So sorry to hear about your situation Adam, I can relate. You have made the right decision to keep the clean title car going forwards. DVLA are becoming a right pain now in regards to re-shells and q plates. They now want to see an invoice from Ford for the shell. Absolute nightmare! I’m lucky mine is still on the original shell with all the docs etc. Going through the same crap and trying my best to hold onto the car ❤
I don’t think it will, he’s clearly having to sell it as it’s part of a separation to give half the money to his ex.. personally I’d sell it on paper to a parent for next to nothing and keep it that way.
I wouldn't of said so , if I was in the same position my saff would be gone asap , put the money towards a new home etc , his little girl can't come over for the weekend and sleep in an old Sierra ... that's how I'd see it anyway 👍🏼

I've just had to sell my MK6 Golf R after 7 years of ownership and was a car I wanted to keep until it became a future classic to start a new venture and I'm absolutely gutted, so god knows how you must be feeling.
