Thanks I appreciate it! As fun as it was playing through Dark Forces 1 and Jedi Knight for those videos, it was a blast to finally play Outcast again. Still holds up extremely well
Hey man, new subscriber. These videos are awesome. These early 2000's Lucasfilm games were the highlight of my life. They do make me feel old though.. I know i sound like a boomer but games truly were better back then. Looking forward to more old school starwars games IE Kotor I/II even Force UNleashed.
The general consensus is that Disney refused to touch the EU because they wanted to avoid paying out rights and seeding any creative control. That's why we got off-brand 'legally distinct' retreads. Thrawn was one of the few exception.
Though i don't care that much for Disney's Thrawn compared to the original I will admit brining him in was a good move by them. He's still good just not as good as Legends
The EU stuff was made by different people with permission from Lucas, so depending on what deal they made it is possible that those people have the rights to the new characters and events. Take the Wizard of Oz for example: The book is now in the public domain and anyone can make stories using it, but they cannot make stories using elements added by other people. For example: in the 1939 movie they changed the color of the magic shoes from silver to red. If you make a Wizard of Oz story you can use their original design or one you come up with, but you cannot use the one used in the movie without permission.
@@AndreiPopescu The contracts were almost entirely work-for-hire with royalties only for the direct sales of the whole works, not for use of characters.
1:03:21 He's also Lando in the Empire Strikes back and Dark Empire 1 audiodramas. But NOT back for RotJ or Dark Empire 2. Dark Empire 2 just cut him and had Wedge talking to a commando officer. RotJ couldn't get away with that, but also apparently couldn't find even another black guy on short notice so you've just got White Lando. And it's cuuuuursed.
1:23:48 There’s so much weight in Luke’s word when he said he scattered Desann and his Reborn troops. All by himself. We never get to see it, but it feels great to hear Luke casually flexing his Chosen One status like it’s Tuesday.
This was a fantastic retrospective. I love this game inside and out, it's my favourite Star Wars game ever and I've been inspired to play through it again. I never knew about the force nexus point in the final fight with Dessan, I always just took him on directly so, you've helped me learn something new! A very well put together video with the replacement music and the edit pacing to let us enjoy the story without cutting around anything important. You've earned yourself a subscriber, sir. Looking forward to your next video.
One thing I don't like about the newer games is that we can't get weapons from enemies. Take Battle Front for example: I had a sniper rifle and was getting attacked by multiple enemies from close range so I had a hard time fighting them since I can only change my gun at weapon locker. Also some levels have preset weapons like the ones we play as Han or Lando. In those levels we have to fight entire armies with just a pistol because we can't pick up the machineguns from the enemies we kill. If it were a real situation I'm sure everyone would pick up a weapon from a dead body and use it, which is exactly what we can do in the Jedi Knight games.
You described the feeling of realizing this was a sequel and not knowing what game 'Jedi Knight 1' was like 😅. I was 11 when this came out and got it on GameCube and it was my favorite star wars game. Still one of my favorites as I'm about to buy it on the PlayStation store. I've enjoyed this review series very much and look forward to Academy!! May the Force be with you and thanks for your hard work!!
Actually Vice Admiral Thrawn did appear in "Tie Fighter" which came out in the 90s, so that is technically the first appearance of the Schiss in video-games format!
His voice in that is so comcially deep. I like him much better in EaW FoC where Robin Atkins Downes is doing an impression of Marc Thompson's original Legends audiobook voice.
I remember having to think like a Jedi to progress in this game! These old Star Wars games were so good, they got me into the Expanded Universe and now I'm reading full on 300+ page novels about Star Wars. I've never been into reading books! It's scary how good I can picture what's going on in these books just from prior visuals from the video games alone.
That is so true and Outcast did that better than any other game. The puzzles felt like actual things Jedi would do and felt really natural for their environments. The novels are a lot of fun. I'm currently re reading through the entire X-Wing series and man the original EU was so great. Obviously highly recommend the Timothy Zahn books as well!
@@BBQBARNES-GAMING I'm halfway through Last Command right now! Heir to the Empire and Dark Force Rising were exactly what I've been missing in Star Wars. These novels are so beautiful they bring tears to my eyes. Can't wait to experience the Jedi Academy with true cannon Luke :D
Love your reviews of the Dark Forces/Jedi Knight series games! These games were hallmarks of my childhood (are great today still)! Indeed, Dark Forces 2 was my "gateway drug" into Star Wars, even before I saw the movies. Curious, where is the Valley of the Jedi duel song from (the one around 4:05)?
Thanks glad you've enjoyed them! Funny thing the song is one I wrote and then messed with an AI to create. I was messing around with it to see how good the AI was. After only a few changes I thought it sounded good so figured why not through it in somehow lol
21:00 I'm pretty sure you can play a mouse droid in the lego star wars games too. I think the cheat/extra that you can play as the extra characters does it
47:24 This here is something important. *THIS* is how you make Luke fail. Have him be too sure his students can be redeemed and too unwilling to involve the wider galactic justice system. Rather than have him forget the lesson he learned with his father (And himself in Dark Empire) have him learn that lesson TOO WELL.
I remember that as a kid playing this months after release, I had the thought of using the speed force power to deal with the snipers. It's not the perfect solution, but it does help in aiming at them and charge a shot faster than they can react.
Great video as always! Nar Shadda was such a shame here because on multiplayer, it was actually a terrific map. I played a lot of multiplayer before ever touching the campaign and, once I did get to the story, I was kind of shocked how bad the source level was.
34:44 This part is different in the Gamecube version, instead of dropping you in the lower valley and having to go back up it drops you right next to the turret and the platform of miners. And there's a wall between the turret and the lower valley. So there's no way to kill either of the lower valley AT-STs till you've successfully run past both to the turrets by the ion cannons.
35:49 oh, that's actually what you did anyway since you ignored the AT-ST shooting you in the back while on the turret. Well the fight with the AT-STs was so hard kid me used the invincibility cheat only to realize that softlocks the game when you get to Desann!
51:48 This is basically the scene that declares the Novela noncanon because the Novela has Luke (And Mon Mothma, and Leia, and Han, and many others) know at LEAST that the valley is on Ruusan.
Love the live action Kyle. Jason Court seemed to just really have fun with the role. but the Jeff Bennet version will always be the one i think of if someone mentions Kyle
Shout out to the MP clans that held my childhood together: Knights of Mana, The Final Fantasy, I can’t remember their name but the Storm Troopers like LightKnight, Darksaber (DSbr) folks who pioneered being way too good at a game, LF - who left servers open forever, the role playing clans, the saber only clans, the modding clans, etc. hope yall boys are doing well, 20+ years later
@@BBQBARNES-GAMING I've always felt that too. At least he has an interesting story, unlike Brianna. Obsidian were being so cryptic that she's Kreia's daughter, that would have made her character so much better. Thank you for taking time to reply to me.
Wait, you can run across the lasers at bespin!?! I have played the game at least 20 times and always jumped and heal around the outer ring to reach the elevators.
I once had Desann kill himself by knocking over one of the pillars onto himself while I was standing up above on the platform. Never been able to replicate it again.
Did you know… you can keybind your lightsaber, to turn it on/off manually? When I found that as a kid, I thought I was genius. Probably not a huge secret. Something about being able to turn it off after each scrap just added some flavor to the already awesome saber controls. The constant saber hum sound if you don’t turn it off got old after the 1st level with it. Wishing for a 3rd installment of this game just for the combat alone. Love the video 🍻
I am disappointed that I was not able to get father in this game as a kid. I had a lot of trouble on the first level, and I just couldn’t beat the level that starts with you at the bar. I wonder if I went back now could. I beat it without any guides. However I played so many hours in the custom battle mode. It was just so fun playing matches lightsabers only with my friend
That was me for a long time as well. I remember when I finally had a computer to look up how to get past that same level. Nar Shadda is a tough level especially on Xbox where you cant quick save and there's a sniper around every corner. The custom battle mode was rad as hell with friends
windows pc jedi outcast is definitively the number one pc game of all time. the base game is brilliant, the skyboxes are gorgeous, and if you use the console it takes it to god tier :)
Loved this game so much. My favorite move was to force jump and then force pull enemies into the air and then laughing as they fell to their deaths. Ah, good times, good times
Great game, great story. If i have one small complaint about it, is that it felt a bit too short in my first few playthroughs. I am still playing it along with Dark Forces 2, Mysteries of the Sith and Jedi Academy. Other old games too, Thief trilogy, Splinter Cell series, The first Deus Ex, Commandos 1 & 2, Starcraft 1 and 2, Warcraft 3 and more. Older games feel solid with tons of replay value. To clarify, i started pc gaming in my early 30's, yes i am 60 years old. And before anyone gives me shit about my age, my father in law is 90+ and he's playing pc games, single player and even WoW. Gaming is for every age. I consider myself lucky to have started when i did, because kids that grew up with consoles and pc's, don't appreciate the good, old stuff. I see many comments on UA-cam, from young players, actually praising older games.
obiwans saber was made in all 3 colors back then cause its a basic padawan saber- obi never bothered redesigning the hilt like his peers would eventually
after watching your4h of your previous starwars dark forces games, I bought this game on steam super exicted to play.......aaaaaaand it wont work. FUCK! . Great videos tough and shall watch this one too . Got my popcorn and beer ready
Ah man! In my early teens, playing multiplayer, not knowing properly how to play well.... 😢😂 good times. Played a few years ago on a server, and was not the same, but still fun
Grew up playing these games. Also a huge fan of Luke in TLJ. I like my characters beaten down and learning from their failures. Well, I guess I just like Luke being a character - he doesn’t really come across as one in this game. The clip you used of Luke attacking Ben Solo is from Ben’s distorted memory of the event btw.
I like characters going through a beat down arc however that should been the focus of Rey or Fin. Luke already went through one of the greatest beat down arcs made and had learned his lesson about letting emotions cloud his judgment. It also didn't help it was in a flashback instead of a developed arc that might could work but only if we had more context shown not told. Legends had dozens of stories that with simple changes could have ben great movies especially if they avoided doing a trilogy and instead have focused on unique stories outside the main plots like Rouge one or Solo
@@BBQBARNES-GAMING I feel like Rey’s arc of learning to stand on her own two feet, accepting her responsibility, and not allowing others to define her works pretty well, as does Finn’s arc of committing to a just cause. I just think the easy way to bring back Luke is have him be a wise master whose only struggles are external, when tying his fallibility into the creation of the trilogy’s main antagonist makes for a genuinely interesting dynamic. Luke’s imperfections made him relatable to me growing up; I’m glad he didn’t stop growing after RotJ. And his feat of sacrifice and heroism at the end of TLJ remains one of my fav Luke moments just for the sheer virtuosity of his use of the Force and the way he accepts his humanity while embracing his status as this mythic legend. To me, it made the two parts of Luke - the Man and the Myth - finally coexist peacefully in a way none of the Legends stories ever did.
Pedantic point: there's no such thing as "non copyrighted Star Wars music", every piece of music created for an official Star Wars product is under copyright, and will be until at least 2072. What you presumably mean is "music that's not from the Star Wars movies"
1:18:23 I thought he was confused because Lando didn't know the Remnant was behind the attack, he's only ever seen Reelo's thugs so Kyle wasn't expecting to see them either.
Soooo, for anyone who tries the game and doesn't know this: Change your lightsaber stances depending on situation. Light stance (Blue) has fast speed and low damage, but is the best one for deflecting blaster bolts. Great stance for stormtroopers and criminals. Medium stance (yellow) is the all rounder, good for every situation, but not great in any one of them. Decent speed, decent damage. Blaster bolts will be able to hit you some times, specially against multiple shooters or against weapons with fast rate of fire. Heavy stance (red) is pretty slow but has the most damage. Good luck deflecting blasters with this one, but you can sometimes end lightsaber duels in one or two hits.
I'm curious if you've seen any of the interviews with the Raven Software devs on this game. They give a lot of insight on why the game is the way it is (for better and worse). I highly recommend them as someone who's been playing this masterpiece since i was potty trained.
You know i was thinking about delaying doing a KOTOR video till i got better at doing videos like this but so many people keep asking i might take a shot at it sooner rather than later. Definitely will be a very long video to make so who knows when I'll get it out lol
@BBQBARNES-GAMING Could try doing like BG or Neverwinter Nights first? Idk if Bioware in general is your thing. Neverwinter Nights is kinda niche but the franchise got a huge boost with BG3.
59:38 also disruptors aren't fit for sniping! And their beams look nothing like that! They're short ranged barely contained blasts. Fat wide blaster bolts that are partially losing containment. EaW FoC is more lore accurate. Or even bolts from the plasmacannon in DF1 or the fireballs shot by the droid in the Ventress arena episode of Gennedywars.
if u loose ur lightsaber just like u did in this video u CAN just click and i will return to u IF their is a path to you but yes u are right if u wait a few mins it does come back to u, but its kinda cool when u drop ur lightsaber and then u click and it comes back towards u, you can turn it on as well so now u have this turned on saber returning to u
I always play Jedi Outcast at Jedi Master difficulty, but I type in console command undying (999 health) and it grants me 999 hp, then I re-type again undying so it gets turned off, because if it's on, it's kinda like God mode, you are left at 1 hp only and cannot be killed. But you have 999 hp and that's how I roll with this game and enjoy with no torture.
Second comment: I love this game and the character development Kyle goes through in it. But does Jan turning out to be alive sort of diminish the lesson learned/Kyle's development? Kyle is afraid to use the Force for fear of falling to the dark side and is even warned by Luke not to use the Force if he can't let go of his anger. He hold Tavion (defeated and defenseless) in a Force grip about to drop her into the Bespin pit band only releases her once she tells him that Jan is alive. Had Jan been dead, Kyle would've killed a defeated opponent and moved closer to the dark side. So does he really learn control and overcome and master himself or no since had it not been for things working out in his favor, he'd be on a path of vengeance and destruction and lose himself after all?
Oh had Jan not lived he would have ended Tavion for sure however i wouldn't say it diminishes the lesson but instead changes it. It becomes more about the power of hope and how even a spark of it can rekindle the coldest of hearts. This was before the whole Jedi are supposed to shun attachments stuff that the prequels created so instead it shows how important having attachments can be.
1:32:15 Despite what Kyle says, you definitely can go Rambo on most of these troopers without a problem. The only place where you can't progress without sneaking is the room where you have to turn off the lights.
You can enable it in the console commands. just open the console by pressing shift and ` then type in "helpusobi 1" and enter then type "g_saberrealisticcombat 1" and enter Its a ton of fun!
Still uses a very thing that was supposed to be kept secret and i dont think in game he ever says its only a fraction of the power. Pretty sure the novels point that out though but not sure
58:17 I think the point here was exactly that: Raven knew that everyone will be too eager to use only the lightsaber so they put the player in a situation where using it is a disadvantage. They teach the player that you shouldn't rely too much on the saber and you should still use your other weapons. Be more tactical and not just hack and slash while running around. It also makes a really good point about how simple bounty hunters are able to kill Jedi which was maybe the first time that it was shown. I mean, it was said that people like Jango Fett have killed Jedi but we've never really seen it. Okay, Jango did kill Coleman Trebor in the Geonosian arena but if you ask me it was quite pathetic, meaning that Trebor must have been the lamest of all Jedi. :D
Dark Forces is my masterpiece (in my opinion) for me, each level is so radically different compared to Jedi Outcast, like the Sewers and the Imperial City rather than Bespin 1 and Bespin 2
There were no arms lost in the making of phantom menace but a guy got cut in half and another guy lost his life due to being pierced in the upper abdomen by the guy that got cut in half sooo
Huh, didn't recognize Blum as Fyar. I'm used to him either being silly, snakey or Spike. (DId recognize him as most of the stormtroopers) The whole trying to swat his neighbor's christmas party thing though has me a bit turned off on him.

Hey man your video is amazing. I am so happy that I am not the only one who grew up being super fan of that game series, the story, the lightsaber gameplay man...how good it was.
Thanks for this looong video I really love it, I hope you'll get more subscribers you deserve it. :)
He's still good just not as good as Legends
i will never understand why they'll have to pay for rights on star wars related media when they're literally the ones who own the IP
Well it's a good thing that they put time and effort into making a good alternative oh wait
When you realize it’s a 20 year old game I felt that 😂. I’m a 94 baby. I think you said your a 1993.
Yep we are old men now even if I don't feel it yet haha
I played this as a kid, and now i have co-workers who wasn't born when it released 😅
@@Harukakanata94 the sad reality of getting older… kids today will never know how it felt for new Star Wars games to come from Lucasarts….
And it's cuuuuursed.
haha that sounds hilarious
1:23:48 There’s so much weight in Luke’s word when he said he scattered Desann and his Reborn troops. All by himself. We never get to see it, but it feels great to hear Luke casually flexing his Chosen One status like it’s Tuesday.
Haha true, talking about wiping out a small army of dark Jedi like he just took out the garbage
Thanks man! Can't wait to get started on Jedi Academy
This was an absolute blast. Had my attention the entire way through! Can’t wait to see more content from you in the future!!
Thanks! I really appreciate it
One thing I don't like about the newer games is that we can't get weapons from enemies.
Thanks! Just got done playing through Academy and now onto the loooonng process of writing it up and editing lol
This was excellent, such a fun watch. Also if you don't mind me saying you have a great presenter voice
Thanks man!
Loving the reviews - earned a subscriber
Thanks I appreciate it!
Actually Vice Admiral Thrawn did appear in "Tie Fighter" which came out in the 90s, so that is technically the first appearance of the Schiss in video-games format!
Oh man I forgot all about that! Its been ages since I played Tie Fighter or X-Wing. I barely remember much of them unfortunately
@@BBQBARNES-GAMING Not holding it against you man! Just wanted to be an "Achtually"-annoying dude today! :D
@@BBQBARNES-GAMING I did sound good! It's amazing the things AI can craft nowadays!
absolute perfection in pc gaming!! :)
59:18 Actually, if you crouch while using the scope you can move around.
Really wish I knew that earlier!
Still so much worse than the scope in MotS!
21:00 I'm pretty sure you can play a mouse droid in the lego star wars games too. I think the cheat/extra that you can play as the extra characters does it
Cool so there's at least one other game out there
47:24 This here is something important. *THIS* is how you make Luke fail. Have him be too sure his students can be redeemed and too unwilling to involve the wider galactic justice system. Rather than have him forget the lesson he learned with his father (And himself in Dark Empire) have him learn that lesson TOO WELL.
Very true. Allow his biggest strength as a character to work against him instead of just forgetting it.
I remember that as a kid playing this months after release, I had the thought of using the speed force power to deal with the snipers. It's not the perfect solution, but it does help in aiming at them and charge a shot faster than they can react.
That is a very good idea!
Great video as always! Nar Shadda was such a shame here because on multiplayer, it was actually a terrific map. I played a lot of multiplayer before ever touching the campaign and, once I did get to the story, I was kind of shocked how bad the source level was.
It's multiplayer map is so much fun. Jumping from the catwalks onto people surprising them was always great.
This version of Kyle and Dark Forces 2 are the best
Love the live action Kyle. Jason Court seemed to just really have fun with the role. but the Jeff Bennet version will always be the one i think of if someone mentions Kyle
Shout out to the MP clans that held my childhood together: Knights of Mana, The Final Fantasy, I can’t remember their name but the Storm Troopers like LightKnight, Darksaber (DSbr) folks who pioneered being way too good at a game, LF - who left servers open forever, the role playing clans, the saber only clans, the modding clans, etc. hope yall boys are doing well, 20+ years later
The 00s was one of the best eras for online gaming. Great Memories
You had me at "Non-Boring version of Bao-Dur" XD
haha yeah his voice lulls me to sleep every time. he has a good back story though
Man you are not alone on that one. This is apparently the most commented on segment for the whole video haha
I once had Desann kill himself by knocking over one of the pillars onto himself while I was standing up above on the platform. Never been able to replicate it again.
That's what I love about old games. So many crazy things like that happening
Oh yeah its pretty fun to mess with before enter a room with a Reborn. Feels cinematic as hell!
Great video!
Thanks!
windows pc jedi outcast is definitively the number one pc game of all time. the base game is brilliant, the skyboxes are gorgeous, and if you use the console it takes it to god tier :)
Loved this game so much. My favorite move was to force jump and then force pull enemies into the air and then laughing as they fell to their deaths. Ah, good times, good times
Chaining together powers like that was always so fun!
Thats awesome to still be gaming at 60! I hope to still be playing through Half-Life 1, Halo and Rome Total War when i'm that old.
I'll never forget the first time I got the light saber in this game. It was incredible 😂
oh man first time seeing i could cut off their arm with it was insane to me as a kid. lol
30:56 Alt fire is regular proximity fuse by the way.
All these years and i never knew that lol
obiwans saber was made in all 3 colors back then cause its a basic padawan saber- obi never bothered redesigning the hilt like his peers would eventually
The nar sharda level has the long lost brothers of the jackal snipers from halo 2 on legendary lol.
Oh god tell me about. to be honest on jedi mater difficulty it might be worse. then again I'm better at fps games then 3rd person games
i consider outcast and academy to be all one big game :)
after watching your4h of your previous starwars dark forces games, I bought this game on steam super exicted to play.......aaaaaaand it wont work. FUCK! . Great videos tough and shall watch this one too . Got my popcorn and beer ready
Ah man! In my early teens, playing multiplayer, not knowing properly how to play well.... 😢😂 good times. Played a few years ago on a server, and was not the same, but still fun
Yeah I still don't understand how people are so good at its multiplayer. I think I'm alright and then get slaughtered lol
In the tunnels in the academy you can force push the fire pillars and it deactivates them so you can walk past
Raven Studios is where Kyle's ship The Ravens Claw gets its name.
Possibly
Soooo, for anyone who tries the game and doesn't know this:
Change your lightsaber stances depending on situation.
Good luck deflecting blasters with this one, but you can sometimes end lightsaber duels in one or two hits.
it might not seem like a lot but those 3 stances help add so much versatility to the game
When you use force speed you can avoid sniper fire.
At least in Jadi Academy it was that way.
What on earth is the song at 4:00 I tried googling it and cant find anything but the music for the level, no song or lyrics.
Made the song with AI. Spent like an hour making lyrics for a full song all for a 10 second joke haha
jedi outcast and jedi academy both are still playable in the pc demo if you google for the demo trial versions :) for free
I'm curious if you've seen any of the interviews with the Raven Software devs on this game. They give a lot of insight on why the game is the way it is (for better and worse). I highly recommend them as someone who's been playing this masterpiece since i was potty trained.
If you mean the one on the JKhub channel for the 20th anniversary then yes! Really good 2+ hour interview.

Ah yeah I'm really emotionally attached to Crystal Star
I always wondered what Desann's race is since you never see any others like him in any other starwars game, show or movie.
I really would like to see more of them. They seem like an interesting warrior like species similar to the Nogri.
Christopher Neame did some work for SWTOR too.
Any plans to do Kotor, Swtor or any other older SW entry?
Perhaps Galactic Battlegrounds or the Jedi Star Fighter games?
You know i was thinking about delaying doing a KOTOR video till i got better at doing videos like this but so many people keep asking i might take a shot at it sooner rather than later. Definitely will be a very long video to make so who knows when I'll get it out lol
@BBQBARNES-GAMING Could try doing like BG or Neverwinter Nights first?
Idk if Bioware in general is your thing. Neverwinter Nights is kinda niche but the franchise got a huge boost with BG3.
Hope you do Academy next
Working on editing it now!
You were suppose to run on the laser grid on lower bespin? ><
I had to run and jump these beams
haha that's my point those red laser scream death, not run on me.
59:38 also disruptors aren't fit for sniping! And their beams look nothing like that! They're short ranged barely contained blasts. Fat wide blaster bolts that are partially losing containment. EaW FoC is more lore accurate. Or even bolts from the plasmacannon in DF1 or the fireballs shot by the droid in the Ventress arena episode of Gennedywars.
if u loose ur lightsaber just like u did in this video u CAN just click and i will return to u IF their is a path to you but yes u are right if u wait a few mins it does come back to u, but its kinda cool when u drop ur lightsaber and then u click and it comes back towards u, you can turn it on as well so now u have this turned on saber returning to u
its little things like that that make the game fun and the fact it can happen to the AI enemies too is great
Mara Jade addon is underrates
Its definitely fun but id put it a the bottom of the series. It is awesome to see Mara Jade though

9:03 In my head canon Kyle is Revan reincarnated because they both had the same voice actors at some point. :D
I mean Kyle did fall to the darkside and came back using both light and dark force powers to defeat future enemies haha.
Omg i can HEAR Dr. Chakwas
It's one of those things once you notice you can't un hear lol
I always play Jedi Outcast at Jedi Master difficulty, but I type in console command undying (999 health) and it grants me 999 hp, then I re-type again undying so it gets turned off, because if it's on, it's kinda like God mode, you are left at 1 hp only and cannot be killed. But you have 999 hp and that's how I roll with this game and enjoy with no torture.
Sounds like a fun way to play. Console commands are always fun to mess around with
Cortosis is now in the Canon, with Star Wars Acolyte. 🎉
Given they already abandoned the show is it still canon lol
@@BBQBARNES-GAMING 😂 makes you wonder
@55:25 actually Darth Maul loses both his legs since he lived to tell the tale in CW
Lost his legs but at least none of his arms lol
where did you find the musical tho? xDD
Wrote the lyrics and used an AI to create the music. Spent way too long making a 10 second joke haha
@BBQBARNES-GAMING amazing lol XD
1:32:15 Despite what Kyle says, you definitely can go Rambo on most of these troopers without a problem. The only place where you can't progress without sneaking is the room where you have to turn off the lights.
So long as you protect the security consoles so they cant call for help but that can be more of pain than sneaking is.
@@BBQBARNES-GAMING I've done it before so it is doable. :D
How do you access the full dimemberment
You can enable it in the console commands. just open the console by pressing shift and `
then type in "helpusobi 1" and enter
then type "g_saberrealisticcombat 1" and enter
Its a ton of fun!
41:45 He only takes a tiny fraction of it though.
Still uses a very thing that was supposed to be kept secret and i dont think in game he ever says its only a fraction of the power. Pretty sure the novels point that out though but not sure
The writing in these games are 100x better than the Disney movies.
Man as a kid I remember having a Trebor action figure. They really made toys of everyone back then lol
Dark Forces is my masterpiece (in my opinion) for me, each level is so radically different compared to Jedi Outcast, like the Sewers and the Imperial City rather than Bespin 1 and Bespin 2
The imperial City level is still incredible. DF1 was way ahead of it's time
