Thanks for the shout out Matt! Superman is a character that led the way for all other superheroes. You would have to go back to Greek Mythology to find heroes that have had an influence over the audience in such a fantastic way.

GREAT books, Matt! You know I have that transformation cover on my want list. I just got my copy of Superman 199 last weekend for...$35! It's also not in great shape, but man, I'm just glad to have it. Such a great list of books. Thanks for sharing these. Definitely a couple I hadn't seen before.

Interesting and I agree. The most iconic character in the history of comics definitely gets treated like second string, even amongst strong DC collectors. I’ve taken advantage of this somewhat to buy beautiful gold and silver age books that would be three times the price if it was Batman or Wonder Woman. You see it too with Jimmy Olsen and to a lesser degree, Lois Lane. Lot’s of good buys in the super titles.
    Keep em coming Matt. 👍👍

Apart from the fact collecting Superman is easier than collecting Batman (money wise) Superman stories from 1967 onwards started growing up, not many Lois stories trying to find out Superman's secret identity and fighting yet another villain that escaped from Krypton or the Phantom zone, there were still some but not the predominance there were pre- '67. I've not got to '67 yet on my little channel, just did the script for '62. But I am looking forward to re-reading the stories you show here. Informative as always Matt!

I certainly have some and have read some of those, the rest I'd be happy to pick up if I see them at a good price. I'm always happy to pick up a super-book. Thanks for the show n tell. Your dad was a psychic!! My GF read tarot professionally too, see did go to College of Psychic Studies in London and occasionally says she has 'felt' things. Was your dad a medium or like a stage magician psychic?
