great tutorial, tried to replicate this very shape myself but for some reason at 9:02 I got an error message when trying to combine all the sheets : " No coincident edge could be found". I don't know what to do, started over already without luck....I guess I'll just keep on picking at it.
I think there is no right or wrong. Generally Spline curves are much smoother, as less points are used, but you cant use them always (when you have "sharp" corners or have to change direction very often). But it's just with experience you see which curve might be better in the particular case. If you are a beginner start with control point curve and understand it first, before using spline curve. (My experience)
I appreciate what you are doing but it's a little hard to follow because you are winging it live and don't have a script so it gets a little bit messy sometimes. Furthermore it appears that you are shouting at me the whole time because you raise the tone of your voice. Maybe it's just me, idk. But those things are all easily fixable and you got the basics right: the skills! On that note: Have a nice day!
Bought all the courses and can’t await starting next year!
Thanks!! Wish you much much fun and experience learning with them!:)

Great tutorial! I notice sometimes you use a Control Point Curve, and other times a Spline Curve. Can you explain when to use each type?
