hi, do you wash the foam after use? I just bought one and found it worked better on bigger pieces rather than holding mugs

Very helpful info. Thanks. How do you polish the foot on your plate so they don't scratch your table?

After the glaze firing I polish the bottoms with diamond polishing pads and that keeps them from scratching up the table. You just use progressively finer grit until you get a nice shiny finish on the foot ring. 👍
