      Thank you very much. I prefer baking potatoes on the grill, especially this time of year the oven makes the house too hot. I'm glad you enjoyed my video. Enjoy 😁

    I would never thought to make twice-baked potatoes on a grill. Very interesting, I am going to try some on my gas grill. Good video.

      Hey Jerry, I've been doing baked potatoes on the grill for years. As long as you dont put them over direct heat it works great. I'm sure that your gas grill will work great.

    I bought me a new Weber recently, and I ain't never quite seen somebody put the vent and that thermometer on optic ends. I want to with your reason is because I get 🤔 confused because people say to put vent over food, which case you have no clue what temperature the food is, because of the temperature 🌡️ gauge is over the charcoal.
    But I've been thinking about how to redo the gauge and put it over on the vent side. Little JB weld goes a long ways, and I say to whatever that was a critical mistake that y'all made.

    • @mikecha1957
      @mikecha1957  2 роки тому

      You are correct it is best to put the vent opposite of the heat source. However in this case I wanted the thermometer to read the cooker temp over the meat. Thermometer over the heat source as that gave me high reading. I have since acquired a separate digital thermometer. Thanks for watching
