I used very little sugar as well, only about half a teaspoon for the entire thing. It kept the sugar content low. It's not very sweet, but that's okay. I just wanted a crunchy, non mushy way to eat oatmeal...this was perfect. Thank you, they smelled nice. I also used about a serving of chia seeds instead of fruits/chocolates inside the mix. I reckon these cookies contain a decent amount of fiber... Next time, I might throw in some 100% peanut peanut butter for taste, or just smear it on after. So many ways to change it... I've been making similar cookies for years and these are BOMB with some glaze. My fave is lemon glaze. Just mix a few drops of lemon juice with some confectioners sugar. Pour it over the cooled cookies.
Delicious, I used 45g extra virgin olive oil, 45g apple sauce as my butter/ fat. I used sukrin Gold sweetener(best one ever) and soya milk. It was tasty! I would knock back the sugar a tad a little too sweet for me but it went down a treat! Thanks

Thank you for this easy recipe! I substituted sugar with stevia, coconut oil with extra virgin olive oil, milk with almond milk, plus added an egg white. I also added cinnamon and cardamom for spiciness. They are nice when warmed up too! ❤

These were great. I'm definitely going to make again. They're so crispy. I baked for 21 minutes, 2 tbs milk, small amount of chocolate, dried cranberries, and used butter (2.7oz) with a scale.

I was looking for a crispy oats cookies recipe and this is puuurrrfect! I used a little honey (30ml) instead of brown sugar, reduced the qty of coconut oil (1/4 cup) and added almond pulp ( the residue from home made almond milk)….yummy, low sweetness cookies!👍🏽

I’m only a bit worried I could’ve added a bit more milk or slightly less whole wheat flour because they’re a tiny bit dry or I might’ve baked them for longer than I intended. Great recipe. Instead of the oil I just put a frozen banana in the blender and mixed it with the 3tbsp of milk. Turned out good. Also I put 4 tbsp of brown sugar, next time I’ll try without.

Just made these. I used palm shortening in place of coconut oil, coconut milk and monk fruit sweetener. Can’t wait to try them! Edit… they came out way too sweet and I didn’t even use the recommended amount of sweetener ( which was a one to one replacement). Next time I’ll use way less.

This recipe is amazing! It’s so delicious, but I think the only downside is that you can barely taste the sugar. This is supposed to be a healthy recipe so I understand that there isn’t much sugar for this recipe, but I think that it would taste just slightly better if a tiny bit more sugar was added. This was by far the best cookie recipe.
I was skeptical about the cookies, but I decided to give him a try. The texture is a little different from regular oatmeal cookies. It wasn't bad. My problem came in is that the next day, they were hard like rocks. And I found that I had to keep on microwaving them just to soften them up. If you're willing to put up with that, they're not bad. Otherwise, use a traditional recipe.

Vegetable oil (polyunsaturated) is said to be extremely unhealthy despite the word vegetable in it. Just youtube it. Stick to coconut oil.

I tried mine with 1/4 cup of sugar and it taste sooo good! However, why is mine so watery? Probably because of our weather since its hot here the oil did not harden. I'll try to do it again tom and i'll refrigerate the dough first. Anyway, thanks for the recipe! we loved it
Will try this with no sugar , add almonds and another sweetener, maybe a little maple syrup, or stevia . Love the oat ingredients . Will watch again.😎
Just made these. I used palm shortening in place of coconut oil, coconut milk and monk fruit sweetener. Can’t wait to try them!
Edit… they came out way too sweet and I didn’t even use the recommended amount of sweetener ( which was a one to one replacement). Next time I’ll use way less.

I tried and it turned out ahh-mazing
1cup oat flour
1 cup rolled oats
3/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2cup granulated sugar
1tsp vanilla extract
2-3 tbsp plant milk
1/3 cup melted coconut oil

This recipe is amazing! It’s so delicious, but I think the only downside is that you can barely taste the sugar. This is supposed to be a healthy recipe so I understand that there isn’t much sugar for this recipe, but I think that it would taste just slightly better if a tiny bit more sugar was added. This was by far the best cookie recipe.
I suggest 1 cup of packed brown sugar.
Use an extra ripe banana to keep it "healthy".

I was skeptical about the cookies, but I decided to give him a try. The texture is a little different from regular oatmeal cookies. It wasn't bad. My problem came in is that the next day, they were hard like rocks. And I found that I had to keep on microwaving them just to soften them up. If you're willing to put up with that, they're not bad. Otherwise, use a traditional recipe.
Add 2 T. Peanut butter to them. I add crunchy peanut butter.
