Its about self-image and self-preservation, I cant have been loving a monster all this time, so she/he must not have been a monster then and everybody else is wrong. Mental gymnastics on steroids. Especially if you are to bear some blame if accepting the truth, its just easier to block it all out. Fragile egos..
I'm not going to lie, in my youth I've been crazy jealous a couple times but it never EVER crossed my mind to hurt anyone, let alone kill???!!! That is just insane.
It’s unbelievable just how many seemingly “normal” people turn to murder. It’s hard to imagine the level of jealousy & hatred it would take to do that .. I can’t even try to understand how she or anyone can’t talk themselves out of killing someone! Would love to hear a psychologist’s analysis.

When someone purchases a gun knowing it's for someone else, it's called a 'strawman buy'. This means that yes, if the police wish to pursue charges against Strickland, they can because he bought the gun for Kaitlin.
That's an example of a strawman buy. If the kid does something they're not supposed to w/ the gun their parents bought them, then the parents can be charged. Doesn't matter if it's a hunting riffle or a handgun

Her trial started today. The article I read said that earlier this month (on 10/12/2023) Kaitlin escaped from officers who had taken her to a medical appointment. She was recaptured after a short chase.
I can’t imagine getting the call that my child is dead because of a love triangle. Her poor family, this girl deserved so much more than this, 25 years old you still have a whole life ahead of you. My condolences to those who are suffering due to this loss.
She used her sister's passport, whom she looked very similar to. Just incredible. She did everything that a guilty person would do (running to another country, plastic surgery, seen outside where her victim was staying, and her bullets were found to have killed the victim, etc.). Kaitlin has a lot of guts to plead not guilty and try to throw this on her ex-boyfriend, Colin. He is now supposedly hiding and afraid of Kaitlin. A lot of guts, IMHO...
@@gorelash9056 - so i guess you're against giving anyone in the military a gun since they are all capable of violence and in fact are told to travel to foreign nations to kill people. Yet, for some strange reason, you have no problem with them having a gun.

Ask yourself this question- Is it really worth it being in a complicated relationship like this one or being in a very open relationship knowing full well a lot different things can go wrong? I like my simple life a lot and I'm grateful for it.
Colin was also not just responsible for the firearm but also playing them both off against one another, and messing around with them both and messing with the woman’s heads and hearts. Regardless she’s a evil monster for taking that poor girl’s life.

I think Colin is culpable in Moriah’s death…the fact that he had to hide from his girlfriend that he was still in contact with her and changed her name in his phone says a lot…he knew he was playing with fire and the death of an innocent young woman was the result. This is not to lessen the responsibility on Kaitlyn, she is clearly unhinged and a murderer
Colin wasn’t to blame for buying the gun, Colin was to blame for playing 2 women. Kaitlyn is to blame for shooting Moriah in my opinion, there’s no evidence of it being anyone else.
Well, one could argue that knowing he was playing 2 women with one with raging jealousy, maybe a gun is not the best gift for such a jealous narcissist... she's screwing other guys, but mad at he going with someone else.
“She was asked about Moriah’s death and her connections to her and Colin, after being asked if she’d heard what happened to Moriah she rolled her eyes and nodded” On top of her clear lack of emotional maturity where she couldn’t handle her boyfriend leaving, her ex boyfriend moving on, her ex boyfriend trying to live his own life, her ex boyfriend dating someone else, her rolling her eyes is sadly expected. Just such an immature idiot who took an innocent woman’s life, all because she was jealous and couldn’t handle her ex moving on, that somehow meant killing Moriah. Colin was just a dirty cheat who’s out there living his life no doubt sleeping around, and she threw her life away over a man that wasn’t worth it. She killed Moriah, blaming her somehow, just insane, such a horrible waste of life. Kaitlin is just an oxygen thief.

@@katherinesanchez3931 Collin was scum, but that's nowhere on the same level as homicide. So yes, the literal murderer will take center stage over the f***boy. If you can't see why, then maybe you need therapy as much as Kaitlyn did. There are tons of guys who act like that, and while it being common is not an excuse for his behavior, all the women in their wake don't turn to killing their romantic rivals-- it's not an excuse. And to be honest it's much better vengeance if she'd moved out of her damn ex's house and built a life that she didn't view as so thoroughly disposable that she'd abandon it and live in a damn beach hostel just to take out one of his conquests. The best vengeance against any narcissist is to treat them as just as disposable and forgettable as they treat other people-- breaking their main character syndrome is the mortal mental injury for them, if you lash out they just become the villain in the tale, if you kill them the narrative turns into martyrdom, making them an NPC in your story is the worst thing you can do.

The one thing I could think of was why she decided to stay friends with Colin when his ex is clearly nuts. For her own safety she should've stopped all contact with Colin too. It wasn't worth it, it got her murdered... Poor girl. He dumped her after only 2 weeks, probably because she said to him that he needed to tell the ex to stop harassing her. He clearly never had Morias back and for some reason favored the crazy... WTF I would not risk my life over a man that doesn't even have my back! And then Colin still sneakily hanging out with Moria after he got back with crazy ex again... Am I getting fuckboy vibes from Colin? WTF is going on??
She didn't deserve to die. She was all those things you said at the end of your video. But she shouldn't have continued to sneak around with a guy whose "ex" was harassing her. Just be careful of who you date. The dude was at fault too.
Yeah, stay away from people married or in a relationship to a crazy person. I once emailed a male co-worker for something job related and his wife answered the email, she said "he's a married man, this is his wife, don't contact him again" 😂 I was like, he's 300 pounds, I doubt someone will be tempted to "steal" him. She was just as fat as him.
I was thinking the same thing. It's kind of like saying some people are more deserving of being murdered than others. Big deal she road bikes, it's not like she was saving lives or doing the many things many unsung heroes do every day of their lives. It's terrible she was murdered because she was an innocent human being, not because she was a talented bike rider.
It was not being said that M was less deserving to die because she was accomplished. This video is literally about M and her senseless murder. So, if the video is solely about her story, why would the content creator not highlight her accomplishments. He is not saying she didn’t deserve to die only because of her accomplishments, or comparing her to other murder victims.
Just because this particular victim was a very accomplished person, in no way implies some lives are more deserving than others. In this specific case, she happened to be very talented. Speaking about her accomplishments is to describe and understand the person, the victim. Don’t victimize her again by suggesting that there was something inappropriate concerning talking about who she, the person was, before becoming the victim that she is. Cheers. 🇨🇦
It's been so awesome watching your channel blow up. Great concept, well researched, and amazing host. Keep up the good work sir! So happy your doing so well.

Collin may be innocent, but he's kind a dumbass if he's actually saying a woman who stalked, harrased, and expressed a desire to murder someone he was sleeping with was docile and wouldn't hurt a fly.
Kaitlin's actions after the murder of Moriah are what law enforcement calls consciousness of guilt. I absolutely believe she murdered Moriah. What a tragedy, all because Kaitlin has a warped idea of what it means to love somebody. Moriah's gentle spirit shines through in her photos and interviews. May she rest in peace, and may her family find comfort in having been an everlasting part of her journey on earth. ♥
consciousness of guilt isnt evidence. what if she was scared the same person that killed Moriah was going to kill her? reasonable doubt. nobody should be brought to trial let alone convicted without physical evidence
She had an outstanding warrant for unpaid botox treatments? Girl was getting botox in at 25? (And then skipping out on the bill😬) Forty is gonna come as a real shock to her. So is prison, for that matter. Looks like she'll get to experience both at the same time! RIP to Moriah💜
That’s actually the ideal time to start getting Botox as a preventative treatment, reducing lines before they get very deep rather than trying to correct them afterwards! Sorry, this isn’t relevant to the case at all, just something I wanted to add haha😂
@@Ratxmother I have heard that school of thought, starting Botox early as a preventative. The issue with that is that your body starts to form a resistance to it over several years, and eventually it just stops working at an age where you "need" it the most. (Obviously no one "needs" Botox but you know what I mean...) Long term use increases the chances of having other complications too. People who use it for decades often get really high foreheads or just end up looking kind of weird in general.

@@lunaloynaz-lopez2318 The other person literally wrote 'It's a shame he got away scot free', as if he should have been indicted for her murder. You conveniently chose to ignore that and used insults to deflect. Classic.
The case seems incredibly straightforward, and yet, as Sherlock Holmes says, "it may be one of those simple cases which are extremely difficult...The more featureless and commonplace a crime is, the more difficult it is to bring it home."
Insisting that they pronounce taco in Mexico like they do in the UK was a hilarious troll. Your filler material is regularly some of the funniest content in this genre of video.

I didn't think Colin was her ex, i thought Kate and him were together when she killed Moriah. Colin had snuck around that night and went swimming with Moriah and lied to Kate about where he was.
All the reports I've heard in Austin say that he had gotten back with Kaitlyn and was seeing Mo behind her back and visa versa. He was lying to both women to get what he wanted... damned the consequences, I guess.
@yummico hard to decipher your comment... but no one said "it's fine that she committed murder". Just said that is a COMMON reason for that level of violence.
My husband was born in Mexico and lived there more than half his life and I’ve never heard him say taco that way 😂 But anyways, thanks for covering this one. It kind of fell from the headlines.
Young people,if someone breaks up with you and wants to remain friends.... drop them....fast. They don't care about you, how it feels to see them with another person or even how hurtful it is to hear about the new relationship. It is called abuse. Walk away. Two women's lives have been destroyed because Colin wanted to have his cake and eat it too. Love triangle always benefit the person at the centre, no-one else. No, Colin is not blameless. He knew his actions were affecting both women. He didn't want to see Moriah move on to be with someone who was free to be with her. As for Katlin's other side - he definitely had seen that before.....it's why he ended it with Moriah? Katlin told friends she intended to kill and followed through. They will have to testify to what she told them. I wouldn't sleep easy after she serves her sentence.
Seriously?! She fled to a remote area in a whole 'nother country, under a different name, changed her hair length & color and even surgically altered her face to disguise herself and hide from Law Enforcement. They "tracked her down" and "got her", as you say, in just 43 days. That's only 6 weeks. All things considered, that really isn't a "long" time. To put it into perspective for you -- some cases are over 40 or 50 years old and stone cold by the time the perpetrator is arrested, if ever. Now that's a LEGITIMATE long time waiting to get justice.
They probably had someone watching her every day in Costa Rica until they could get the evidence and paperwork in place to lay the charges and to get her back.
Kaitlyn left so much evidence in her wake, she might as well left a signed confession at the scene. Not a very well planned murder, and somewhat amazing that she was able to make it out of the country.

I mean... Sometimes I'm honestly surprised at what men women kill in these cases for. This is just... They're all pathetic in a way: she is for choosing this worm of a guy and he is for being blind and indifferent to the changes around him. Or even allowing them to happen just to please his ego. Not particularly the case here, but sometimes it is.
It's not about him, women like her always go after the other woman instead of the guy who's actually cheating on them. It's pathetic Edit: not that she should've killed him instead. She should've just dumped him lol
Nope just katlyn imagine breaking up with your ex to fuck other guys but the moment your ex finds someone to love you kill her. Take off the “Woman’s Always right” glasses and grow up.
Agatha Christie had written once a story where the actual "brain" behind the murders is one who is really a very docile person and never did anything wrong; his part was to "awaken" the criminal site of the other persons; he could have never been caught if it wasn't for Mr. Poirot who explained the situation. Although the others were the killers, this unseemingly guy was causing them to do the murders. Somehow this case reminded me of this novel.
I believe that not only was she jealous of Moriah for seeing Colin she was likely also very jealous of Mo’s accomplishments and that fact she was so popular within their “friend group”and that’s why she ran and left the man and her entire life after ending Mo’s … she basically just wanted that poor girl deceased.
THIS 💯- Kaitlyn's jealousy of this younger, happier, and much-loved woman destroyed both Moriah's and her own life. Although Kaitlyn had every reason to be thankful for her own life's blessings, her narcissistic jealousy wouldn't allow another woman, whom she saw as her competition, to have a life of success and joy. Jealousy is deadly, not only in body, but of the soul.
I live in Austin. This is heartbreaking. Women killing women over a man is just unfathomable to me. Kaitlyn was physically a pretty girl, she ruined her looks but now her outside matches her inside. Rest easy Moriah.. Austin stands with your family.
Wow, what a selfish take. The victim's death doesn't care if any of this is "unfathomable" to you. Get off your high horse and don't turn a tragedy into your personal, selfish banter.
@@irisiris2892how exactly was he responsible? Kaitlyn is a grown woman capable of making decisions. Yeah he shouldn't have cheated, but she cheated on him as well. Cheating is terrible, but it does not excuse murder.

Heartbreaking case. I’m so sad for Mo’s family. I read a lot about the case and read accounts of intimate friends of Colin and Katilynn. Let’s just say Colin is a huge douche. And women would be smart not to get involved with him. Seriously. Before you attack me for my comments, please really read up on the case and get the facts. As for Nero, what a cutie pie! 😻
Completely agree some things said here are not 100% correct. I’m in Europe and it’s hit the headlines in the mainstream cycling community here just so shocking
Colin knew Kaitlin was jealous and possessive. Even so, he agreed to continue sharing a home, albeit in separate bedrooms. It's very rare that a couple can shift from having a committed monogamous relationship - to being 'just friends' or 'just friends but with intermittent benefits'. Usually one party has moved on emotionally from the relationship, while the other has NOT, but { superficially} 'agrees' to this change- whilst secretly and desperately clinging to the vain hope that by simply still being around the other person they will 'fall back in love' with them and they can resume. They often tell themselves they're 'allowing this break' in order to let the other party get 'the need to stray' out of their system. Kaitlin was probably having multiple casual sexual partners to try to 'prove' to Colin that she WASN'T Clingy or possessive, and even perhaps trying to trigger some jealousy on his part. Sadly, Colin likely wasn't caring or noticing, just taking it on face value. If so, his EIQ ( Emotional Intelligence Quotient ) here appears to be pretty low, AND If he continued to have casual sex with Kaitlin he was, inadvertently, setting up a 'bomb'. Both had casual sexual hook ups after their 'separation under the one roof', but the developing relationship with Moriah was different. This was a definite threat to Kaitlin's hopes to rekindle things with Colin. Moriah was a rising star in the cycling world, a peer of Colin, and in the same social group. This wasn't just a casual hook up. He liked and admired her. Kaitlin didn't have the funds to move out and set up in independent accommodation. Nor did she want to. If this relationship developed there was no further place in Colin's life or accommodation for Kaitlin. She immediately began stalking and harassing Moriah - who backed off. So did Colin, but he then set the trigger for the final outcome. Instead of telling Kaitlin outright; "No, this is someone I'm potentially serious about and I want to see where this goes - and if you can't deal with that then we have to plan for living separately.", he chickened out and only pretended to cut contact. Why did he do that? Was he wanting to 'keep her in reserve' ( ie: wanting her to continue to pay half the rent and 'be available' to him, until he was more sure of Moriah? ) If so, that was incredibly selfish and stupid of him, especially as he NOW knew, without a doubt that Kaitlin WAS definitely jealous and angry. (Moriah had shown him the texts. ) Instead, he lied and covered up and hid the ongoing contact with Moriah under a false name in his phone. Which action Moriah must have colluded with. THIS then became the FOCUS of ALL of Kaitlin's jealous RAGE, when she continued to check his phone and discovered it. Placing ALL the blame on 'the other woman' allows Kaitlin to continue to keep Colin placed front and centre as 'her love object'. The rest unfortunately is history. One key question remains; and it's not about intent, ( for Colin had no reason to want Moriah out of the way... ) but the volume of his stupidity. When exactly did he buy Kaitlin the gun? Just to be clear; Kaitlin IS guilty of this murder. Lot's of people get angry with another and talk hot-headedly of killing them, but making an actual plan, and carrying it out is a whole other thing.
Jealousy is so ridiculous when people are clued out about the millions of other potential love interests in the world. It's really not worth getting all hung up on someone when most people are easily replaced.
Me, a Central Texas native: "it's 'taw-cos' dang it!" But seriously, thank you for covering these cases in such a sympathetic way. Your compassion shows through in every video

LotL - Exactly.... it's as if she had no end game when planning to kill Mo.... although my hunch is she thought that she could kill Mo without being discovered as the killer and lived happily ever after with Colin.
You know Racheal and Ross are tv characters. lol. :)
@ yes…haha

Because some people are unhinged
My thoughts exactly ❤
Because some people are homicidal sociopaths /sykos . Where you & I I would walk away resentful from a cheating partner, but for them, they will deal with it differently.
Usually these cases happen when someone well...become obsessed
They feel "he" or "she" is the trophy and they feel an obsessive compulsion to kill their "competition".
With all the evidence available, how can he defend Kaitlyn? Moriah's poor family. That has to hurt most of all.

What does owning a gun have to do with a propensity for violence?
What? It would certainly be ill advised to buy a gun for someone whom you felt was capable of violence

I feel like it's pretty impossible that Moriah didn't know that Colin and Kaitlin were involved. I mean, I get that might change your perspective of the victim a bit, I just have trouble believing that anyone's freaking hands are clean in these weird love affairs... they almost always aren't.

They weren’t she literally broke up with him and banged multiple dudes
I too felt that, everyone were involved and they were at fault which led to this crime.

Colin was also not just responsible for the firearm but also playing them both off against one another, and messing around with them both and messing with the woman’s heads and hearts. Regardless she’s a evil monster for taking that poor girl’s life.

@@Incognito-ft1fc spot on
Just because this particular victim was a very accomplished person, in no way implies some lives are more deserving than others.
In this specific case, she happened to be very talented.
Speaking about her accomplishments is to describe and understand the person, the victim.
Don’t victimize her again by suggesting that there was something inappropriate concerning talking about who she, the person was, before becoming the victim that she is.

Kaitlin's actions after the murder of Moriah are what law enforcement calls consciousness of guilt. I absolutely believe she murdered Moriah. What a tragedy, all because Kaitlin has a warped idea of what it means to love somebody.

@@Ratxmother I have heard that school of thought, starting Botox early as a preventative. All things considered, that really isn't a "long" time. To put it into perspective for you -- some cases are over 40 or 50 years old and stone cold by the time the perpetrator is arrested, if ever. Now that's a LEGITIMATE long time waiting to get justice.

"Has anyone met a perfectly sane yoga teacher?" LOL my sister-in-law is a yoga instructor, she has some struggles in life.
I finally found you
Redhead, Realtor, Yoga Teacher. The trifecta!
Jealousy is so ridiculous when people are clued out about the millions of other potential love interests in the world. It's really not worth getting all hung up on someone when most people are easily replaced.
Me, a Central Texas native: "it's 'taw-cos' dang it!"
But seriously, thank you for covering these cases in such a sympathetic way. Your compassion shows through in every video
