  • Today we're going to talk about controlling high blood pressure, 10 high sodium foods to avoid. Now, when I ask most of my patients if they have a high salt diet, they usually say, "No, I hardly even add salt to my food." But what most people don't know is that most of the salt that we eat comes from pre-packaged foods and from restaurants.

The worst things someone can do to their body is to cut on salt and drink more water.
Eat as much as you want, but only sea salt or himalayan salt.
Sodium has nothing, nothing, to do with high blood pressure or heart problems.

My blood pressure is coming down from 220/100 to 150/ 87, body weight dropped from 98 kilograms to 76, cases to bathroom at night dropped from 8 to 2 trips. I've noticed over time that alot of vegetarian food options whether it was at a vegetarian restaurant or vegetarian grocery foods were either extremely high or somewhat higher in sodium. So although it might be meatless the sodium content makes it off limits for those with hbp. Keep that in mind.

I need to put into practice (for single people) on the go who need to avoid unwanted salt in our diets. How can I do that? Our food industry is based on giving us what we want, but they know darn well they're killing us. I need to escape this narrative to live a healthy long life through smarter eating choices. Men don't know how to properly create "meal plans" that will save our lives that will keep us alive and well for our families. Please show me HOW to do this! Thanks, Dr. Frita. This was awesome! I have been losing weight and eating better foods to drop weight and to lower my blood pressure. 2 months ago I started avoiding many of the foods you mentioned; especially the fried foods and the pre-packaged foods. So far I have got rid of 20 lbs and I feel much better. Glad I found your channel. Blessings!

@@lifestylewithpaige Hi! It has been great! I lost (or as I say, "got rid of") 57lbs and counting! I change my caloric intake. I eat 400-500 calories 2x a day. I eat at 12p.m. (snack on fruit, peanuts, raisins, salad etc.) in between and dinner at 6 p.m. I may eat another healthy snack no later than 8pm so, I am mixing my meals with intermittent fasting. Just google "500 calorie meals" and go for it. I feel great and EVERYONE has been asking me; "What are you doing?" I use to weigh 300lbs now I am down to 243lbs, and down from a size 3xl-4xl in shirts to 1xl and from a 50-52 inch waist in pants to 42 inches.

Jesus too depended on God and asked him, cried to him, and said: "Elli Elli Lama Shabakhtani" Oh God Almighty (which you call him as heavenly father), why Though Hast Forsaken me????

In addition to all the weight it can pack on you, it can also cause hypertension. Please also note the calories contained in cheese. That's why macaroni and cheese is not a wise food choice, or at least eat on small portion.very rarely.
