    I bought my first airsoft gun to protect myself from the monster that lives under my bed. Turns out he's actually chill so we became friends. I still shoot him tho with my airsoft gun for fun.

    Well I agree with most of this there is one thing I do not agree with, splitting your budget.
    Don't worry about looking tacticool if you don't have a good enough gun to back it up, your gun is the main part of your experience don't buy a fancy plate carrier and sacrifice performance.
    If there is anything I could strongly suggest it would be to spend you money on a good rifle (around $400) to make your airsofting more enjoyable and rewarding for first time buyers.
    for all that is holy please please PLEASE don't just buy a $40 set of goggles, desert locust is what I've come to use and I don't regret that purchase considering I overheat a lot in airsoft, outdoor or indoor.
    TDLR: Buy a good gun and good goggles first, worry about rigs and equipment later!

    • @torontoairsoft6036
      @torontoairsoft6036  4 роки тому +22

      Sorry if we weren't clear, we meant don't spend all your money on just the gun and have nothing left over for a good battery/charger, bb's, eyepro, spare magazines, and a good way of carrying those magazines. By no means do you have to look tacticool to have a good time!
      As far as a starter gun, we've seen players DOMINATE using just a starter ~200 dollar aeg like a cm16. Nothing wrong with starting with a budget gun as long as its reliable :)

      I started with a dmr and it worked well for me, I can snipe people and stand a good chance against anyone who gets too close. If you’re trying start as a marksman/sniper role I recommend the echo 1 red star csr (it’s a dragunov) it’s very reliable and it comes 500 FPS with .20 stock which higher than most other airsoft guns however the downside is most other fields cap the FPS at 400 so you can’t really use this everywhere

      @@therac197 I got a K6-3 mainly because of that problem. The thing is K6-3 I got is a replica... so the helmet is plastic and face plate metal. Thats why the thing is extremely front heavy and not practical in the slightest. A real thing would be better balanced but getting one is hard and costly.
      I will probably use the replica without the face plate until I get a STSH-81 Sfera, atleast that one is balanced (it has no faceplate).

    Honestly this is what i would recommend to anyone, especially if you live in the city or anywhere where you can fill up the tanks. Get a used hpa gun, there is almost nothing in it that can break or wear down, and the things that can are really cheap like o rings. Used quality gear for a bargain is also worth it usually, during cocid many stopped playing and are selling their stuff now.

    I bought UMP45 for my first airsoft gun. In (video) game(s) that weapon is usually considered weak as studio nerfed them to be a stable but 'soft' SMG. It turns out the airsoft was in fact surprisingly good: light, surprisingly powerful (it went to 1.4 J which I didn't expect that) and the full auto was in fact surprisingly fast. Some game later I definitely fell in love with my UMP45. It really meant a lot when some of my opponents actually tried my UMP45 and praised it.

    My first airsoft gun was an operator AK-47 with rails for 100$. A friend needed money for a date and I was going to just give him the money but he insisted on selling me an airsoft gun. I never used it outside of my backyard, but it did make me interested in the sport and when ARES announced the VZ.58 I knew I wanted it because I love Czechnology period. After playing around with our small collection, playing with CQC, medium range and even using my VZ.58 as a DMR without a scope because I didn't have one yet and the mounts cost more money, I realized I was very good as a DMR, dedicated myself to the role by adding a scope to the VZ.58, using a VZ.61 skorpion and CZ-75 PO-9 greengas pistol as sidearms since theyre compact and easy to hold with the Czech loadout I formed and found it was very effective. I'm not as into sniping but I learned that the Soviets used SVDs as DMRs in their squads so I liked providing support by suppressing people and knocking out enemy positions from afar while my team advanced.
