    Hello Josh, I enjoyed your video. The first time I held a Tatula reel I purchased it, that was back in 2014. I've since added 10 more of various types/sizes and gear ratios to my collection. It is by far the best baitcasting reel I've ever owned. Thanks for putting out great videos and Tight Lines my friend...

    Enjoyed your video, Josh. I have two 100's and one 200. I messed with the factory spool tension on my first 100, (didn't read instructions thoroughly) and had an awful time getting it reset. Other reels just like you, mag brake adjustment and LOVE the way they respond and work. I've used Daiwa fishing reels for over 40 years

    I own an Abu Garcia Revo STX, a Shimano Curado DC and the 13 Fishing Concept Z. All significantly more expensive reels than the Tatula. Tatula 100HSL is my newest reel and immediately dethroned the Curado as my favorite reel. Casts so well, so comfortable, so smooth. I was able to pitch, flip and full on cast 3/16 oz lures with ease. LOVE IT!

      I own about 5 lews reels, ranging from low to high end. Not the ti. But anyways. Hands down this is my favorite reel. I have the tatula 150hsl.. smoother then smooth is an understatement. No matter what I always backlash with my lews atleast once or twice and that's even after using them from about 3 years.. not one on the tatula on my first day. Absolutely love it. Probably going to get the steez next I think.

    This is why UA-cam is so good... Soooo, I just won this exact rod in a giveaway and thought to myself, "I could've sworn ol Josh and Hunter did a review of this I think" so I got to watch some people I actually already watch explain this rod to me. It's different when you watch people you know, than when you watch some random person. The believability is different

    Nice reel bought two in different ratios, they cast very well until you try to throw buzz baits for whatever reason they tend to fluff during the slight change in wind. swaped the reel for a lews custom and had no issues with the buzz baits.

Hunter ties on a Ned rig on it over the weekend and I laughed and said you are never gonna be able to cast that he said bet me and sure enough he did and even flipped it and pitched it was crazy. A good all around line not sure what you will be using I would recommend a 12 pound monofilament line that would be good for about anything kinda middle of the road. But Yo-Zuri has a line out called Hybrid and it has been getting some great reviews and it is fairly cheap also I think you can get a 600 yard spool for $12. If you want just regular mono get the 12 pound Trilene Big Game. Hope that helps if you got any questions just ask I also have videos on how to spool a Baitcaster also. Thanks for watching

      @joshandhuntersadventures5046  Рік тому +1

      I’m sure there would be times where long casts would be beneficial like throwing crankbaits. But for a lot of cases long casts are not always the case. But if you get use to a certain setting I’m sure you can manage the backlash

    I have a couple of them. I like the size of them, usually I prefer Shimano's profile and size, but the Tatula 100 and SV TW feel real nice. They look better than Shimano reels also, IMO. My only problem with the Tatula 100 is when using Fluorocarbon, I have to use line conditioner even when using more expensive line or it's hard to manage at times, and even then it can be touchy, at ;east for me. But, overall they are nice reels that work, feel, and work good and you can often get them for a little over a $100 often.

      We are right beside a gun range so if you watch any of the other videos when we are at the pond it is pretty common thing to lol. We live back in the country
