You were like a kid in a sweet shop on the test drive segment!
‘It wasn’t as straight forwards as I thought it was gonna be’
Something I often say !
Well done Kev i havedone this plenty of times in the past. Being 88 yrs now It is so nice to see how you do things as this brings back so many things that i have done.
That was brave with the ramps lol
Was thinking that myself whilst watching it lol
And some farmers wife will be thinking, "Is that our John out in his tractor again or some of them Rat Runners showing off?" when all the time its our Kev, showing off his refurbished wee car.
Yes finally a UA-cam that has listened to me lol sounds beautiful mate
great news kev keep it coming mate look forward to the next one soon cheersssssssssssssssssss lol
I bought one of these as my first car and then had a Corsa vxr the st was still my favourite and would defo get one again and again
Lovely motor now Looking forward to the next video! Keep them coming, thanks Kev
She sounds great. Can’t wait to see the next one. Keep up the hard work and thanks for sharing this with us take care
Sounds awesome! Thanks for sharing. Can't wait for the next part. Take care.
Impressive Kev sounds a treat. Well done with what you have to work with, not easy on a gravel driveway.
That is one sweet little motor :-) Good to see she finally has a full MOT on her and that exhaust well that's just the icing on the cake ;-)
Nice one Kev, brought back so many memories of my teenage years, crawling under cars on ramps !
Many happy Sunday mornings spent tinkering with my Vauxhall Viva HB 😂👍❤️
You have a lovely pocket rocket there Kev and happy it's gone so good so far. Fair play to Trent salvage for sponsoring the car and some parts and look forward to seeing this ST in her former glory, or as near as. Well done mate.
Great video kev pleased to see the car on the road and you enjoyed driving it well done for the hard work you have done to it so far
Fantastic job, Kev keep the two blogs going.
Great video Kev, respect to you for tackling that on your drive with just ramps
It's really nice to see you've got it back on the road. I had one for 2 months shy of 10 years and it was great, but it started drinking oil so got rid of it in 2019 and bought a '17 Focus ST mk3. I have an aluminium gear knob if you want it. Great job 👍
Well done Kev, sounds and looks great , keep up the excellent videos!
Gotta say I'm loving the ST build mate, I got mine about 2 months ago. Plan on doing these bits to mine. Love the driving vids too planning start my class 2 soon 🙂
Nice to see it on the road kevtee nice little car be even better once the wheels are done and valeted keep up the good work
I loved how excited you were like a kid at Christmas 😃
As always Kev absolutley brilliant
Great to see,I had a 2007 one in the performance blue
Hi Kev, love u® ST, i have one exactly the same. It's off the road atm but watching ur upgrades i'm gonna get her firing again, i have the exhaust done and i really miss that sound you enjoyed so much. I love my ST and i'm never selling it!
Sounds amazing! Have fun with the car, Kev! :D
Well done mate, sounds great, and that huge grin. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Glad to see that car back on the road and she is running sweet I love my fords so in my element lol
I'd have done the O2 sensor while i was under there faffing, just for the sake of it
must say, that fiesta has knocked 25 years off your age .. like a teenager again with a new toy
Good work man. Yes is nice sound!
Kev,
That little Ford fiesta st sounds absolutely amazing mate
Kev, got the Fiesta ST3 20 reg last July. Best car and fastest by a country mile, I've ever owned Love it. Huge fun.
Nice one Kev. Thanks. 👍
Bossin on the drive, old school. Great content
Looking forward to seeing your next car salvage collection on Sunday evening and hope you are staying safe and well
Nice purr outta that little kitten Kev, wowzers indeed given it was heading for scrap, nice one
Sounds great cracking little car well done
As a trucker ,,I love your vids 👍👍
Sounds awesome keV mate 👌👌👌
Sounds nice with that exhaust 👍👍
Cars turning out lovely thankfully was saved from the scrap pile. 👌👍
looking deservedly smug in the last part and deservedly so
great video pal I'll look forward to the next one
Great video and you have done a fab job mr tee I remember the old fiesta XR2 s not the same car but just as fun to drive great project and its good that you saved this lovely car
Loved the old XR2 and I think thE ST150 is the best modern equivalent, lightweight and normally aspirated with a few creature comforts unlike the heavier, turbo modern ST.
Well.done car looking and sounding good
Now we know what ST stands for, makes Kev Smile Tons!
Hi Kev hope you are staying safe and hope you are having a good weekend and looking forward to seeing your video today when it comes out
well done Kev, luv it mate enjoy it.
Fantastic news kevtee awesome
Great channel Keep up the good work
That sounds great
Think you be keeping this Kev seeing that smile on your face. Lucky a different Trents driver wasn’t sent to pick it up.
Got one my self pal love it keep going it will get better 👍keiron
Great vid kev good job on the car or the road legal go kart as that's what they feel like with their handling
Definitely one for the Queensway Tunnels in Brum ;-)
Awesome kev 👍
Hi kev what a great video again thanks take care 😊👍🏻
Love it kev.
Another great video Kev 🚙 popping 😀👍
Sounds good kev I, d keep that as my daily runner
That light saphire blue Focus mk1 in your add. I neeeeeeeeed the n/s wing badly 😂😂
Hi Kev that’s great that the s t is now fully road legal for another 12 months
ooo yes love that rasp
That's such an epic rescue car! Can't believe it almost got scrapped
KevTee > KevTruck > KevRacer. Kev are doing the evolution! 😂
Kevs got a new weekend toy 😆
Love a Milltek. Have you seen my video of my ST150 which I remove the resonator? As it sounds so good now.
Can't wait till my little Fiesta gets these sorts of views on the channel 😁
The st sounds really good well done and looks like it goes really well as well and have you found your next project yet then
so cool🎉
Good Wednesday evening to you sir from wellington Somerset
6:58, reversing lights weren’t working Kev.... but she sounds great mate 👍🏻🚗💨💨💥💥
Some of your best content Kev - love it, and great to see a modern-classic out of the scrap yard and back doing what it should (smile) on the road!
Re revamping the cars, what's your deal with Trent's? Like many I'm normally not too keen on in-content adverts, but this sems wholly appropriate and shows off the best of Trent's capabilities to trade and public. I assume the car you bought at employee cost, and also the parts that you used form Trent's? So hence is it your profit when sold, or ... what about a charity raffle? Whatever the costs and logistics, great content - Thank You Kev - Good Luck!
Thank you Ian, glad your enjoying the content.
Yes I paid Trents what the car owed them + a bit of promotion and parts are donated to the project, it's a perfect collaboration 👌
Whatever the car sells for will go towards funding the next project 👍
@@KevTee Thanks Kev - well done on making it a self-financed project, as well as highlighting Trent's capabilities. Really love that little Fiesta - ideal project car. In fact liked it so much, took at look/got tempted on Trent's website - may be soon. Good Luck, keep up the original and special mix stream of videos - trucks and spanners, viewing doesn't get any better!
Tips: Sport cat or standard cat is legal. Sport cat is same as factory but better flow
It was a cat delete
@@tonyford7987 I know, I want help him since he is new to modding the vehicle
When it's all done and finished you could auction it to Channel subscribers, at 10-00 a ticket - you would set a sensible reserve, and any profits after sales could go to a charity!
The one dislike is probably from the bloke who scrapped it ! Ha,Ha.
there's two now, other must be his missus
@@amogrows probably the neighbours!
@@andypeebles2242 few more now, might be the people's houses he drove past on the down shift
6 now - him, the wife, and the four kids Tarquin, Tamara, Timmy and Tom 😂
@@sammytheseal2307 8now, him, the wife, tarquin tamara timmy tom and two cousins tamas and tomas
Now all your neighbours can watch you hooning in your ST as if your having a mid life crisis LOL. I'm nearly there, turned 47 in Jan. Time to get a Rolls or an '80's Jag. Guy up the road has a 1973 MGB and across the way someone has a Harley or something.
Maybe the broken spring was the cause of the fuel cut of operating ... one bump and much no go ness. Love the videos!
You might be right there!! Passenger front spring was snapped, inertia switch is in the glovebox
It must've gone with a bang judging by how the spring jumped out of place!
Good shout, I would never have thought of that!
Need a fusion fabrication inlet manifold next 👍
Well done Kev for saving that little Fiesta, that would of been a travisty if that car had of been scrapped.
"I had to cut 8 inches off to put it in the cat 🐱🐈"
Kevin!!!! 😂😂😂
Oh no, sorry that's me exaggerating it now 😂😂
I think I need to get me a Fiesta ST now. Looks fun!! 😁
Oh trust you Sammy 😂😂
It's great on the back roads mate, proper little pocket rocket 👌
@@KevTee Sounds great 😁
Oh and you can always rely on me to come up with something while twisting your words 😉😂
Cor excellent
you could do with a quicklift BL-3500SLX
Sounds like my 1.6 1989 mx5 sounded with all the pops and burbles. Love it. What’s the steering feel like on these?
Really good link for trents well do and how is it going in your new truck
I'm 40 and had my ST150 for 3 years now, great fun wee car for getting to work and back and having fun on the roads at the weekend. I have same springs as you. What exterior mods are you planning? TRC? Maxton?
Think i could hear that all the way in Australia your becoming a Yobbo Hoon
First lower your car ... saved a few pennies there using used stainless love the floor mats great idea saves the pebble massage
Kev it may not be a 300hp hyper hatch but 150hp in a car that weighs just over 1000kg its more than enough to make it a fun car to drive
No timing belt to change either ,2.0 got a chain same engine as Mondeo 2.0 ,keep oil clean and filter ,job done
I think a series like this should be called something like scrap car challenge like a play on the TV show scrapyard challenge if anybody rembers that
kev take it to quite ats on a saturday put it on a ramp they will do it for beer money
Know how you feel about the jack problem, when i lowered mine i took it off the axle stands and when i dropped it down, the jack got stuck under the car. had to use the little bit of wiggle room to raise it back up one cm at a time.
Great sounding car Kev well worth the hard work you put into it. Also could you please tell me where you got your interlocking rubber mats from. Kind regards Alan.
Thanks Alan and there just cheap floor tiles from Halfords 👍
Kev, nothing ever goes to plan when working on cars lol
What did you do on your day off Kev?
Drove a car up and down some miniature ramps.
That sounds mint! Would a remap be on the cards? Have a look on remap kings and just out your plate in and it'll tell you the power gains! I reckon it'll go from around 140 to about 150
Thanks Luke, I've been considering a stage 1 map 👍
@@KevTee I just had a look on remap kings and it says you'd go up to 160hp and around 200nm!
total chav territory now Kev!! yeah exhausts are usually in 3 or 4 sections or certainly on old cars, think the fiesta mark 1 and 2 was the only car to have 1 or two sections, unless you looked at a high performance car or the original Fiat 500.
Always a chav at heart mate 😂
greetings all good cheeeeeeeeeerrsssssssssss
I've just scrapped my fiat grande, trents said £5 pick up from Burnley lol
I'm surprised at you, Kev! All the kit you have, and no decent pit or body-lift, to save you grovelling about on your back underneath things! :-)
It's on the shopping list 👍
