Hi. We dont see very well! Another vidéo from another angle? Thank you
Wie dick muss die Schüssel sein um muster hinein schnitzen zu können
Preciosisimo trabajos ,me encantan , felicitaciones desde Valencia España
good video, please work on your audio levels
Please angle camera so your hand is t blocking when you carve. I also couldn’t see which tool you were using for what. Love your work!
Change camera angle
This was super helpful to watch as someone who's looking to delve deeper into sgraffito work. We have similar taste in tools and imagery when carving. This video is exactly what I needed to watch before ordering myself a birthday present!
Wow ur works are amazing
Would love if you would slow down some spots so we can actually see what you are doing and which took you are using. Very beautiful 😍
hi, do you wash the foam after use? I just bought one and found it worked better on bigger pieces rather than holding mugs
す
You did a great job on that sloth, very cute! I feel your pain with the recording. I forget to keep my hands in frame as well. I guess I get so wrapped up in what I'm doing that I just don't think about it. Thanks for this informative video!
So is this leather hard green ware? Or softer than that?
Leather hard, on the stiffer end of leather hard so that the little bits come off cleanly
The oopsie moment,
Did you carve through the mug? And then you fix with a spray of water and let dry slowly? I’m always so scared to carve through my items and therefore they are heavy/ think walled.
This is beautiful, good luck my sister. We also do such pots
Bandaid for protection is genius!!!🎉
Thanks, Eileen. This is exactly what I needed for next level carving.
Gorgeous thanks a lot sister for all your efforts...Im interested bout 5 years ago but I didn't have time for this...

How can I get it from Bangladesh?
Do you have a link to the tools you use?
I have a video posted called my favorite tools for carving pottery and it goes more into detail about the tools there!
What clay do you use?
I’m currently using laguna frost, but I think I was using b mix in this video
Hey! This is Viktoria I miss you girl, how are you doing? Call me, when you get a chance
Watching the video at 0.5x of normal speed is perfect for being able to watch this carving of a mug. Tap on the stack of three dots that reside in the upper right corner of the video. Lots of options hiding there.
Hello, The majority of my projects is slab work. I was hoping you could recommend a tool/technique for carving very thin lines that are close together. The problem I have when carving into wet clay is the minute pieces of clay that remain in the lines as well as the buildup of clay that’s pushed to the surface on both sides of each line. So I get the line free of debris and it then creates another problem with smoothing the surface. So, in essence, I fix one problem but it creates another and another. Is there a tool or technique to avoid this never ending and most frustrating problem? What I would really love is for you to create a video showing how you address this problem. Although I’ve never heard anyone else complain about this, I can’t be the only one. Or at least I’d like to think so. Thank you.
Đẹp ❤
I really enjoyed watching you video. Very interesting and creative pottery channel. Thanks for sharing!
Hello friends. Wishing you a very happy new day. I do sculpting. please follow me
P l e a s e show finished work.
Great video! Keep up the awesome work 👍
At what stage is the clay when you carve it?
It’s a little stiffer than leather hard. With larger or thinner pieces, I’ll give them a spray part way through and cover them for a bit to even out the moisture if it dries too quickly.
I just carved my first piece yesterday and it is soo addictive!! I had to get on the ball and handbuild a lot of thick pieces for me to carve!!
This is beautiful, thank you for sharing
So helpful. Thank you.
Sooooo beautiful 😍❤
If you put the camers over you shoulder when you are sitting up we will see what you see but at a better angle than this side view we are seeing now. The same goes for when your on your wheel, because if we see you on the wheel head on, its the opposite way we should be doing it xx
Thanks for the feedback! I have been struggling with the angle. I just record these on my phone so usually just prop it up on something, but I think I can go over the shoulder with a tripod. I’ll just have to remember to keep my head out of the shot!
I've subscribed whoop 😁😁
I'm gonna subscribe!
What is that floating in your coffee ?
It’s boba! Also known as bubble tea, or pearl tea, it’s big tapioca balls in milk tea and it’s yummy!
Thank you for sharing. I'm inspired to try this myself.
Awesome! You can do it!
Sooo pretty ❣️ I need to make one too!
I'm fascinated by these carvings... Forgive me for being an absolute newb: do these carved pieces get baked in some sort of oven? Obviously I have no clue about this art form...I create in sand, very large scale...and I really really want to learn how to do, what you do.
Very helpful info. Thanks. How do you polish the foot on your plate so they don't scratch your table?
After the glaze firing I polish the bottoms with diamond polishing pads and that keeps them from scratching up the table. You just use progressively finer grit until you get a nice shiny finish on the foot ring. 👍
Sometimes the vídeos até speed, I can not see the tools ,, sorrry i am eldery , LOL.
Good morning, please, could show the tools that tou use for makethe ceramic before? Thanks.
Eileen, thank you! Very Nice!
Beautiful work! I was surprised to find your Etsy shop has not items in it. Are you selling elsewhere?
Thanks for your interest! I just moved and am prepping to open my own gallery in Florida. I’ll be selling pieces online again later this year. Check back again then!
Way different way to throw a plate that I have seen...love it! Thank you and I am happy to have found you!
