I still have some from when I was in Nepal in 1998-99 . I wonder if person who put it there was from Nepal and what they thought of the Canadian mountains ..though they are small compared to Himalayas they are still impressive

I am from Nepal myself, have never been to Canada, but having followed Foresty's journey over the past year and I agree that the mountains there are majestic. The Himalayas are beautiful in their own right, Everest is usually crazy difficult because of the number of people attempting it but the other ranges are impressive too (you can check some out here: raonline.ch/images/np/graph/np_himalprof15001.jpg ), I remember Foresty mentioning how he'd love to tackle some of them in an earlier video.

I, of course, did touristy stuff there ( ABC, Helambu , Chitwan) but I also have Nepalese friends and have been to places where tourist never go .. I spent some time in villages in Surkhet district too with a friend and their family.
After watching more drone content I have to say you're an exceptional drone pilot/photographer. So many drone shots are so stiff and mechanical, and yours really flow. Big sweeping pans over a summit, or twisting down a logging road behind the van. And, all to great music! Thanks for another one Foresty!

I completely agree with this. I wonder if there's a way to take ultra high res drone shots and sell them? Both video and stills? I honestly think a huge catalogue of that could earn money. It seems like most of the work is already being done, namely getting there! Who else is so committed? There are multiple ways to market it, either open on the internet or as a portfolio of stock shots. Sell a Foresty Forest desktop background pack if nothing else! A more serious drone and camera combo might be required, but it might be a worthy investment!

Those are some of the most majestic shots I have ever seen of the Rockies . Absolutely brilliant . Your short "walks" reminds me of a book by the English travel writer Eric Newby called "A Short Walk in the Hindu Kush " which was of course a huge understatement , like your daily hikes up to 10,000 foot peaks .
Feet issues.... trick from my British army days.. Used Mint foot powder to soak up any excess moisture, take clean dry socks with powder already inside for when ya feet do get wet or sweaty. Use the highest percentage Aloe Vera gel to stop them cracking.
@@MusicaNLAlma he did on his mini van, but ended up using his DC-to-DC charger more and more; short days and bad weather meant really low charges from solar. Eventually when he switched to this van he just did a larger alternator and charger, but no solar.

I just got back from lake superior provincial park, which is a beautiful spot. Seeing the west coast on your videos makes me realize that Canadas natural beauty will always continue to blow me away.

I hiked in the Sangre de Christo mtns in New Mexico and a storm came up quick. My hair stood straight up and my metal frame on my pack started vibrating. I dump the pack and started running down the trail. That thunder reminded me of that trek.

Probably Canadian Mt Everest climbers from Canmore not far from here. They train in the Rockies or guide in all over the Purcells and Rockies.

I don’t think you could ever go wrong with a couple solar panels, specially going into the deep woods you do.

Thanks Darrell. It was probably about 25 Celsius on Mt Peter. And maybe 15 Celsius on Mt Atlung with the storm blowing in.
