I am a nephrologist and kidney doctor who believes that the best tool to reduce the burden of kidney disease globally is not medication, lab tests, or even genetics research. Instead, knowledge of kidney disease can best protect our kidneys.
This channel is part of the kidney disease awareness project I have worked on for years. It started with long conversations with kidney patients in the office and hospital. During these conversations, I was perplexed to see patients’ lack of knowledge about their kidney disease.
To fill this gap, I developed a blog for kidney disease patients, “Kidneyblogs.com,” where patients could find the correct information-and access a nephrologist for kidney-related questions. But then, I realised that not all Urdu- and Hindi-speaking patients could read English, and many preferred listening. This revelation led to the formation of the UA-cam channel you will explore.

I went through your video with lot of interest - 4 to 5 time to ensure my doubt
From this I came to know that diabetis will affect kidney even in pre-diabetic stage & without any proteinurea . As a result kidney size will increase - kidney enlargement.
In this scenario please educate me to get the ultrasound done frequently to check kidney size OR any other method.

Sir, please make an video on how antacid damage the kidney function since we are taking it almost regularly. I am an indian and here no restrictions are there to obtain it from pharmacy.

Sir my mother have diabetes from past 10 years and her age is 55 years recently i test her for creatinine with egfr which is 0.8 creatinine and egfr is 74 only
Spot urine protein=4 mg/dl
Spot urine creatinine= 29.7 mg/dl
And ratio is 135 mg/g
But she eat read meat 2 hours befor test
Urin C/E man protein negative but sugar 4 points
She is taking empagliflizon/metformin 12.5/1000 twice a day with getryl 2mg and Methix once a day

Dr sahab I am dibetic and hypertensive patient in last 12yrs..once my acr came 62.75 mg...That time I am worried..My Hb1ac was 7.5%.But my dr prescribed me ACE inhabitor sglt2 and dpp4 combination....I am change my lifestyle diet and follow yours different video and yours comments give me power...Right now last lab test in this month...It was 8.42 mg...Dr shab done daily 1 to 1 1/2 hours exercise...If I maintained this lifestyle and diet it can worse...BP is 130/80....Bmi 23.14.have any chance for ckd.Dr sahab pls replies.
