    This is such important work, Damon, Thank you for sharing this. To your point, being 'told' to simply 'love myself more' does not help. What you are teaching helps.

    Interesting pattern for me the past seven years: I stumble into life-changing experiences, then research to find out wtf just happened. This identity shift is something that I realize I have done purposefully, naturally a few times in my life; then again recently. Coming across a keystone video like this shows me my intuition is on-point. Blessed to experience some of these things first, then figure it out. Maybe it's just confirmation bias? Don't care. Surfing the wave.

      How exactly did you change your thought patterns that are subconscious

    • @ingmarslomic8348
      @ingmarslomic8348 25 днів тому

      @@bluered5527 I took actions that led to transformative identity shifts. I don't know about my subconscious, but I have experienced things in life then later found people describing it exactly. The notion that you can / should (?) actively do it. For years I always wanted to skydive, one day I tried it, a few years later I quit my job and moved to Florida. I was a skydiver for a while. All I did was go for a skydive but it ended up being an identity formation for about ten years of my life.

    • @DamonCart
      @DamonCart  Місяць тому +1

      It's called a virtual whiteboard. It's rather cumbersome though. You would probably do better with an iPad that has a whiteboard app on it.

    how to become more certain about what we value, then what if we can't name the value that we are experienced that is important to us. literally my mind changes while watching your videos if i stop watching your videos my old negative pattern continuous any solution

    • @DamonCart
      @DamonCart  2 місяці тому

      To gain more certainty, you'll need to do more than just listen to my videos. You will need to do a values elicitation on what you want. I offer a free PDF on how to do this. You'll find it in the description of any of my videos on values. Once you know your values, you'll need to take action on those values. Experience will give you more clarity than thinking or writing can ever give you. In other words, all you need to do is start going down the path. You'll be happy you did.

    For every well-founded belief, there is an un-founded faith in a belief. I think that's how the saying in NLP goes. 😊 please correct me if I'm wrong.

      That's how UA-cam works. They put ads on the videos unless you get Premium.

    • @andrem1937
      @andrem1937 15 днів тому

      @ I appreciate that… and great job with the content. As an end user, I am just providing feedback for your benefit. I understand that you want to make money however when there are to many advertisements it discourages the consumer to watch to the end which ultimately harms the creator. As you probably are aware watch time is very important to the algorithm and is as factor whether UA-cam decides to promote your video or not. Just a thought - you might make more money if you provide a more enjoyable experience, with less ads, for your client/ end user. I come in peace. Again - solid content!

      Lemme throw you a big bone. NLP is public domain. All the classical tech is in pdf form and available freely online. Modern coaches take the old tech and modify it with modern social constructs to make it more digestible for today's sensibilities. NLP is always ever evolving and you'll find forks and branches of it in sales groups, spiritual communities, psychotherapy circles, hypnosis groups, etc.
      Damon and other modern coaches sell their time and attention to help initiates understand and internalize the info that's basically already freely available, and they put their own spin on the tech to personalize it because that's what any good NLP coach worth their salt should be doing.
      If I were a coach I would put my computer and tech knowledge as a spin on the NLP stack and sell people on how to "program good habits" or "the emotional reboot", or "identify mental malware". Because as I started messing with the techniques those were the best metaphors I could come up with for what I was doing for myself.
      Since all coaches have to sell is their time and attention, along with their personalized flavor of training, Damon uses youtube videos as a way to tell stories and build the precursors necessary for good live group interactions. He's using popular NLP techniques in this video, but to the uninitiated, that would be hard to see. If you want demonstrations of different tech, look for some of the coaching recordings that he and other coaches have graciously deminstrated and made available for free, you get to see the secret sauce in action and see how many unlimited variations of the tech are available.
