I reallly liked the babysitting episode and felt sad about Spartan CAL. I wish 343 could include a DLC in halo infinite or may be in the campaign level where in the end all the spartan including the spartan 1337 from one of the episode from halo legends will come together and fight cortana or whoever be the main villian in the game
I don't know who made the Sacred Icon Suite(II), but whoever did it, bravo. That's how you compose Halo music.

Finally a comment section where there are no arguments between Bungie or 343, a place where we can all just relax and share our love for halo. Personally I'm a huge lore buff and having taken orchestra classes for 5 years now I have learned to appreciate the story a soundtrack can tell.

I enjoyed forward unto dawn but nightfall fell short.
So many good stories in these shorts, I felt the most sorry for Daisy. She didn't even get a chance to live a happy life, but at least master chief found her after she died and acknowledged her sacrifice.
This makes me like halo even more
even after nearly a decade i can still see and hear all of these beautiful pieces of animation and art.
halo will and always been near and dear to my heart.
when i younger, master chief was the only role model i could look up to.. because he never gave up even if it was the easy thing to do.
just the see and hear the hope he'll bring to people made me believe that there was hope too
Halo will always hold a special place in my heart. I love the lore and assembly of this franchise in its previous years. Spartan -023 will always, undoubtedly, be my favorite characters of all time.

Dear god I hope they use some of these tracks in Infiinte. They clearly took inspiration from the armour already...
I hope a part of the halo infinite ost is like this. Builds onto the themes marty made and expresses them in new ways for the context of the story. Definitely seeing that with what we've seen so far and hope it hits the same goose bumps these tracks do.
Go to the official halo channel and listen to some of the tracks. They actually sound pretty good and do a good job of respecting the original halo music. It’s by the same composer who made the music for ori and then kind forest

What people don't get about Halo is that it isn't just a video game. It's the best music I've ever heard. It's an inspiring story about courage and sacrifice and never giving up. Humanity fought to its last breath, struggling in a war that was sure to end them, never stopping, and because of that they prevailed. The books are some of the coolest ones I've ever read. It's made me pay more attention to the stars at night. Halo isn't just something we do so we can shoot aliens and have fun. Halo is a surreal universe that we're all lucky to have.
How is it that an animated / anime series of Halo did a better job at reimagining the Halo soundtrack than Halo's 4 and 5 by 343?!

Every few years I rediscover this video and listen to it all. Halo had such an impact on me personally during some of my most formative years, that when listening to it's music I can't help but become overly nostalgic for that time. I'm happy that so many share this feeling. Love from AUS

For the LONGEST time I thought this was the actual soundtrack for Halo Origins in Legends. Just found out right now that's not the case. A slow clap applause and a hat tip to you sir for tricking me for so long. ;)

The memories you get when listening to these songs are so... I remember when I was a kid. I grew up with this games and these games helped me get a friend when I was younger. Me and this guy thats currently my best friend of 8 years now always played Halo. We would stay up for nights even. We would always run home after school and go ahead and play it. We always talked about Halo like rly 24/7. It's been soo long since I first played it but I enjoy as much as it was my first time playing it. I really wish that more people would play this game since it's so good. Like the story. The gameplay. Everything in this game makes you just wanna play more and more and more untill you have to leave for school or work. If they would only let pc players and ps3 players play Halo it would be much bigger then what it is now.

My favorite video game franchise ever, truly a work of art
I think a big reason why we all like this music so much more than that of Halo 4 is because we've been hearing this for years since Combat Evolved came out and through all that time a collection of memories and associations have built up around it. When we hear this music we think of all the good times we had playing the old games and the emotions we felt. The Halo 4 music is just out of the box, we have no associations with it, we have never heard it before other than in-game. Give it time.
I cannot simply Thank you enough for putting such an awesome video with such marvelous masterpieces put togheter.

Halo: Legends OST - High Charity Suite 2
Every time I listen to all these songs, I think about humanity's hard struggle against the Covenant, to never forget, to never lose hope, and keep forging on, no matter what stands in your way.
Not to mention the original Halo music didn't really start to become loved until Halo 2 when more tracks were incorporated and we had more associations to connect with. It hasn't even been a month and yet people are already condemning Halo 4 for its mechanics, story line, and musical tracks. All of these things will grow on us with time and that's all we need to give it.
the Halo universe simply has provided us with the most epic soundtrack, in my opinion. the most inspiring songs i have ever heard anywhere, let alone in video games.

I wasn't a huge fan of Legends, but the soundtrack, as Halo's always are, was legendary.
11:29 Is my favorite version of the song. I obviously love the more emotional versions a lot too, but there's just something about that epic rendition that gives me the chills every time I hear it. I really hope Marty O'Donnell returns for Infinite! Halo hasn't had the same feel without his iconic music.
a game that created a universe, a game that created an unbelievable soundtrack, that one game skyrocketed Halo into what is now a massive, epic, and growing world.... how many games can say they have done that?

Good fucking Jesus Christ really really miss how Halo felt before five ruined everything and infinite didn't make it better God I just want Halo to be Halo again I miss how holy and strong everything about the franchise felt back then from the games to books to toys to machinimas to movies just everything that involve Halo and now it feels tainted and I just can't bring myself to play Halo games from the past anymore I'm just so burned out it's also the same thing for gears as well I just hope one day they can be what they once were and everytime I listen to this the sadness of nostalgia takes over then I just want to cry cause I miss the good times guys missing the times when Xbox was Xbox hopefully we'll have more of those days again to feel satisfied to be happy!
