Super Polymerization is better than Ultra Polymerization though, since Super can use your opponent's monsters as material and is a quick- play spell.

Seems like it could work well with The First Darklord - Untargetable, now also indestructible, 4k piercing beatstick with the potential to blow up your opponent's field and support your other Darklords.
Yeah I think this will make using The First Darklord much more viable, since otherwise you're forced to use Super Poly or the trap card, and this offers it protection, so it won't be going anywhere easily outside of Kaijus, Lava Golem, Sphere Mode, or something bigger than it.

@@blackwinggamer6676 . . . how ? at best you play 1 highly searchable and freely discardable brick that at least has the archetype name to support other darklords with, at worst you play a bunch more cards to try to make the big fusion and your deck bricks even more than it did when uko didn't exist
@@Marcusjnmc Because searching/dumping the trap is mostly a waste, you'd rather be searching/dumping Contact, Banishment, Rebellion, or Enchantment, not to mention wasting either LP or a Darklord on the field/in hand to activate it. You can use Predaplants to search any of the Polys, and you can then use those Predaplants for either Verte Anaconda (who can also use said Poly cards), or even something like XYZ Break Sword to pop something on the field. Plus Greater Poly protects the monster it summons, which helps the Fusion not die instantly to literally any destruction effect. A close to unbreakable monster, able to recur other Fairies (Darklords) in the GY? Plus, adding the Predaplants isn't exactly hurting your consistency too much. They're still Allure targets, and you only play a couple of other Normal Summons in the deck, which is Ukoback and Indulged. Plus, Scorpio is a great way to pitch Superbia, or to get one more Dark or Fairy monster in the grave for Zerato or Krystia.

@@deathancompany9249 its not good in either deck. You never lose with those decks because you lack protection or piercing. you lose because too many negates destroy your gameplan,and this card doesnt change it.
There's gonna be a lot of Greater Poly gimmick decks that use some obscure fusion to make an unbeatable weird monster. I can feel it.

this is such a bad way of thinking sbout the game. Its not a "could I" question, its a "is it reasonable" question. And it is most definetely NOT reasonable to go -5 to summon FHD

@@Ballslover18 I do not now if Ancient Gears would actually use this card, as they already have protection in the form of Fortress (also Chaos Giant is unaffected by Spell/Trap effects, so 2 of 3 card types are useless against him), as well as Ultimate Golem and Chaos Giant have already piercing damage.
Five Headed Dragon already has battle immunity against all but LIGHT monsters. Now with this card it's on a whole new level.

@Matias z I wouldn't say "not impressive" since that's still an overkill OTK in any era, it's just that the destruction protection would usually only be running for a few seconds per Duel as it helps you push for game. 😂
The only question is, how to reliably search out all 3 Limiter Removals in every Duel?

I wish it was treated as "Polymerization", Vyon or Black Sheep can turn powerful monsters into basically Chaos Max minus the double piercing.
So you're telling me that if I use this card to fusion summon Chaos Ancient Gear Giant, essentially the only way to get rid of the card would be through battle, tributing it, or a monster effect that doesn't "destroy"?

but frightfur is "regular poly" the deck, and going minus four to get a bit of unsearchable protection isnt good. like, at all. Play Safe Zone at this point, smh

I gotta agree here. Use cases are slim and hard to pull off but the effects it gives are nice so long as they are not redundant.
Meaning, you Really Need Specific Fusion Monsters to get the Biggest Benefit of this thing... I already posted a list in that regard, but even so, there are some really terrible Fusion monsters in Awful decks. Making this deck a Card a HARD sell in that mind.
Thunder Dragon Titan, Quintet Magician or Five-headed Dragon were the first BIG targets I could think of.

Quintet already has destruction protection. It also has the effect to destroy all your opponents cards on the field which defeats the point of piercing damage.
That’s like saying your opponent can’t have card-effect-destruction-protected monsters on his/her field. Having Piercing is not a minus.
Five-headed dragon is about to make a huge comeback
I feel like Greater Poly would easily make that one Prank-Kids Fusion that requires one of each.

@@xm_heecka.laddder.job_mx5962 cards are not good or bad in a void. Infinite Impermanence sucks in a format of all normal monsters, but nowadays its the best card in the game. And greater poly sucks to use: there is more consistent optios AND more powerful options, and neither see play. If you want protection and piercing in blue eyes, Chaos max is faster, more searchable, has more protection and is less of a minus.

This is pretty cool. I love when Konami gives us generic new cards to play around with. It incentives unique deck building and not just blind net decking
(I don’t have a problem with net decking as a whole, it’s how new ideas spread. But I hate when players will net deck the best deck without putting any thought into it other than “it’s the best deck”)
Honestly, I'm surprised. But considering that there is No Anime for the TCG to Follow that has the old-flavored Card designs in mind compared to YGO Sevens, They are literally just Legacy Supporting the Shit out of Yugioh, and honestly, that's for the best, cause I wouldn't want another Extra Deck card to come along and start Revamping the game AGAIN, screwing up the field or adding a Double-Sided Card or some other strange design that further disrupts the Game Design and otherwise just breaks the system. We already have enough to look after, we don't need anymore variables.
This is meant for the new lvl 9 fusion that needs a synchro, xyz and a link.
I guess plant combo in an Halq deck could make that work

Can't. Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon is a fusion or contact fusion of two Blue-Eyes White Dragons. Greater Poly requires 3 or more monsters to use but still Blue-Eyes Twin Burst is an amazing card! ^^

Yes. There are 2 archetype.
Polymerization = Yuugo
Fusion = Fusion
Example Card.
Future Fusion belongs to both "Polymerization" and "Fusion" archetype.

As a Shaddoll fan...seeing a fusion spell this good that I can't use for in-archetype fusions...hurts. Good card, just...it doesn't work with my deck (unless they spit out new shaddoll fusions in the near future.)

This card will make Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon even more useable, especially certain others that need a benefit nowadays. I like it.
The First Darklord might be good with this since it only has targeting protection and doesn't have piercing.

most of the time you dont lose with fluffal because Tiger isnt protected or because you lack piercing damage. you lose because they negate everything. this card does not fix that

Issue if its name was always treated as "Polymerization" would be that if you wanted to run both you'd be limited to 3 copies among two different cards just like the old harpie lady "support" was. No running 2 Polymerization and a couple of these in that scenario.

im glad this is not treated as polymerization, imagine all the jank people would pull. 1 -2 turns in and you're facing 2-3 monster(s) that can't be destroyed, inflict piercing plus any of the monster(s) other effects. it was smart of konami, and i feel weird even saying they did something smart.

The First Darklord, Cyberdark Dragon, Five God Dragon, Arcana Knight Joker, Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon (And perhaps Neo), Gem-Knight Lady Brilliant, Phantasm Emperor Trilojig, Destiny HERO Dominance, E-HERO Core, Trishula, the Dragon of Icy Imprisonment, Myutant Ultimus, and finally... Prank-Kids Battle Butler. Not the best list, not even a Complete one. But certainly it gives a nice understanding of what fusion monsters this card can be used on. That in and of itself is enough.
