looks cool, but i hope they do a better job of audio mixing in their final film. several times i couldn't understand what she was saying, because levels were off between here & the music/sound effects.
A lot was inspired by Prometheus and Scorn. Icy landscapes are like from the WoW Lich King trailer. The woman is inspired by Lilith from Diablo, her Cape definitely. The DNA scene is like taken from Prometheus. This is either gonna be like smth very cool or a complete mishmash disaster
i was thinking the exact same thing. with a little starcraft queen of blades mixed in
Some Warframe (Lotus-style narration) and Fallout in there too (ghoul-esque enemies) IMO.
I don't want to detract from the effort the people who made this put into it... but the fact that they so blatantly lifted a *lot* of iconic imagery from other works and didn't really do much to change the presentation of those shots means that this thing's gonna be a hot mess.
The reason those things they borrowed from were so iconic was because they were thoughtful and purpose in their execution and direction; but this almost feels like a kid playing with legos and going "wouldn't it be cool if Goku fought Superman?!" It's gonna feel like a mismash of stuff because that's what it is.
I also saw here Sarah Kerrigan from StarCraft. and Resident Evil on 3:40
The things you can do with the Unreal Engine are amazing. An incredible product that continues to get better.

Wow... This looks very promising. I hope they don't disappoint... Whatever this IS... I think it's a game trailer... I love the homage to Starcraft's Kerrigan and the Prometheus feels... and a ton of others. It looks WAY better than most of the "movies" that Dummywood has put out recently. Just hope it's not an outrageous $ tag and disappointing gameplay.

The voice actress for Kerrigan sounded too much like an antsy teenager than an Alien Overlord. People forget - some of us can feel the emotion in a voice actor when they talk so just script reading don't fly.
