iko3301 war diese demo disc bei der ps1 damals dabei?
Ich muss damals 4 oder 5 jahre alt gewesen sein und habe diese games geliebt, war dann aber immer enttäuscht als die Spiele nach so kurzer Zeit wieder vorbei waren und ich nie verstanden habe warum. Ich hab die games dann immer und immer wieder gespielt und es wurde nie langweilig. Find ich mega dass es leute gibt die solche dinge finden, aufnehmen und hochladen!
Genau Demos lagen immer in der original Verpackung bei. Ich meine mich aber erinnern zu können, dass sie auch in einigen Elektronikmärkten/Fachhandel verschenkt wurden. Aber nagel mich nicht fest deswegen. Jedenfalls hatte ich eine üppige Kollektion von den Demos aka. "schwarzen CD's". Es gab nichts schöneres in meiner Kindheit als in meiner CD Tasche ein Spiel auszusuchen und die Playstation 1 zu starten. Vielleicht hatte ich ab und an noch mit der SNES gezockt aber die Playstation war durch die grafische Überlegenheit mein klarer Favorit. Die PS1 habe ich auch noch lange nach dem Release von PS2 gezockt und habe bis heute keine andere Konsole besessen. Vielleicht wird es aber die PS5 im Neujahr. Mal schauen :)

Best Demo EVER
I played this demo as a kid, and recently I bought it from ebay. MediEvil is my favourite game and it's very interesting to see how the game was in the demo, because this version has some changes compared to the final version. Also, I love Tekken 3, Kula World, Spyro, Crash Bandicoot 3... This Demo is legendary.
I always wanted to play medievil as a kid after playing the demo.
I remember it started on some sort of graveyard when i played the demo
@@pberg9169 I finally got around to experiencing the full game via the Ps4 remake 20+ years later. I can't recommend it enough, it's an extremely loyal remake and without spoiling anything for you, there's a really nice reward for 100% completing it.

My demo was a little different. I got my ps1 in Dec 1998. I could play Gran Turismo, Tekken 3, Kula World, Medieval and Bust a Move. Spyro, Crash and MGS1 were trailers. TR3 wasn’t even on it! 😲

This was an era where me and my mom would go grocery shopping and I'd always come back with a box of cereal. Them boxes always had a disk in it with a PC or PS1 demo, I didnt care about the cereal, all I wanted was that disk

When I was a kid this was the OG demo disk. Lost count of how many times I played through each demo, it would make you think I didn't have full titles.

Back when Games got better every year and not worse, It was a time full of imagination and endless possibilities.
Damn this bring back so many memories. I was 6 years old back then. It seems the demo was a bit different in my imagination... There was also an underwater diving game, where you had to discover stuffs and finding scary sea creatures. And there was also a game where you were a red robot which could walk on walls and in the end you had to kill a big monster... Anyone remember this version?

Couldn't figure out bust a groove back in the day. We were just mashing the button and sometime something would happen.
Also that video of MGS got me to buy the game, but... I was expecting an action game and this was not. I was disappointed at first but the it became my favorite game for a very long time.

1) The menu theme is totally dope, been loving Jason Page's music since Graftgold's _Paradroid 90_ (1990) and _Fire & Ice_ (1992) back in the Amiga 500 days
Just apreciate that the poster bothered to make the video to begin with and you bother to learn another language.

If anything, the poster will appreciate my feedback and next time will bother himself uploading content in a language that is actually useful... and I speak as an Italian.
I played this all the time as a kid. I loved listenting to the spice girls song at 1:30:14.

Lots of Spyro's dragons are still just a textbox without audio too lol

I bought a console and got a demo disc with it and it had a shitload of good content which was working and playable.
You could go to your local tech store an playtest the newest shit. You bought a game, be it new or used on ebay. It was playable from start to finish and it was fun. There was variety and innovation.
Meet you friends, bring a controller and choose one of a dozen actually fun games with split screen.
Compare that to the modern gaming industry where the game is fancy looking, broken as shit with day one patches larger than the game itself. Tons of cut content sold as DLC. A shitload of dead or dying genres. Same game different visuals with "our own touch".
Everyone's sitting alone at home playing the 26th battle royale on broken servers and buying fucking skinpacks and developers do not give a shit.
Fuck off games. It has nothing to do with nostalgia. Modern games just suck ass except a few gems here and there.

How is it possible to feature 1998 - 2000's games in 1997's intro. Did the producer companies exclusively presented gameplay scenes to Sony? For example Spyro Ripto's Rage released later(1999) But you can obviously see scenes from Ripto's Rage in this intro.

I remember a similar disc having ghost in the shell and another game that I can't remember... you'd be a scuba diver and had to "catch" fish? And it had variety, like Manta rays and fih and sharks and you could harpoon them or shoot a net at them, but I really would like to know what game that was... if anyone can help!
A nevermind a quick search fixed it! It was "trasures of the deep" I sort of remembered it as a scuba diving sim but it's actually a game with missions and such... so cool to know!
