I have just made these, with a regular flour . I decreased the amount of oil in a half because I try to avoid oil as much as possible and I was afraid it will not work ( i added water instead of the remaining amount of oil) but amazingly they turned out super tasty, so good! I also used a regular sugar because I don't have a coconut so I decreased the sugar too (half a cup) and ...i took 1 tb spoon of date paste instead of Maple syrup ( don't have) . So yea... sorry for the changes...just tried to adopt to what I had and I always try to decrease sugar and oil but this recipe actually allowed these changes and this fact wowed me because usually I ruin recipes😅 . Thank you so much, these will be one of my favourite!
I absolutely LOVE how natural these are! I have several intolerances, and my family has a lot as well, and seeing such a natural and “healthy” recipe makes me so happy! Subscribed ❤
I tried this with regular flour since I didn't mind it and OMG! lemme be clear, I was NEVER good at making cookies and this one had everyone in the house AMAZED! including myself! the batch was finished in less than 48 hours! I'm DEFINITELY making these again!
I just put the dough in the fridge but my dough doesn’t look as moist as yours. I added a bit more of coconut oil but it didn’t seem to work as the dough was coming into small pieces. Let’s see how they bake!
Thank you so much for such a great recipe! Tried them today, super delicious though mine didn’t turn out to be crispy from outside, definitely gooey from inside! One thing that I would like to mention…in your video u have used 3/4 cup of water whereas in your recipe you have written 1/4 cup..pls clarify..
Hi there! Glad you enjoyed them 😊 For a crispier outside, bake them a little longer. Every oven is different so it’s a bit of trial and error to get them to your preferred texture. I’m not sure where you heard ¾ cup of water in the video, but I do say ¼ cup?

Thanks for sharing the changes you made and glad to hear that they still turned out well! :)
Oh good idea about the oil. I will try that next time.
Thankyou for posting this. I am extremely allergic to rice so have to make my own biscuits and cake with other gluten free flours. I’ll try them
Love to see a cookie recipe without vegan butter as I avoid oils solid at room temp. Thank you!!!!
Best recipe i have seen so far...😊
These look sooo good!🔥 Would love to try substituting the oil with almond butter. Almond butter goes so well with chocolate! 😋

Your video quality like the camera quality is shockingly good for a UA-cam video
Thanks! I use the same camera for my photography.

Sorry to hear. Not sure what has happened. Did you alter the recipe at all? What flour did you use? How did you go with the baking?

There are plenty on my website ☺️
They're being flat and cakey, what should I do? :(
Is this nut free as well, because I have a walnut allergy
Yes, there's no nuts in this recipe :)
Thank you@@HeartfulTable
Very tasty but a ton of calories!!! 1 cup sugar-1/2 cup oil and then extra chocolate
My batter is looking very dry 😬 not like yours
🤣🤣🤣 well I just realized I skipped the water part
@@justFreya5 glad you managed to work it out 😊
That's a ton of oil..and I'm afraid of that..
They're not for everyone 😊
@@HeartfulTable or rather anyone..
Oil isn't good for anyone...unless it's olive or coconut oil 😕
But you're amazing
@@scienceislove2014you can certainly swap it out for melted coconut oil. Thank you!
I used applesauce instead of oil. Worked great!
@@meganfrazier could you advise please now much apple sauce do you add? same amount as oil?
