That’s an AMAZING point. Having I️t be this guy would have been way better. We all knew way before I️t was Jason Todd. Rocksteady dropped the balled and doubled down by lying pre-release.
It makes it so much lamer that Todd should’ve stayed dead and he already came back as another character to oppose Batman. So they use him again as a different character to oppose Batman, the Arkham Knight. So dumb.
Shame Lincoln March really didn’t go anywhere after court of owls storyline.

@@m.lanzoni9306 *I think whoever made the court of owls comic was depending on the shock factor than the full scale seriousness...I think the court of owls were villains meant to point out batman's flaws....Bruce is a scientology head, doesn't believe in rumors or myths and that was his slight main downfall...the idea drove him crazy that not just someone like the joker but NUMEROUS people that were part of the court including his own brother was able to fool him....they shocked him, made him believe his mind was the world like everybody else in gotham. Batman feels like he own gotham but in reality it was the court that ruled everything.....so it's not so much that Bruce's brother didn't get that much of an explanation it's just that dc has made us believe that batman is this unstoppable force with a high iq so big he defeated superman a couple of times. The court of owls message was that "You can't have justice without order"*

I have this idea where Earth-2 Thomas Wayne passes the mantle to Lincoln March and Jace Fox is robin. Maybe Bruce funds the Gotham Night and occasionally play Batman for Lincoln March but with a mask. Bruce is a very wealthy man. He and Lucius Fox share a role in Lincoln becoming the next Batman. Lincoln himself is a business partner and specializes in about as good as Death Stroke. Bruce has several adapted children including a few of his own and Damon, his youngest who help him run the Gotham Night Organization with Lincoln as the lead. The Court of Owls poison the well in a sense of big mobs, factions, Arkham monsters and gangsters being out of the picture but begin problems a new in Gotham and Bloodhaven bringing in the Nightwings…
They should've kept lincoln March around. He should have been the owlman of this earth. I can only imagine what he could have been like as a ultimate villian for Batman next to the joker .bane was good but he could have been better.
This is the new origin of Thomas Wayne, aka Lincoln March, but not the first. Near as I recall, (not fact checked, just memories from the 70's) the first introduction of "Thomas Wayne" (aka the "Boomerang Killer", aka "Lincoln March",) was in the Batman vs. Ras Al Ghul stories. But he's been re-introduced / ret-conned in several stories, shows, adaptations since.

If court of owls won’t be the villains for Matt Reeves 2nd Batman movie they have to at least build up to them and T.W. Jr. since we already know the Wayne’s aren’t the people everyone thought they were in the movie Matt could say Martha tried to cut Jr out of her stomach during a schizophrenic episode believing he was a insect

I'd rather prefer Matt Reeves' 2nd Batman movie to be what introduces Batgirl and even Dick Grayson as Robin, even have Bane be played by Kane

Imagine if after Bruce/Batman rejected Ras Al Ghul offer to lead the League of Shadows, Ra's Al Ghul made the same offer to Lincoln/Anti-Batman. Imagine Lincoln/Anti-Batman vs. Red Hood, interesting Personity's and Fight/Battle!
I think Ras would've settled for Lincoln because he really wanted Bruce so to stick it to Bruce he decides to train Lincoln. Ras would be using Lincoln as a tool he doesn't care about him he wanted Bruce.

This would be a good idea for the batman sequel It will introduce new characters and flush the law of Gotham beyond. You can have Bruce and new DA Harvey dent up against Lincoln marsh as his attends to take over Gotham City as mayor on behalf of the court of owls. befriending Bruce Wayne for his own personal motive. As Bruce is trying to Integrate the Wayne persona back into society. It would be good to have batman come cross Hugo strange as a point of interest of the past, a man who is a master of secrets a figurehead within the court of owls who did Unthinkable experiments for them. The created the conspiracy of a unknown child of the waynes former Head of the Arkham Asylum when Martha Wayne was there due her break down. He help raise Lincoln marsh and Alter ego the owl man with the help of the court of owls. Mr freeze would be the main Antagonist villain, created by the events of the previous movie. Victor Fries and his wife Nora, are experts in cryogenics contracted at the time Unknowingly for the court of owls on a metahuman project involving low temperatures. Victor is court in a freak accident during an experiment That took place in one of the locations that the Riddler had blown up, during the end of the previous movie. Mr freeze is motivated by revenge on the riddler which lead to the escape of all the prisoners from Arkham Asylum, at the end of the movie. Mr freeze is the casualty Of madness blaming batman for slowing him down which unknowingly putting Mr freeze's love one's life at risk who his trying to save by any means necessary. we could have Lincoln aka owl man attemp to kill Harvey dent who Uncovers the lie and the connection to Bruce Wayne and personal Vandetta against him but inturn Tragically becomes twoface character for the 3rd movie. The court of owls Try to amipulate Mr freeze as his the main villain As a smokescreen Or a false flag which helps Lincoln who is the big boss who is known as owl man the new champion of the court of owls.

I have to admit, I never really liked this character. A retconned in “Brother” (Who might not be .)? Laaaame! At least when they planned to make Bane Bruce’s brother , he was a new character.

In fact, Ra’s Al Ghul once read a file on Bane and when he got to who his father was he just burst out laughing (This was around the time that Ra’s and Talia were working with Bane . One of Bane’s earlier stories .).
