    Not being able to use the reverb and delay at the same time kills this pedal for me despite the fact that I have several of Keeley’s excellent pedals.
    I’d suggest that if you need delay + reverb at the same time, you could buy a NUX Atlantic (great value dual pedal) and just stick a good OD before it like a Barber Gain Changer, Xotic Soul Driven or even the Ghoul Drive which Pete recently demoed.

    This might be one of the best "emergency pedals" to keep in your gig bag. Keeley makes some epic pedals, I just bought a caverns v2 and it is stunning! The modulated reverb is gorgeous, and it's got probably one of the nicest shimmers I've heard at that price. If you haven't checked that one out, I strongly recommend. Intro was killer as always! 🤘

    Awesome piece of music Pete. 1:32 - 1:37 smokes up the fret-board. When Shur release a roasted-fret board, we'll know it's been played in by you.
    You really laid out the killer benefits of this pedal in the video Pete, including the mix-as-you-play technique with the tweeking of effects.
    I'd like to know how long it takes you to compose these pieces of music. I get the feeling that you layout the track and learn the solo(s) before playing it. Your playing sounds fresh.. like it's improvised yet the quality of the solos suggests a composition is at play: is that the case? I'd love to see the 'making of' of your compositions one day, just to give us some insight into how you come up with the parts and solos. In this one, the feel of the rhythm track was also spot on.. so compositionally (for me) you are nailing it. Bravo fella.

    This pedal would have been EPIC!!! if it allowed you to stack the reverb/delay and also if it had 1-3 'saves' than it would be outstanding!!!......I bet any $$$ that Keeley will put out a version #2 of this pedal with stackable effects ... Keeley missed the players out there who like to add a little reverb to the tails of what they just play!!!.......great vid as always Pete !!!.......b safe n healthy !!!!.......and to all - enjoy the rest of ur summer and stay in tune!!!......

      Michael Mc check out the Anderton’s demo on the workstations by Mick and Danish Pete if you haven’t seen it. It’s the reason I bought all three in their demo (Tone, Delay, and Mod - not Supermod). 🙂 BTW Started a job in Moscow two months ago and was looking for a way to get decent tones in my apartment (all my nice tube gear remains in Holland), and I think the Iridium with this DDR is the perfect solution! Two pedals, tonnes of tones.

  • @RandomButtonPusher
    @RandomButtonPusher 5 років тому +1

    Great demo/playing as usual. One question -- why do none of the folks demoing pedals ever discuss the noise floor of the pedals? Is this a quiet pedal? That seems to be the biggest complaint I see from pedal consumers when they rate pedals, that they like an effect but don't keep it because it's noisy in their chain.

    • @RobertKeeleyTV
      @RobertKeeleyTV 5 років тому

      I like to stick it at the end of the drive section. There, like Pete showed, it works well even in alternate positions (with his gain channel amp directly following the pedal and a delay setting). It works well before your delay and reverb section. That is where I use it on my board.

I've a lot of cheaper pedals but there comes a time, personally, when spending a little more gives a little better quality in build, components etc. It says a lot when you can build and manufacturer a pedal in China, ship it half way round the world and everybody in the supply chain makes a cut from it.
