A while back I did a video on some of the different Windows Phone startup screens. Since then, I managed to find several more boot screens which I have added into this video, in original quality extracted from the firmware.

I’ve got an Microsoft Lumia 550. I got it in 2019 as a spare phone. I was planning on upgrading from iPhone to a Nokia Lumia back in 2015 because i liked their phone designs but then had realised the operating system was not that good compared to iOS.

my little brother got a nokia lumia phone for £5 and it had a bsod when trying to startup, luckily i still have my old laptop and used the windows phone recovery app and it worked

You forget about the variations. Windows Phone 7 (as well as updates) and Windows phone 8 all have different boot screens.

No Using Windows device recovery till you can repair it, unless the boot loader is messed with that it’s useless, unless if you have access to the emmc

The 'big' logo is just the second stage but having loaded your selected zoom level. My 950 XL did this but the logo shrunk instead because I had a zoom level that was smaller than default.
