We're playing LIVE at Park City Music Hall in Bridgeport, CT on Black Friday (11/29/24)! Get your tix here: www.handstamp.com/e/the-low-darts-xcrdusdj This is one from the vault - we recorded the rhythm track back in July 2022 (the same day as Sir Duke!) Special shout out to soprano saxophonist Riley Trauscht, who we forgot to put in the credits! If you enjoy, please share with your friends and/or consider giving us a UA-cam Thanks donation (next to Share button) to support future videos!
Besides rhythm track, when were the rest of the performances captured? I just can’t wait to hear you guys do some original stuff. Your covers are insanely good, but with your talents I bet you could do some killer remixes or new stuff.
@safetinspector2 The video of Sydney’s vocal was recorded in her bedroom. Luke overdubbed his bass part in his house at college. Colman recorded Riley’s sax at Colman’s college apartment.
...74 was a good year...one thing you can say about Daryl is that he was all about selling it. Later towards the eighties his presence was really killer man. Amd 'man eater' and such just layed them in the isles..
Bravo, kids - what a great rendition of a classic song…….!!!!! Damn - right down to the sax and horns! Not sure of y’all’s names, but the young lady on backing vocals has a divine voice and the perfect amount of “soul” for this song…….👍
WOW...Fantastic cover. Every single one of you were amazing. The mixing, the notes, the highs, the lows...stellar, stellar, stellar....as it all began in Coleman's cellar. Just found this. Damn Good. ❤❤❤❤❤Saw 'BLACK COW' beforehand, equally impressive. ❤❤❤❤
This is awesome, kind of Leonid and Friends vibes in your productions, very cool! I'm old enough these are songs from my HS and college days, so I'm biased, but it's great to see, as someone else said here, gen Z musicians revisiting the best of the oldies 🙂
Checking in from Salt Lake City. You guys popped up in the algorithm a few days ago and it’s been on since. The mix, the filming, the vocals are all bomb. You deserve to be widely known.
The band sounds great.reminds me when I was young.PS the girl sure has a cool voice.glad to see young people who really know how to play their instruments n great vocalists too.like that trombone play.looks like he’s using a 6-1/2 cup mouthpiece. I played trombone many years in school. The became a bass player n vocals. Stick together all of you are great 👍
I was wondering how they were going to handle that vocal solo high point.. The girl nailed it, but listening to the guys voice I think he could nailed it also.. Nervous teens playing cool covers.. Great.. Good job guys I don’t really comment or thumbs up but you guys get one
Just happened to stumble across one of your 4 hour shows on UA-cam today. Coming from a singer/songwriter/musician for more than 40 years, you guys are killing it! I'm a fan! Advice? Don't break up and don't stop! I can hear tremendous improvement within the group and that will keep growing as you move forward. REQUSET: Africa by Toto!...and then an ORIGINAL SONG by the Low Darts!! 🙂
I’ve begun following you all. I think this is one of your best performances. Sound quality is excellent for a UA-cam video! Everything, instrument and voices, seemed to mixed very well! Keep up the great work!
The girl sounded exactly like and as good as I expected... Never expected all that voice coming out of that dude! LOL Great brass work as well! You'd find that in every 90's movie! Nice work kids! None of you are old enough to be digging that sound. LOL I'll come back for more! XOXO
that was amazing, what college, Berkley, Oberlin,Juillard...if not one of those maybe people should rethink where they get theirmusical educations. the quality of the musicianship is off the charts. well done
Thanks - we recorded this when Colman and Sebastian were in Highschool, Luke was at community college, Sydney and Sean were at UCONN, and Jonas was at Vanderbilt
Looking at the early videos compared to this and others more recent, it's evident that you're all not down in that basement anymore. Each of you have careers to pursue and you've started to scatter. It's sad and fantastic at the same time! There's no doubt that you'll have success in whatever you decide for your future. You have the ambition, talent, drive and persistence to get it done! You're making us old folks so jealous ;-)
To all of you guys, I am 57 years old, and I am also a drummer. When I was your age, I used to listen to this song. What is wonderful about your interpretation is that you made it your own. AWESOME JOB, GOOD FOR YOU!!!!
You guys are excellent, at 68 and having 25+ years in music business you extremely tasteful artists are the hope of musics promising future....remain humble, respectful of one another and "never" compromise your musical values...much success!
Man! You guys are so talented! I wish my Aunt was still around so I could share these songs with her. She was my music mentor and would have loved this Chanel and your beautiful music! Blessings and peace
Who knows what the future holds for a band like this. Life is probably pulling you guys in so many different directions and it's probably getting harder and harder to get everyone in a room to play. But, even with just what you've made so far, it really is something special. Hope you get more paid gigs and keep playing.
I’ve been waiting for the Low Darts to put out something new since I found them last week, sick tune! - an 18 year old who’s always had a soft spot for Hall and Oates

Cool the drummer used a 3 piece kit.
You guys (and pretty lady!) continue to astound me!! You are my new favorite band. Period. End of conversation. Keep the magic going!!! ❤💙❤️
Seeing Gen Z kids play this great music from the 70s - and doing it really well - really warms my heart.
Exactly, their contemporaries are performing those nonsensical (c)rap songs. Gives me hope. Respect from an over seventy year old man.
You're covering the Masters. Steely, Dan. Hall and Oates, The Doobies rock on! Add the "Thanks" button your homepage.
I was born in 82 and ya’ll rock! Don’t stop believing ❤
Hold on to that feeling!🇨🇦
Just very good music from young people performing the original recording. Nothing but amazing. Please do more of old soft rock.
Yes, absolutely brilliant and beautiful cover. Keep it up!
My God, there IS hope for our future generations. Brilliant.
I know right?!?!
You all get better and better. This song brings back bitter sweet memories. Always enjoy your music and talent. Waiting to buy your first album!!

This was FREAKING INCREDIBLE!!!!
...74 was a good year...one thing you can say about Daryl is that he was all about selling it. Later towards the eighties his presence was really killer man. Amd 'man eater' and such just layed them in the isles..

Just made my day , thank you all. Spot on rendition of a classic .
Wow
You all should just go out on tour as a yacht rock band. You would sell out shows, big time.
Amazing, as always!!!
This one brought tears to my eyes! Thank you all!
I’ve seen a lot of these bands live and the sound and music is fantastic.
come on, who even owns an alto sax at age 17? This rendition was absolutely spot on, spectacular!!
I had an alto and a tenor at 17
In the video, it is a soprano saxophone
This song was a masterpiece when it was released by Hall and Oates. Now it is again.
Lovely and true comment- they all woek so hard collaborating 🎶🥰

Bravo 👏🏻 🎊 practice makes perfect ! Sounds very good ! Have a request the song, Sarah by Hall & Oates
You guys are all great but WOW the vocals are on point!!! That's critical for a tune like this.
Sydney killed the vocals on this
Love it!
Great job covering this timeless blue-eyed soul classic. I love it when young people appreciate the 70’s… my favorite period in music ..
This might be your most sensitive and nuanced one yet. The vocals, the sop sax, the ensemble -- all of it fantastic work.
Just discovered these guys on UA-cam, they are unbelievably good.......!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great taste😎
