This recipe is all about the chopping! It is yummy, I’ve been making this for years!
This (your recipe) Salad was so good .We Love It
I found this recipe on the back of a pack of MARLBORO CIGARETTES !!! now you know if you find a recipe on the back of a pack of cigarettes YOU GOTTA TRY IT !!!!! but it called for BLACK EYED PEAS, GREEN ONIONS , OLIVE OIL, RED WINE VINEGAR, and SALSA !!!!!! and it was pretty damn amazing on corn chips !!!!! .🤠 yeeeeeee haaaaa !!!!!! Dang that's good !!!!!
hahha of all places!
Wonderful recipe! Looks very delicious!!!
Holy moly! My daughter halved this recipe this weekend. I asked her if she was taking it to a party to feed 20 people. Nope, two huge containers are still in my refrigerator! Highly suggest cutting this recipe waaayyyy back!!!
it’s insane how much it makes…. even for a party! def scale waaaaay back 😂😅
This looks so good I would love to try it. Thank You for your feed back it'll help me out a lot being that I have a family of 3.
This recipe amazing and easy 🤩 gonna tried this out
Last time I made a variation of this I took the leftovers and turned it into a Southwestern style soup. Add some broth, maybe some tomato sauce and some chicken and you have a heart and delish soup.
These types of salads are also super common in the south of Europe! They are super yummy but we use more tomato instead of bell peppers!
I just made a variation of this and it is so yummy and healthy. I started Mediterranean WOE and this fits perfectly!
Yumm! 🤠
I was just looking at this recipe and bammmm you do it 😂. Love it. I like this recipe better
it was surprisingly good!
This dish needs that one press dicing chopping thingy. The chopper that’s similar to the Julian slicer but it has the checkerboard design for dicing.
My mom would make this but add pearl couscous and then serve it with some grilled chicken or fish and a lime on the side.
You absolutely could pulse peppers and onions in food processor, just large rough chop prior to processing to ensure even chopping.
Sounds Great with the Mango
Does anyone else love the cowboy caviar from Trader Joe’s? Not sure if they still have it but it used to be a go-to purchase on my occasional trip to TJ’s!
i think they still have it! it’s definitely more salsa like. so good!
I make it all the time minus the honey, it gets better as it sits in the fridge 😊
We eat cowboy caviar in the south/Midwest and it’s so bomb!!! I prefer the black eyed peas and it’s supposed to be pretty tangy.
ouch, that is expensive. I make a version that includes cilantro but no avocado , mango, olives which costs me about $12 per batch. Pretty reasonable for about 7 cup yield. It's so fresh & delicious I often say I could go on a cowboy caviar diet & eat this 3x per day!
Cowboy caviar is good as a veggie and cheese quesadilla as well.
that does sound really good!
Cowboy caviar has been around forever. Good to see a younger generation learn bout it. But it’s definitely a classic.
Is this a food 😂😂😂
That’s a LOT of sugar for a salad… But it’s a great inspirational recipe for a simple salad when you don’t know what to cook, I’ll save it for then. (It would also be incredibly easy to make a child-friendly version for my kids who don’t/can’t eat half of the ingredients 😅)
حبيبتي موفق باذن الله تعالى
I have a question since my stomach and raw bell peppers do not get along; what would be a good alternative to bell peppers in this recipe?
Cucumber!!
@@glitterglossygirl that is a great idea thank you!
Or roast the peppers in the oven (and peel them), they're much easier to digest that way. Or just stir-fry them for a couple of minutes :)
Tomato, cucumber, carrot
Tomato and cucumber, and you’ll have a great greek salad instead 😄
Pretty 💞💞💞
super!
What can be substituted for bell pepper? I am allergic to it.
you could do tomatoes and cucumbers!
Over $30 where are you shopping😭
All of her items were from whole food hence the $$
It would be cool to see you make the original recipe then redo it adding your own twist.
Check out my other delicious dupes- the Jen Aniston or the chipotle ones :)
You can buy all of these items from aldi, it won’t cost you that much
Isn't this just deluxe pico del gallo? It looks really good though
it is! it’s so good i’m still trying to finish it days later 😅😅
Mango? In cowboy caviar? Really? I don’t see Cowboys eating mangoes.
What in the world is this? With all these different ingredients it should be renamed.
I'm sorry, I love YOUR videos, but copying somebody else's recipe is Disaster waiting to happen...that was enough "Caviar" to feed 8-9 people, personally I would have to serve this as a Side to a BBQ Steak and a Baked Potato...so this would actually be for 20-25 people . I personally have tried 50+ UA-cam "Recipes" that were AWEFUL, they left out something , their MATH was wrong, etc. When was the last time you saw a "UA-cam Chef" say that the taste test ,if they even do one, was BLAH, Bad or too Salty? NEVER.
I feel like I have… the Gigi hadid pasta haha and then someone got mad at me for being arrogant by putting it down 🤦🏻♀️ but FR, my recipes are not bad! 😅
@@honeysuckle I know your stuff is great, I've tried a few, some of the time I just watch to learn new techniques or ingredients I've never tried.
