Pro tip; when inserting foam cushions into fabric covers, put the foam cushion in a plastic bag with the opened end facing away from you as you slide it into the fabric cover. It will slide in so easily. Then pull the plastic bag out. Once you have adjusted the fabric into the correct position and zipped it up, steam the entire cushion with your iron. Steam will puff up the foam a bit, filling out the cover and setting the seams to lay flat.
Could steam help a couch cushion that's gone a little flat due to being sat on a lot? I have a favorite spot on my couch but my weight has definitely flattened the spot a bit, lol. The cushions you sit on though aren't removeable. I love everything about my couch except for that. It's not a horrible flat spot, but it'd still be nice to find a DIY way to revive it a bit, other than disconnecting the chaise lounge portion where I like to sit and having the whole thing reupholstered. Not sure if that even could be done with such a couch.
I ❤these thrifting videos. People don’t realize how much unnecessary waste they’re creating by just buying new. So you’re actually saving the planet by doing these videos 😊
If no one bought new, and all furniture manufacturers were to go out of business, the only choice would be to buy used. So the same used furniture could just be donated over and over again, right? A 20 year old sofa that has been recycled through 10 families sounds great, huh? Seems like to me that there should be a continuous cycle of new furniture that will be resold or donated at some point. Another thought, just think of how many jobs would be lost if all manufacturers and furniture stores closed.
I guess I’m old school, but I think you should have finished the sides of the corner cabinet. It’s just that little extra that makes such a difference when you are selling a DIY.
Yes , it would of finished it off better. And the same with the back of the chair arms. I like details to be finished and it looks more professional especially as they were priced higher.
I actually know what you mean, but something that can look really kinda dumb in most settings can just work SO well in others. I also am seeing more shell type stuff and agree its going to hit soon.

Maybe not the whole house but one or two rooms. I am here in Burbank and my 1941 home has many design challenges. (Having said that, I would volunteer mine… Lol!)
Great job Drew! Can't believe that chair sold for so much! I used to have that entire (matching) set of furniture (sofa, loveseat, 2 chairs, coffee table, 2 end tables). Since it had a "rustic" vibe, we put it in our vacation rental cabin.

You are just so cute and inspiring. I had a rough travel day so watched you to wind down. I love thrift flipping videos! I’m trying to gather the bravery to flip some furniture so this was fun to watch.
Fabulous!!!! More of your handy work (and Justin) yes please!!!!!!!
I enjoy all your content, and this was definitely something I would love to continue seeing
If you put a dry cleaners bag over the cushion then it is really easy to put the foam into the fabric, then remove the plastic bag.
I love all the creativity behind your Thrifting resale videos. Please keep those up if you can.
Another thing I like is watching you take on a makeover of a person’s home. Maybe not the whole house but one or two rooms. I am here in Burbank and my 1941 home has many design challenges.
(Having said that, I would volunteer mine… Lol!)
I love this type of videos. You are certainly very talented with design.
I love you and Justin. You both work well together. Thanks for a great video.
I love these videos! Please do more of this. Except for the sewing, most are things the handy person can recreate at home. 😊
Great job Drew!
Can't believe that chair sold for so much!
I used to have that entire (matching) set of furniture (sofa, loveseat, 2 chairs, coffee table, 2 end tables).
Since it had a "rustic" vibe, we put it in our vacation rental cabin.
I Love, Love, Love your Work!❤❤❤
❤ love to see you shop, craft, produce 🎉
That was great I love to repurpose and sell!!! Don’t forget the time you put into making those cushion covers!
The makeovers were great, I wish I had room for more furniture. I would have painted the back of the corner unit, how smart you are to know it wasn’t necessary at all.
Love this content and how you give new life to older items.
I love these thrifting videos!
Love, Love, Love these thrifting videos, you are so talented and give me such inspiration, always love the colors you chose be it paint or fabric.
