Watched this video, tried it and immediately worked within 15 mins. My dog is now calmly laying down in the crate. I used to think he always hated the crate from all the crying and biting the crate, and I would go over to soothe him. Stopped soothing him and let him cry, and in 10 mins he was calm and playing with his toy inside. Will definitely be repeating this daily
I never comment on UA-cam videos but feel I have too. You are incredible mate. I thought my dog hated the crate. He’d scream for hours so we gave up with it. The other day we left him for a few hours and he destroyed the sofa. He was becoming more and more naughty. We had to do something, so we purchased a larger crate and followed everything you said. It worked within a couple of hours and we now have a much calmer and well behaved dog. I can’t thank you enough. I’m so thankful I came across your videos - now I’ve just got to stop him jumping up at people!
I got a new puppy 2 weeks ago, and although having dogs for over 50 years. I watched this video a few times. Moved the crate next to my desk left the doors open followed your instructions and after 3 days, I had to close the front door on the crate to open the window. The puppy must have thought I was putting him in so went in the crate and laid down ❤😂. You know your stuff sir. I don’t know if because I followed your advice or that he watched the video a few times 😂😂
yeah i sat our puppy in front of you tube and told him to learn his stuff... didn't work he is still a little stinker randomly. He is a mini aussie high energy and needs socialization but he fell asleep to you tube so that theory for me is busted lol
I used this training and it worked within a DAY. Our 4 month old puppy hated the crate at first! He would rip at it with his mouth and cry non stop. I sat down with him yesterday morning with this method and within an hour he was settled and sleeping. We have just had our first night in the crate and the house has visibly relaxed. Thank you Will!! Now to see what else I can train him to do 🤔😂
Same!!! Just now it was an horrible night start. Around 10 taps and some drops and she’s quiet. Don’t know how much time she will be but enough for my husband and childrens to fall asleep!! I’m so thankful I found this video ❤
You have no idea how happy you just made me! We just adopted a puppy afraid of the crate and with separation anxiety. This will save his our our lives 🤣 thank you so so much will! ♥️
How has your training been going, following these tips? Just curious, because we just adopted an 8-9 month old puppy and barking at night is brutal. Any feed back would be appreciated. Thanks
Hey @@Alucard697! It's becoming better everyday but it definitely was not an easy process! We took a lot of time to be home with him and during the nights/afternoons the crate is always next to us. This way, he's not forced to sleep alone which is very hard in the beginning. Since we put the crate in our bedroom, literally next to us where he can see, he improved a lot. Everytime he cried we did what Will does, a loud noise on the top of the crate and he started to understand that whining for attention doesn't help. Next steps for us are to start leaving him alone for 15-30 minutes on the crate until he gets used to it and then when he does, we can start to take the crate further and further away during the nights. Also, one thing I understood from experience is that not all dogs will love the crate and maybe forcing them to always be there is not the best option. Our dog was abused before being with us so the crate doesn't bring to him the best memories, Patience and understanding is the key, good luck! 🙌
My girlfriend and I have recently adopted an adult dog, he's not the biggest fan of the crate and was whining the first time we put him in there, we followed the first few steps of this (haven't got tried him alone in there yet), but within probably 10 minutes he was chilling in his crate with no noise, I'm amazed! Thanks for putting such good content out for free!!
Of all the videos out there about crate training, this is the only one that seems to be working for our dog. Still he doesnt goes by himself but when put in there, seems to be relaxed and sleeps calmly. Thanks a lot for these tips mate ❤
I just got my first puppy ever at 20. A husky puppy. I am so grateful for this video because I have been stressing myself out to the point of sobbing because I thought I could never get him crate trained. Thank you so much for this, and for the course. ‼️🙏
Very first crate training session with our 2 months old Lab and within 5 mins he was laying down quietly in his crate and fell asleep for a solid nap. Thank you!
Your methods are simple enough to be adapted to most any dog. I really appreciate that, and I watch all your new uploads. Even if I think it’s on a topic I’ve already mastered I know my man Wil has tricks galore up his sleeves. Thanks for being a dog trainer that works with a wide variety of dogs and for using a balanced approach. Too many people are trying to surrender dogs they “can’t handle” that don’t even HAVE a crate or a leash etc. People want to be nice but loving leadership IS nice. Use the crate, love the crate, BENEFIT from the crate.
Just randomly picked this video to learn how to crate train my 5 month old toy poodle. And let me tell you how this was the best resourceful video I’ve ever watched. Being a new puppy mom and my puppy being a Velcro puppy this technique has helped him get used to his crate. Although it’s only day 1 I can see the difference! Thank you so much!! Can’t wait to watch your other videos to learn and teach my pup!! *Two 👍🏽 👍🏽’s up!*
Will, just got a golden lab yesterday, tried crate training but she was non stop crying, watched the video asleep and quiet by the end of it. You are awesome
I need to say thank you Will. We've adopted a 6 month old rescue and crate training has been so tough. 4 nights have gone by and we're running on fumes. I was about to breakdown and found this video and our little dog is curled up fast asleep after howling and whining earlier on. Thank you so much
@youngbug2292 We are picking up our 6 month old pup tonight and hoping to hit the ground running with this method. Fingers crossed... I know he is not currently crate trained. How has it gone for you the last two months since you posted this?
@@johngifford1980 been a huge success. He doesn't go in on command but knows that when we put him in, it's chill/sleep time. Been a godsend for enforced naps when overtired and allowed me to get work done. I now work upstairs most of the day while he naps in his crate and I'm not sure we will ever stop having him sleep in his crate
Watched this video last night did like a 8 min crate train and that same night the puppy spend the entire night sleeping in it's crate. Quietly and only made a fuss when he really had to go, he went immediately off on his potty training pad and went back into the crate, no meltdown. I highly recommend anyone watching to complete the video. I've been trying to crate train my puppy for a week and just 1 of his exercises made my puppy crate trained. I thought it was a spoof but today as I did my chores a put the puppy in and it immediately understood to be calm and quiet and wait until I'm ready to let it out.
I got my first puppy last year at this time and your videos have been so very helpful... I've been so successful using things I've learned from you, I'm getting another puppy later this month
I have been strugleing for more than an hour to put my dog to sleep with no success. About half way into the video she was already sleeping. This was so helpful thank you. Somthing i think is a good idea is to cover the crate with something. Thank you ❤
I’m turning 30 and getting my first dog this summer. I’ve wanted one for 20 years. I have been looking for a puppy since January 2023. My entire life I haven’t had people around me with a good knowledge about dogs, but I feel like I have absorbed a lot of knowledge on my own. You, McCann dogs and Victoria Stilwell, and talking to people with a deep understanding of their dogs needs, being calm, assertive leaders. I have also been in treatment for PTSD. I have heard testimonies of people whose dogs were abused before they came into their forever home. I am so excited to see what he picks up and I will certainly make mistakes, but I will not take the squeaking as crying, like some owners tend to do. It’s very hard to let the puppy sit in their crate and whimper, if you interpret the whimper as crying, then it’s harder to help them calm down without giving in. Thank you!
Amazing! My pup is 10 weeks old and happy to go and sleep in her crate, play or have her Kong in in with the door open. Putting your instructions into action today and hope for your incredible results👍 thank you!!
I just got a 8 week old blue staffy and he’s been going mental so wanted to know how to crate train him and this video has worked within 15mins! Thank you for making this!
Hi Will! Your advice was invaluable with my last foster pup. Question for you about potty training... The one difficulty I encountered last pup was potty training. There were several factors that made it hard to get to the potty area quickly. -he was very timid the first few weeks about leaving home and it took 1-2 weeks of carrying him around progressively wider areas to get him comfortable with 'outside'. (Hallway, stairwell, first floor, courtyard, alley, street, block, etc, one step at a time.) -It was the dead of winter so I had to bundle him up which slowed the process more. I let him wear his coat and leash around the house to get him comfortable with those things and not associate them with 'scary outside'. But yeah, this added more steps to the process. So basically it's just a slow an somewhat arduous process to do each potty break. I work from home so the frequency isn't the issue, it's just that it takes 10 minutes to get the puppy outside without scooping him up and manhandling him into a jacket and carrying him outside, which isn't how I want him to be accustomed to pottying obviously. Do you have any tips or videos for doing potty training in these kind of more challenging apartment living situations, where it's not as simple as opening the back door? Maybe tips on how to use a puppy patch or puppy pads more effectively, without creating bad habits? (I reorganized the apartment to control the environment better, which worked amazingly well, except it required moving the pee pads and we had a bunch of frustrating accidents because of my poor planning.) Every other facet of his training was A+, but the apartment potty training situation is something I want to figure out before my next foster pup, and I'm not really sure how to proceed. thanks!
We have just had our two Beaglier puppies yesterday and this video is spot on for us. I have watched lots of your video and am teaching my husband to stop making noises when they whine a lot in their crates. This has proved perfect for our first night last night and hoping it will continue for tonight too.
Couldn’t recommend this video enough make sure to be firm guys your puppy will still love you 😌, first times she’s settled in her crate, will keep repeating for longer periods of time going forward thank you
We pick our 8 week old pup up on 17th of March. I have two weeks off work and NEED to get him crate trained in that time for his safety and my peace of mind. He'll be in there a max of 2 hours at 10 weeks old and I'm so glad I found this.. especially with the distance part!!! Will let you know how we get on!!
Thank you so much. We have a very young puppy currently 9 to 10 weeks. And this has worked perfectly one go Yes, I am still in the room. I am in view of her but the creator's closed. She's asleep and I have sat at the kitchen tabdefinitely going to be following. You definitely going to be looking at that guide you have.❤🎉❤ Literally took 30 seconds got around, did the tapping Give us some treats and shes out for the count. I think she may be too young to do the leaving her own. But will definitely be going through that more through through the motions
I just bought a rescued 2 year old aussie cattle dog I don’t have trouble when he’s in just getting him in. I will definitely try the conk and meatsicle method to get him comfortable with it.
my 3 month staffy still won’t go in to settle in her own, but she eventually settles and naps when I leave her in there or leave the house.. challenging my dog hates the crate is huge!!! She likes to be up under me and when I need to work, do dishes, eat, take a break.. she puts on a whining show lol mid day incremental crating is still a challenge but your video is helping me have patience and keep at it!!
I've just rescued a greyhound and im doing the crate training now by the sofa and he's completely settled, wish me luck for tonight when me and my partner go to bed as we've had trouble on a night
Just got my pup 3 days ago and have got a crate arriving in the post tomorrow, I’m gonna do exactly this because the idea alone sounds fantastic. And all the positive comments tell me it must work, wish me luck guys ☺️ Wire haired Miniature Daschound
I have 2 dogs, big breeds. One is more shy and and scares easier (male) while the female is more open and interactive, not being afraid of anything. They are abt 5yrs old and I have had them for 1 yeard and a half. They were raised in a factory for breeding with bad conditions, rescued to a shelter at 2 yrs, where they stayed plus 2 but having come very traumatized both, not connecting easily with humans, let alone other dogs. Now they are both so sweet and trusting with us, but I still find it hard to walk them out, because as soons as they realise they are about to leave, they get so euphoric that they will take me to the ground jumping and runing. And as I exit home, they try to run or walk at fast pace, specially the female, and I always have to be pulling. Would you recommend stil the crate as a beginner training given ther historial? Great content, more ppl like you needed.
I never even had to train. Lol. My aussie from day 1 would just go in her crate and sleep. At night she sleeps in it with the gate closed. Not sure why but I'll take it
if my aussie went in the crate on his own i would have had a stroke and possible heart attack! But he runs free now but if i say crate my mutt goes in no problem.. the aussie takes off like he is in the kentucky derby.. he would outrun the fastest horse... but if i put his kong toy in with frozen peanut butter he goes in and waits till i say kong.. he turns around and i shut the door. he is quiet after that. We have a new mini aussie now almost 8 weeks old and he is ok in his crate but we tell alexia to play gentle dog music... he falls asleep.
We've got a golden retriever 1 week now. First night in the crate he struggled, since then we've cordoned off part of the room at night to give him space to leave the crate when he wants as we've been leaving the crate door open and he goes in voluntarily during the day and night when tired. We feed him just outside the crate door and he's been great, to the point I was concerned he liked the crate too much. In saying that, he chews everything, including fingers. Early days but long may it last
@@chro1843 i leave crate doors open but we have a bowl of water in the room and i have noticed that if something scares the 19 week old mini american shepard (mini aussie) he will sleep at the foot of the bed but never up towards the center of the bed. the mutt and big aussie are great but imma say 1 time a week the puppy ends up in the bed. he is NOT afraid of storms or anything.. i have found the puppy in my mutts crate and the mutt in the puppy's crate lol glad i looked before i put the food down lol
@@chro1843 ok finger biting can be done the nice way or the direct way.... nice way.. redirect with toys or snacks... direct way keep a leash and collar on him / her and when he/she chews anything give him a snap on the collar.. i have found the 2nd option works best but... positive training takes ALOT longer. dont get it wrong dont pull him / her off of their feet or anything..lol just a snap on the leash and a firm no works wonders. get the puppy under control now while he / she is young wont be an issue later... just my opinion.
My best tool for crate training my pup was my other dog who was already crate trained! Pup fell into the crate routine so easily with an adult example to follow. We have a few crate rules. Crate is for dogs only, so no kids etc. Dogs ALWAYS get a reward for going into crate. Crate door is only ever opened when dogs are calm. Crate is only mandatory at night and very occasionally during the day if we have to be out for more than about 15 mins. That’s about it I think. If you go to the treat jar, pup will anticipate and rush to the crate in case that is where I want her, and it’s the place she goes[ to eat high vale treats. Both my dogs love their crate. I was ignorant of how good crates were before I got my older dog. Now I wouldn’t have it any other way. There is always somewhere safe and calm for them to be if I have to know they are safe and contained for any reason.
great facts and funny at the same time, thankyou, we have a 10 week old golden retriever and cries when hes in the pen and goes to sleep as soon as he gets out, he likes to be with out like my 7 year old golden
Mr. Atherton: Thank you so much for this! We recently adopted a 1 year old Shih Tzu. It has become apparent that they former owners/breeders didn't train him at all except to eliminate on a pad. We've been trying to get him trained to go outdoors but we've been ready to pull our hair out. We have been told multiple times to try crate training...but I've resisted because I feel I'm punishing him. Looking forward to making progress! Again, thanks so much! Tim
Dear Will, I completely love your videos, and greatly admire you as a dog trainer, THANK YOU millions for all your help! You are so loving, and kind, and do positive training with a minimum amount of necessary corrections, and... The only thing that leaves me a bit confused is this crate thing. In my country, it is ILLEGAL to keep your dog closed in a crate. It is considered a violation of animal rights. They can be left in a safe room or pen, but they need to have enough space to walk around, and always have access to water. And if a crate is used as a safe den, it should always be kept open. What do you think about this?.. What if... perhaps, this actually does make some sense?.. Greetings from Finland! My best wishes to you 😊
Great video. I also just ordered a camera off amazon that you can talk through. So I can verbally correct him while I’m gone. Crate training is stressful lol
Ok my puppy is 10 weeks old just got him less then 48 hrs ago am going to try this as Simon cry’s and bites the gate fir a little fellow he is loud so here we go Thanks for the advice cheers
I have never had a problem crate training my dogs in the past, until now! I brought home a beautiful Golden Retriever 3 days ago that had been flown from Chicago via LAX to Portland Oregon. All I can say is NEVER AGAIN. I believe in spite of the breeder stating the 23 week old puppy was partially crate trained, they lied and I think the outrageous itinerary helped traumatize this pup badly where she fights me the 2 times I have crated her so fiercely I’m afraid one of us is going to end up hurt. Once she is in she makes a fuss for a short time and I use your corrections to quiet her. Fortunately she gives up quickly and sleeps through the night. ANY ADVICE YOU MIGHT GIVE WILL BE APPRECIATED. I will heed the advice in this video but my biggest concern is her or myself getting hurt in the process. I’m sure we look like 2 cage fighters when I am trying to get her in the crate and the 2 times I have gotten her in the crate I was exhausted following the process and she looks like she could go on indefinitely. I should note I am 72 and never thought that crate training would be a issue but I think the trauma is the base of the problem and I don’t know how to undo that experience or create a positive experience but I will hope for the best with the new information in this video. I do subscribe to the “Perfect Puppy” . Cheers, you are my hero/guru
I hear you. 🙏 I highly highly recommend reading up on “ decompression “ - I foster traumatized shelter dogs and have learned some very valuable components of allowing a dog to decompress so it sets them up for success as a great doggie in your home. 🙏
Man my dog doesnt need crate training, doesnt pull on the leash and has a loose leash walk every morning. Set up for succes from 8 weeks old thanks to your vids. But at this stage I just love your enthousiasm and watch all the vids anyway. Have a lovely evening bro.
Do you have a video of a dog who actually hates the crate trying to get them in? Every video I see is a well behaved not scared dog. It would be helpful to see a dog who doesnt want to go in and then see tips and strategies.
Hi Will, thank you so much for the many usefull videos you put up here. Thank you! I would like to ask if you have any useful tips for situations where dogs have to be in crates for a prolonged time in case of injury or travelling. For instance.. My friend's puppy got injured and the vet prescribed an 8 week crate rest.
Can i train my puppy multiple commands at a time (sit, down, etc.) or should i wait till he masters one command and then learn a new one? ( 1 week sit, next week down for example
What about a rescue dog that spent its entire early life (one to three years ) in their crate in a larger kennel in a warehouse of 200+ plus other dogs Ginger is approx. three and half years to four years old now and she has been acclimated to having her frozen kong or a frozen beef bone on an old dog bed on our sunporch (she does not sleep there. This bed is used only for "bone on the bed,.") She is not eliminating in the house,, she is not destructive in the house. She is fully trustworthy in our home. She has been trained to sit on the sunporch and watch the world and people go by. She has been trained to lay down, relax and watch the lawn mowing guys on the tractor go by, or the bikers ride by etc. She only barks when sounding an alarm. (She does get PLENTY of physical exercise, mental stimulation and physical fun throughout the day.) I am age 72, retired and I take my dog pretty much with me everywhere. Or my retired husband is home.
No video like this could possibly cater for every individuals dogs needs. It seems to me that your dog makes the right choices anyway so crate training wouldn’t be be essay … it might be a good idea to train your dog not to associate a crate with bad things though… just imagine how awful it would be for him if he had to go to the vets overnight and the crate brings back terrible memories ?
How many times a day should this be done. Just picked up my puppy (golden retriever) so far it's been non stop whining. Will definitely be doing this tomorrow.
Is it okay to move the puppy’s crate if needed? Like can I continue his crate training by moving the crate from my office to the living room? Or should the crate always be in the same place during training
To anyone going through this...I give her vetiq calming treats about 30 mins before she goes in the crate and half every time she's good. 3 days in, she settles quickly! Also, since I got her we have a lavender and chamomile candle burning...she definitely settles right down at night, my last dog did too! Prepare to be sleepier in yourself earlier too! But that could just be being a puppy parent! 😂
I have some toys hanging from my puppy's crate to encourage her to go in there and play and enjoy being in there. After watching this video I'm not sure whether I should take them out, as they encourage high energy and playing inside the crate. Should my puppy have toys etc in the crate? Or just water and her cushion/blankets? Thanks x
Keep trying to air drop treats in and my puppy can’t see them so I feel like I’m not rewarding his good behaviour should I use a verbal command as well? I feel when I use a verbal command he gets quite excited
what is the crate for? is it used until a certain age? or is it forever? Even as an adult, when the dog is left home alone, should it stay inside the crate?
The crate can be used all the dogs life if you want it to be. My dig is nearly two… she loves her crate and when she wants a bit of quiet time. She just goes in it herself. She always chooses to go in it at night . If your dog chooses not to go in it and never damages your house and always makes good choices, then you’d not have to use the crate anymore .. I had one dog who just stopped using it after a year or so and she was fine :-)
I have one crate trained dog (8 yrs old lab/boarder collie mix) and one who is not crate trained (13yrs old, lab/golden retriever mix-he didn't need to be IMO). When my crate trained dog got to the point where he could be left out of the crate while we were gone, we left the crate door open, and half of the time when we returned home, BOTH dogs were curled up in the crate. It really is a safe space for them until the end of their lives.
This method just saved me with my puppy. she would whine and pounce on the crate trying to get out. At one point she bit the bars and somehow got her small jaw and teeth hooked onto the bars sideways and she couldn’t get her muzzle unstuck. I was terrified trying to figure out how to get her out potentially even needing to cut or pry open the crate bars because of how stuck she was. She got out safely on her own after calming down and wiggling herself out. Later after that I watched this video I learned what to do. But I decided to shush loudly instead of hitting the crate, it’s the same concept but she responded better to that. Shushing is also easier because I can do in from afar without needing to move to hit the crate. How this method worked so quickly? I don’t know, but It took only 3 minutes for her to understand. Like she actually stoped thrashing and crying like it was torture to be in her crate when it’s not. I’m relieved she’s safe and behaved now. Her Kong also played a role in helping her be distracted and settle. Will is definitely a great trainer with good experience who knows what to do. I’m so grateful she’s relaxed now and I’m learning how to be a good loving leader ❤
We have a whippet for 2 weeks now. She's 7months. She went in the crate without much problems from the first night. Wined 3 times and after soothing her for some minutes, she slept all night every night for 2 weeks. Last 3 days, she started wining to get out quite early in the morning. She bites in the door as well. There is drewl everywhere. Last night she started at 2.30 am wining loudly. I made the mistake letting her out and eventually crashed next to her all night: me in the couch and her next to me on her dog couch. She just wants to be near me. When I am home she follows me everywhere, fearing I will leave her. This surely doesn't help things. The crate is in the storage room next to the kitchen and it's a plastic carbench type with side entrance (doortype: rotates upward). She is rarely in the crate during the day. Only happened once for 4 hours and this went fine. My wife doesn't want the crate in the living room. Don't know how to proceed now.
Everywhere I have read about Crate Training says not to hit or tap the top of the crate as it's about creating a enjoyable and peaceful environment for them?
Watched this video, tried it and immediately worked within 15 mins. My dog is now calmly laying down in the crate. I used to think he always hated the crate from all the crying and biting the crate, and I would go over to soothe him. Stopped soothing him and let him cry, and in 10 mins he was calm and playing with his toy inside. Will definitely be repeating this daily
This was so good that I moved in the crate with my dog. We both love it now.

The other day we left him for a few hours and he destroyed the sofa. He was becoming more and more naughty. We had to do something, so we purchased a larger crate and followed everything you said. It worked within a couple of hours and we now have a much calmer and well behaved dog. I can’t thank you enough.

Hey - how has this worked long term? I tried this with our pup yesterday and it worked but by the afternoon the next day it’s no longer working :(
You have no idea how happy you just made me!

Too many people are trying to surrender dogs they “can’t handle” that don’t even HAVE a crate or a leash etc. People want to be nice but loving leadership IS nice. Use the crate, love the crate, BENEFIT from the crate.
This actually worked on my 8 week old Cane Corso puppy. Thank you for posting this content. You changed our lives for the better.
Crate training is such an awesome tool! Crate training doesn't have to be so scary and confronting, such great advice.
Been a rocky start but after finding and following this advice things have vastly improved thank you very much
Will, just got a golden lab yesterday, tried crate training but she was non stop crying, watched the video asleep and quiet by the end of it.
Amazing. Had our new puppy 1 day and she sees in the crate, such a laid back and relaxed puppy. Great advice
😊😊
Thank you!
I hope your dog owning journey is going well! I have always wanted one too since childhood and am biding my time for when I & my family are ready.
This video helped me so much. Our dog was showing unwanted behaviors while on the cage and this helped it so much. Thank you!!
Excellent! The only crate training video you need!
Will is the best trainer ever!
(Hallway, stairwell, first floor, courtyard, alley, street, block, etc, one step at a time.)
-It was the dead of winter so I had to bundle him up which slowed the process more.
(I reorganized the apartment to control the environment better, which worked amazingly well, except it required moving the pee pads and we had a bunch of frustrating accidents because of my poor planning.)
Every other facet of his training was A+, but the apartment potty training situation is something I want to figure out before my next foster pup, and I'm not really sure how to proceed.
So, how's it going?
My 2 months Poodle is learning so fast at this. Love her
I trained my new guy using your system that came with Boot Camp. It worked like a charm. Thank you!
I wish I’d found you 4 weeks ago when we first picked up our puppy. Fantastic advice, thank you 🙏🏻
Trying this right now. Our pup has been with us less than a week and is great going in his crate for bedtime but wines in the day even when tired.
How did this approach work for you? Particularly, the tapping the crate to startle the pup out of barking?
Thank you for this ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL no nonsense training video ❤
And all the positive comments tell me it must work, wish me luck guys ☺️
Wire haired Miniature Daschound
Used this on my Mini Dachshund and he loves his crate within like literally 10 minutes lol
This video helped so much!
This video alone and I’m forever a supporter!
Wow Im only Partway through this and Im thinking how helpful and kind of you to give is a free course.
Hell yeah. Can't wait to try the tapping and the air dropping. techniques.
Not sure why but I'll take it
Thanks for bragging.
if my aussie went in the crate on his own i would have had a stroke and possible heart attack!
I'm getting a baby dog soon so these videos are invaluable. Thank you!
Thank you very much . I've tried lot of stuff and dint work but one I've done what you said. I worked. You have helped me alot
Lucky my pup freaks out even with my adult dog in the crate.
great facts and funny at the same time, thankyou, we have a 10 week old golden retriever and cries when hes in the pen and goes to sleep as soon as he gets out, he likes to be with out like my 7 year old golden
Great content. Have a 7 month old boxer who hates being left alone. Constant barking. Will start trying this asap. Thank you
You delievered this video like a boss. Thank you so much for your help.
Thank you! This worked perfectly and SO FAST.
Thank you for your advice. New owner of American bull mastiff. First time owner as well.
Ok my puppy is 10 weeks old just got him less then 48 hrs ago am going to try this as Simon cry’s and bites the gate fir a little fellow he is loud so here we go Thanks for the advice cheers
Long lead remote rattling is a great touch. Good ideas
Thank you very much for this concise and easy to understand video. Very much appreciated.
Amazing ideas!! So thankful ❤❤❤ you rock
New subscriber, just got a French bulldog pup and loved your video on crate training, thank you for your knowledge.
I just adopted an akita 1 year old she stopped after 3 times thank you :)
Can’t wait for this
How many times a day should this be done. Just picked up my puppy (golden retriever) so far it's been non stop whining. Will definitely be doing this tomorrow.
Great video.
I got a rescue I am getting ready to crate train.
Thank You..
How’d it go ?
Brilliantly explained, thank you!
Is it okay to move the puppy’s crate if needed? Like can I continue his crate training by moving the crate from my office to the living room? Or should the crate always be in the same place during training
My diogs hated their crate Initially but now they (and the csts) love hsbong a save, quiet place
This actually works! Thank you very much
Do you have a recipe for the frozen meatsicle? I think that would help my dog out a lot.
Will thank you for this video, this has been a great help i just wish i had this a few years ago when i tried to have a dog back then...
I love your content. As a new puppy owner your advice has been so helpful. Thank you will. 😁
Awesome video! Thank you 🐶
what is "some of the fun stuff that let's the dog know when they're in the crate, great things happen"?
a demo video would be awesome
Thanks alot man you really helped understand
This worked within minutes on my new puppy.
Thank you so so so so much!
I feel when I use a verbal command he gets quite excited
you are top notch dude!
what is the crate for? is it used until a certain age? or is it forever?
Excellent video
Do we use the same technique for a new puppy that is 8 weeks old?
Is that percy jackson
Does your dog have lungs
Good tips, thanks
Fantastic! Thank you! ❤
would this be the same for outdoor kennel training?
Everywhere I have read about Crate Training says not to hit or tap the top of the crate as it's about creating a enjoyable and peaceful environment for them?
Do you suggest this same crate training methods with a 13 week old puppy?
Do you move the crate around with you at the start? I cannot move my desk when I work but I can move the crate into my home office
