I had one of these shape fiestas as my first car 10 years ago. A week after I passed my test I rear ended another car in stop start traffic because I’m an idiot. Got out and exchanged details (very minor damage). Got back into my car and it wouldn’t start. People in the traffic helped me push it off the road. I rang my mum who luckily is also a petrol head in a panic telling her what happened. Straight away she said “check behind the glove box for a fuel kill switch!”
Boom there it was and it started straight away. Every day is a school day 😂

That’s Brilliant Kev, can’t say for sure but that car may had been a friend of my sister he sadly no longer here now been gone since 2012 he had a Focus ST after the Fiesta.

Who would ever thought the fuel cut off switch would be the issue well done Kev it was good to see inside the dashboard and the interior was exactly the same as my MK6 Fiesta apart from the Seats. I did really love mine had it for 3 Years 2016-2019 but I was just ready to move on to the MK2 Ford Focus which I love even more.

Wow! That thing must have been the deal of the century. Just click a button to get it running again once you'd done some fault-finding, the rest is just cosmetic damage and regular maintenance items. Wow.

My late Farther had a MK2 Discovery it broke down and it was the fuel shut off like yours, Well done, the engine sounds sweet
I suppose your only other thing is too chuck it on the OBD Scanner and read/resolve any codes that are there.

When you got it running before 8 minutes I did wonder what else you were doing to do in the video.
I had a similar problem on my Defender on an off road site, but it took a mate to suggest the fuel cut off and hey presto it started up again.
A nice tight box.. That's what everyone likes..

I went over a camber in the road in one of my 414's and it cut power to the fuel pump...switch was behind the stereo...happy days

Tips;
1. Always check sparks each of cylinder.
2. There some relay behind battery and if you follow red positive battery and there hidden fuse.
3. Chrome cap covers is just sticker you can take off but its best to sell it since people might want it if you don't like it

Can't honestly believe that😂 never even knew something like that existed.. knowledge is power 😂
These are actually a chain driven engine. No belt. Also They are known for giving different oil level readings everytime.. but there is a way of doing it.
If the box is too heavy then its the gearbox linkage.. known for getting heavy when the links are expanding/siezing etc. just need to re drill the shifter plate hole

Wow.. what a result.. hope previous owner not watching, they'll be well pi55ed off... one think to check is to make sure there isn't a remap on there... and if so decide it you're going to keep it or pull it back to factory map..

Being a mechanic I have had this happen to customers with these fiesta. Easy fix if you know it is there.
oh wow id be highly delighted with that good resale value on the ST150 although id keep it great wee cars
