Hello everyone, I hope you enjoy watching all my videos of Portugal as much as I enjoyed making them. You can watch the other videos I filmed in Portugal here: ua-cam.com/play/PL0wwMzq5-Q2g0kl9kPpz39WLf1jfYApKV.html
I think exactly like you, I don’t like wasting time getting in the castles, I prefer exploring the nature and surrounding areas! Thank you for sharing, best video on UA-cam about Sintra!
@@WandererBell I just got back from vi my visit to Portugal and instead of getting in the Pena’s Palace, I went to Mouro’s Castle and Queluz Palace, it is worth visiting in there! Queluz Palace is beautiful and there’s a lot of history of the Corte Real Family.
Thank you so much for sharing this video. I am not into seeing the inside of the castle either and I just want to walk around out side and see the nature and views. I’m glad you showed what to expect.
I love your video as much as I love you young man, your video is a complete package you deserve a million views and subscriber!!!keep up the good work and stay safe always
Thanks for showing this.I am going to spain/ portugal . Sintra village is an optional tour. looks like a loy of walking. Pena palacce gottransport but I dont think I can climb the Moorish Catle ? is it Moorish castle?
Thank you so much. The Moorish Castle is not that far from Pena Palace. If you decide to walk to the castle, make sure you walk through Pena Palace Gardens on your way to the Moorish Castle as you saw in the video. It is a beautiful walk. The climb is not that difficult. Enjoy your trip!
Thanks so much for the video, great job, I’m going to Portugal next month and a good friend of mine is moving near to Sintra. Hope to visit her. Don’t mine to long the video, it looks to me that I was there already. Keep doing this kind of videos. Hugs from San Diego, CA.,
Beautiful place. Historic town with all the restaurants looks fantastic. Going up to the castle towers with no gaurdrails is scary. Awesome video, felt like, I was actually visiting the places myself.
Thank you, Eddy. I really enjoyed the castle despite the strong wind. The wind actually got worse after I stopped filming but I am glad it did not ruin the video audio that much.
Love your very detailed video! Valuable information and a new perspective… different from the other Sinatra videos floating around. Will definitely subscribe and travel with you!
Great video!! Thanks for sharing... if u can explain... you got to the entrance of the pena palace, then walk to the park... you walk to the moorish palace... Then u rin the city... I want to go to the parks, the quinta regaleira and monserrat and city,,, but don't know in what order
Thanks. You can visit the sites in the order you saw in the video. I did not visit Monserrat. You can add it at the end, but I doubt you will have enough time to visit all of them in one day.
Thank you for the video! It is really helpful. I have a question...The Pena Park ticket includes the terraces(it is written in the site) Why did that person stop you from going there?
Thanks! I see to get nice images of the Pena Palace from the Moorish Fortress, I need a telephoto lens, and I'm not going to bring this on our trip, so there's no reason for us going there. I would too need a couple of days, to get the images I wanted. Inside the Pena Palace I could probably pick out nice details with my 27 mm aps-c lens, but it will all be too much a hustle. Better to spend our few days in Lisbon, in Lisbon!
@@WandererBell I decided to buy a Lisbon card. I want to go to Sintra with this card. Is it necessary to make a reservation for the train before boarding? do you know ?

The best video I've seen on Sinatra explains everything I needed
Glad to hear that! Thank you so much 🙏

Thank you. The Gardens outside the palace are so beautiful. You can walk through the gardens to reach the Moorish Castle. It is a beautiful walk.

Love the old town though. You are right though. Any european castle looks the same.Even from the outside but still imposing.

Many thanks!

Thank you for long detailed video
I like the details so many other videos didn't include. I also like to know time of year and temp (for future videos), thank you!
Thanks for the feedback. I appreciate it🙏

This was so succinct and useful! Thank you!
You're so welcome!
Thank you!! I appreciated the long video! It is exactly what I want to do. It’s daunting to go somewhere you have never been.

Awesome mate
Thank you! Cheers!

Thank you. That line is to enter the palace and the ticket I had was for the park, not palace.
This is very helpful, thank you. Can you tell me what time of year was your visit? Wondering if it is always so windy!
Thanks! This was in late March.

If you decide to enter Pena Palace, I suggest you pick the first time slot early in the morning to avoid big lines.
@@WandererBell No, your video convinced me not to bring my family there. Thanks!
@@bioliv1 Glad the video gave you a good sense of what that place is all about.
Does the train ticket you buy to Sintra include the return ticket? or just one way ?
My ticket included the return trip.
@@WandererBell I decided to buy a Lisbon card. I want to go to Sintra with this card. Is it necessary to make a reservation for the train before boarding? do you know ?
@@shortlife-shortvideos You don’t need a reservation.
Hi, did you take 434 bus again to get back to old town ? Do you recommend tuktuk or the bus ? Is tuk tuk available up there ?
I walked back to the old town and then took the bus to the train station. Tuk tuk is available everywhere in that area.
The price of that restaurant used to be half of what you paid. Portugal really got expensive 😅
Everywhere is getting expensive these days 🥲
