I'm fairly sure there's a Batman cowboy out there in some sort of multiverse issue of DC. I mean, there was a pirate Batman in the Justice League cartoon :D
@@Waauugh There was some event in the comics when Bruce was thought to be killed by darkseid but he had actually been travelling through time. Not sure but I think he was a cowboy in that once.

Let us all HELL StRiPpEr-PoLe Batman if we didn't have him to protect us then we be all dead. Soon universe 69 StRiPpEr-PoLe Batman will get his side-ChIcKs whOrE-wOnDeR when StRiPpEr-PoLe Batman adopted him.
The beanbag gun was a close second.
At the beginning of this video you see how they really capture the early essence of Batman. He nearly dies multiple times, he fails multiple times, and is vested time after time. But what makes Batman so compelling is that he never gave up in all of these and you see him learn and get better through the video.

Honestly, the Batman run is one of (if not) the best thing to come out of the New 52. It's definitely one of my most favorite lines from Batman as well!!! :)

Finally purged Gotham of crime, for a few minutes. Then the joker comes back, Arkham gets destroyed releasing everyone, and the teenage mutant ninja turtles kill dark side, and start a pizza company. Cause the writers got bored...

To be honest, this is my favourite Batman run. Scott Snyder did so well with Batman as a character without making him feel too out there. And what he did with the Joker was epic!!!
Alfred dropping to his knees. “THE OTHERS,, SOMEONE ELSE CAN DO IT. LET THEM BE THE HERO” Absolutely heartbreaking.
Court of Owls & Death of the family are 2 of the darkest & creepiest batman stories Snyder ever wrote. Snyder is a genius when writing Batman!

Ok can we just acknowledge how well Gordon did as Batman? Like that detective work on a foreign world completely on the spot was pretty nuts. As well as even knowing cyborg's abilities well enough to know he was capable of making a 3D rendering of that creature.
Ngl i felt rly sad when bruce became batman again like he finally got someone he loves without any darkness only for it to be lost again
to be fair Gordon has worked with Bruce for many years at this point - he would have had no choice but to consider Batman's way of thinking to be ahead of the police every time. adapting Batman's ideas into his own ideas for the police - the cyborg part i just assume Gordon have know about more heroes than just his owns cities one :P

The *New 52 Batman* run by Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo is honestly one of the best Batman runs in modern comics.
One of my personal favorites too.

@@ChaseRapoport11 Joker and Bruce's bodies were next to eachother and the dieonysium splashed onto Bruce which is how he was fully healed.I Both Batman and Joker had serious head injuries during the fight so If Bruce's brain was healed by the dieonysium getting into his skull then it would have done the same to Joker, whose body was right next to Batman's
I'm hoping there's some sort of connector series explaining the missing years where he gained his Robins among other things.

Superman lost his powers, so he was no longer on the league and without him and bruce there wasn't much connection between league members.

Wonder Woman got stuck in tarterus for a while also they have a series about it
Aquaman lost his throne and couldn't leave Atlantis (there's a full story)
Green Lantern was out in space or on the run without his ring (multiple full stories)
And IDK about Cyborg and Flash

Honestly it’s amazing how they showed Batman as so inexperienced and green. It’s just cool to see his beginnings where he’s not Batman quite yet. In fact he loses most fights with anyone who’s above average at fighting. But he’s still clever, he’s still a master of combat, and one day he’ll be able to stand up to gods as The Batman. While he is not yet THE Batman you can tell that he’s at least a prototype

Why does it jump from court of owls to death of the family what happened to when he cut his face off
He cut his face before the new52.
And you don’t actually see him do it. He has Hugo’s son cut it off for him. Then kills the young doctor, and disappears for several years. The attack on the police station is actually a successful attempt to retrieve his face from police custody.
