Getting to see these live was magical and it's hard to appreciate sometimes just how difficult and how much brainstorming had to go into figuring parts of this out without being there.
Yep, this channel is a Gem! This was the last video in the challenge runs playlist. Thanks a lot for such fantastic and awesome videos. I really enjoy them and can't wait for new stuff ;)
Feels weird watching this after watching all the live videos! Still, glad you managed to keep your sanity whilst doing this and this final edit video is well made. Good luck on your next run, I’ll be around to watch! 😁
this game is one of my all time favourites and it's nice to see what one can actually do with this game still. Both of your vids I've seen entertained me lots!
Found the channel yesterday and have been binging the vids. Amazing work, really enjoying these challenges and the production put behind it. Keep it up :) Also, Timesplitters 2 is just a superb game. Used to love this back in the day and would often set ridiculous split-screen challenges for me and my friends.
Yep! There are 3 games like that. I grabbed anaco da and the spaceship one. Didn't grab the other one. I used to play anaconda a bunch as a kid when I was fiddling around in the game
That was my initial plan. But, the amount of resets, especially when meleeing everyone, would be too much because you often pick up weapo s when you KO someone that close. I'm not saying it's impossible, it's probably more doable on easy
Definitely a possibility in the future for sure. Will have to investigate what challenge run I could do. Would be interesting considering FP is the only one I didn't play as a child
@@sirrando In some ways FP is easier as in most levels you have an AI buddy to fight for you. I don't recall him/her being immortal though but could be wrong.
Okay, that second level intro - if the MGS videos didn't draw me closer to you, that did. A brit going for an old timey accent for the 1930's in a goon mafialand world. Absolutely astonishing. I had a chuckle out of that one. You're a stroke of genius, mate.
The levels where you start with weapons more ended up making me wonder how a strict unarmed-only run would shake out (with only exceptions for when progression is strictly impossible without using a weapon, like the mines in Siberia or the Electrotool in Robot Factory). Atom Smasher was easily the most interesting level to see detailed in this, while the levels with starting weapons largely felt like standard playthroughs where you just don't use the level's power weapons (Wild West especially, the only real difference is not using the dual revolvers or rifle, not much to forsake there). Would definitely be way, way harder, of course - still a good chance Atom Smasher ends up being the peak of the run's difficulty anyway, but I could see Space Station in particular becoming a massive problem.
You are right there, atom smasher was definitely the best. I am also kind of annoyed with myself that I used the crossbow, I should have banned that. I just thought the idea of "without picking up guns" sounded more intruiguing than "without weapons" Atom smasher aswell would be completely impossible without the mines which would be banned in a no weapon run. Its definitely a 6 of one, half a dozen of the other situation.
I need to go back and replay this classic. I gave up at Neotokyo as a kid like many, because Stealth sucks. Would be nice to get to the later levels and experience the rest of it, as well as beat it.
Honestly. If you follow what I did for neotokyo at the beginning. It's fine. Just a bit of waiting around. And the checkpoint is right after finishing the stealth section It is a great game though!
Also, for Wild West, you can just destroy the wooden crates and they blow up, igniting the gunpowder. You know that wooden crate that is destroyed in the picture at 19:19? Yeah... Neat to learn about the lamp though wtf
Im glad so see you have been enjoying my videos so far! This is a great game,. I have so many memories making maps and running around them playing multiplayer with my friends as a kid
I agree that the crossbow isn't a gun, but it would have been interesting to see how you get through the level... PS: The Atom Smasher gun "glitch" in my opinion was clearly not using your gun as the only way to actually use a gun in this game by the games standard is shooting it, which you didnt. I also feel your pain completing the level at all 😅
As time has passed, I agree, I really wish I had spent more time smashing my head against the golems, the could have been a ridiculous level. I think at the time, I was a babby rando, and didnt have the fortitude following on from atom smasher.
Would you be able to use the Homing Launcher in Planet X? You don't technically pick it up, you pick its parts up then build it yourself. Technicality or nah?
7:47 i legit misheard "and he'll proceed" as "Anal P***y" i had to listen to it 4 times before it clicked. overall good run Rando, good run. I'm honestly trying to think of some challenges that could be prove challenging... sadly nothing comes to mind atm. Looking forward to your next video.
Ha! That's all I can hear now too 😂 Glad you enjoyed the video! I have a few ideas for future runs lined up. I have just started one for MGS3. There is such scope for playing games wrong I'm sure we will find some interesting ones
It might be doable. I might follow up with the easier levels done on hard. That's possible for sure. I do t know if atom smasher is possible on hard though lol. Might be worth investigating
There’s a certain charm to this that I can’t explain, I can’t wait to for this channel to be blessed by the algorithm
That would be pretty cool!l
It started. Got the MGS3 with no camo and tranq vid recommended to me, watched it in one sitting and started this one straight away
@@bluebloodyellowteeth Thank you! Glad your having fun watching my videos!
Your videos are awesome, also watched your mgs 3 ,mgs my favgames by far, keep up the good work bro
@@sirrando I like your video style. Best of luck with the algorithm. Seems like its starting to notice you.
Your commentary has a child like enthusiasm as you play and its very refreshing.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
3:00 nice to see the supervillain is an equal opportunity employer
😂
The ratings /10 helped me understand the pain perfectly
Much yes. very rating

Love the Metal Gear Ac!d music @10:32 this series of videos are fantastic, keep up the great work!
Ac!d 1 and 2 both have some great music, glad your enjoying them!
At the start of Atom Smasher you can access that control panel and turn off the cameras as well lol, luckily it didn't seem to be too much of an issue
You can WHAT?
It was OK. But I did get quite a few resets because of those cameras!

Yeah, I felt that pain, intimately.
Im still feeling the after effects to this very day
Just found your channel today and I love the videos and unique humour; keep it up
Thanks! I'm glad your enjoying watching them as much as I am making them!
Dude, the whole video i could've sworn you had tens of thousands of subs!
Excellent Video!

Time splitters was such a good multilayer game. I had great fun with it.
Glad you have been enjoyingbthe videos!
Just saw this on the tier list on your latest upload and oh my god this game was my childhood what an amazing game
Do you know about the snake mini game in the first mission
Yep! There are 3 games like that. I grabbed anaco da and the spaceship one. Didn't grab the other one.
I used to play anaconda a bunch as a kid when I was fiddling around in the game
You deserve alottttt more subs my man, hope you get more recognition asap
That means a lot, glad your enjoying the videos!
How possible would a run be where you actually dont pick up weapons, opposed to just not using them?
Loved the video. I love everything Timesplitters.
That was my initial plan.
But, the amount of resets, especially when meleeing everyone, would be too much because you often pick up weapo s when you KO someone that close.

12:19 Ha, that zombie was killed by the other zombie
Yup. Infighting is a solid strategy
That was a fun video. Definitely good to see Timesplitters again. Are you planning to do Future Perfect?

Really well made video, youre a legend for completing it
Thanks! glad you had fun!
My childhood, the music in this game is great, free radical were pretty awesome
The music is SOOOO good. The composer Graeme Norgate still sells the OST on his bandcamp
I only just came across your channel and I'm rather enjoying it. Thank you for the video.

THERES A GRENADE LAUNCHER IN AZTEC?!
Amazing.

1:15 are you allowed to use that pistol?
Nope, can't use it as I didn't bring the silenced pistol into the level with me

Pretty normal day for Chicago.
it does sometimes appear to be like that from over the pond
😂 Uses mines on the guards
well, its not a gun!
why the fuck do i heart he shadow clone pop sound from naruto at the start xD though it may not be from naruto if it was in time splitters already xD
Im not sure which SFX you are on about, timestamp?
@@sirrando i dont know if im autistic but i hear it clearly at the start from the video 0:00 - 0:03 listen closely to the shoot sounds xD
That is very much a SFX in game, it was an exerpt taken from stream.

For the algorithm. I love watching people suffer 🙂
