Oh I definitely feel that. People all the time do ask many stupid questions. For me though, I’ve sold many things on this platform that I wouldn’t have sold otherwise, so I will keep using it. I hope you enjoyed the video and hope to see you in another one. ☝️
I find people only “low ball” when you’re selling your item $10 below brand new. I see thousands of posts at basically retail, bro, nobody is going to drive halfway across town to pay retail for something Amazon will bring to your door. TLDR: your price is too high for a used item
Yeah, and then you get Retards trying to sell their stuff for what it was worth 10 years ago. And then get mad when you offer a reasonable amount for it.
Thank you so much for the comment and for watching my video! I hope you’ll consider subscribing so I see you again in a future video because I definitely plan on making more Facebook marketplace videos! There is plenty more in the pipeline😏
Your information is appreciated. I have been in sales for 50 years, I did not understand the basic rules and strategies of selling applies to Facebook Marketplace. Thank you.
Awesome! Thank you for the very nice comment and I hope my video was able to help you out in some way! I definitely plan to make more Facebook marketplace videos in the future, so I hope you’ll consider subscribing so my small channel can grow! Appreciate you watching the video and I hope you have a great day!😎
Hi Riley, I'm a Facebook Marketplace newbie. I found your video to be extremely helpful to watch. The tips you mentioned were great. Thank you for your insights.
I’m super glad that it was helpful to you! I always plan on making more Facebook marketplace videos in the future, so I hope you’re able to subscribe so you can help my small channel grow! I hope to see you in another video and keep on selling!!😊
Great video, you made a good point on how to approach messaging. I’ve sold 100s of items on Facebook and never even tired to put more effort into communicating! Great stuff keep it up
Thanks so much for taking the time to watch my video Brad! I really appreciate it! In case you are interested, I also made a video last year talking about more tips on Facebook marketplace, it might also be able to help you out: How to Sell Items Faster on Facebook Marketplace 2023 ua-cam.com/video/2D9-20A7jjE/v-deo.html If you weren’t able to, I really hope you’d also consider subscribing as it would really help my small channel grow, plus I’ll be posing more Facebook marketplace videos in the future! Appreciate you watching! Hope to see you again!👍
Then there are those that say, "I can come get it at 6pm. "I will message you for the address before I start out". And then I never hear from them again.
I personally never give anyone by address until right before they say they would pick it up. I know some people may not even be comfortable with that, and for those situations it’s best to meet at a public place. I agree though, it can be difficult to find trustworthy buyers on this platform at times.
The absolute WORST people to deal with are those who send you offers of 25% of your asking price, and you've already priced your item below most sellers with the similar item for sale. I've given up at selling my items for next to nothing. I don't even want to respond to these people (which is a pretty large % of them). After years of selling I've gotten a good feel for who the serious buyers are and I don't waste much of my time trying to promote the items I'm selling.
Yeah to be honest I usually don’t set my offers to be able to be lower than 75% of the asking price or else I feel like it would just be abused. I would say sometimes, probably more often than not, I’ll get someone that is asking me questions about something and they act like they are really interested, but then they just stop responding. I used to think I was good at telling the “real” people, like I’d look at their Facebook profile to tell, but now even the ones that seem legit can back out. But then sometimes someone who seems “fake” actually end up being real. So basically, you don’t always know what you’re going to get on Facebook! Really appreciate you watching my video, and I hope you’ll consider subscribing so I’ll see you in another one! Otherwise, I hope you have a great day!👍
Even when my prices were substantially lower than everyone else’s, people would routinely message asking if I would accept half the listing price. Half! I now just list items at the average price.
The absolute best thing to do is click report buyer, lowball offer. Then block them so you never have to deal with them again. If they get several reports for lowball offer, they are likely to get banned/suspended
Wonderful video. Thank you. I used to be in over the phone sales. I realize that I haven't been using those skills. Thank you! Small note. Your outro was about a minute and a half too long. Great info.
Great advice! Thanks for watching the video! I really appreciate your support! And yeah, I probably was a bit too lengthy with the outro, I’ll definitely clean it up for future videos. Thanks again for watching and I hope you’ll consider subscribing so I can see you in future videos! Have a great day!!
Thank you so much for watching my video! Appreciate you! I have actually already made a shipping video for 2023, but will be making a new one soon for 2023! If you’re interested in that video, the link is here! How to Ship Items Faster on Facebook Marketplace 2023 ua-cam.com/video/oNN_Whmkamk/v-deo.html Thanks so much for watching my channel again! I hope you’ll consider subscribing as it really helps my small channel grow. Hope to see you in another one!👍
Absolutely! Just because you post in a group does not mean that you shouldn’t renew because your listing is also live in Facebook marketplace, and renewing pushes it up to the top! Hope that helps and you sell your items soon!
I love your explanations for posting on FB. My grandson just graduated from UW Stevens Point in May. Thank you for step by step instructions. Very helpful!
Thank you so much for watching my video! And that is so cool! I also graduated from UWSP in 2021, with a major in Data Analytics! What did your grandson major in? I really loved that school! I am also glad I was able to help! Appreciate the support, thank you Becky! Hope to see you in another video!
He graduated with a major in Geospacial Science. His parents own a lake house in Pardeeville, WI, so he lives there now. He was offered a job in his field before graduating.
I’m so glad I was able to help! Thank you so much for your comment and I really appreciate you watching the video! I definitely plan to make many more Facebook marketplace videos in the future, so I really hope you’ll consider subscribing so you could help my small channel grow more and more! Otherwise, I hope you have a great rest of your day!😃
Okay learn something new engagement and responding with descriptive statements plus joining groups - So information thanks again for keeping in me the know!
Thanks for checking out another one of my videos! Can’t express how much it’s appreciated and you’re helping my small channel grow. More videos are on the way, so I hope to see you in another one and glad I was able to help!😊
Groups, especially ones that are focused on selling things in your area, are a way that you can get exposure on your products. More eyes on your item mean that it will likely sell faster. I have sold directly to people before because they saw the item in a group that they otherwise may not have seen while browsing on Facebook Marketplace.
I do alcohol ink art: greeting cards, tiles, ceramic pots, etc. I could use some advice! I really want to sell on FB. I totally agree with the fuller communication! I do that anyway!
I’m glad you are interested in selling and I really appreciate you watching my video! I hope I was able to help you out a bit. I will be making more Facebook marketplace videos in the future, so I hope you’ll consider subscribing so you can see those videos! Otherwise, I hope you have a great rest of your day!😊
Thank you so much for your comment and for watching my video! Your support means the world to me!!😄 I hope you’re able to consider subscribing so I see you in the future, because I definitely plan on making more Facebook marketplace videos! Otherwise, I hope you have a great rest of your day!!😊
Glad it was helpful! You’re the reason I make these types of videos, to help people like you, so thank you so much for watching! I hope you enjoyed the video and you’ll consider subscribing so you can help my small channel grow more! Otherwise, I hope you have a great weekend!!😃

Awesome!! Thank you so much for subbing to my channel! Growing my channel slowly but surely lol, but one step at a time! I appreciate the support and hope to see you in another video!
Thank you very much for your nice comment! I’ve been trying to put more effort into my videos this year, and I hope it shows! If you like Facebook Marketplace videos, I’ll definitely be making plenty more of those in the future, so I hope you can consider subscribing so I see you in another video! Thanks a lot for watching again and I hope to see you in the future!🙂
Glad I was able to help! Thank you so much for your nice comment and for watching my video! I honestly don’t even remember my first sale, it’s been so long! Everything I’ve ever put on Facebook generally sells within a day to a couple of weeks. Something obviously like AirPods will go really fast, but more specific things, like shoes, will take slightly longer. Just use the tips I mentioned and I know you’ll succeed! Keep grinding! I do really appreciate you watching the video and hope you’ll consider subscribing so I can have you in the future! Thanks again!
Any ideas on words to describe your repurposed home decor? It's not exactly New but it's not exactly Used. Some parts of my things are new but some parts are used. Thank you for the video.
If it’s not new, I would just set the condition to be “used - like new“. As overall I think that best represents the condition of the product. Then in the description, you can explain everything that you told me so the buyers are fully aware. Anyway, thanks for the support and thanks for watching this video! I hope you’re able to subscribe so I see you in future content, as I’m always making more Facebook marketplace videos!😃
I give the "yes" response to the stupid "is this available" message because 99% of the time these lazy people aren't going to buy it anyway and I don't want to waste my time with a longer answer.
I can understand that. You have to do what’s best for you. I personally don’t get too many people that are not interested in what I’m selling after they ask “is this available?” but it does happen sometimes. Hopefully you found some parts of the video helpful, and I appreciate you watching. Hope to see you in another one👍
Great video Riley! Wanted to alert you that the word "Engagement" is spelled incorrectly in Tip #3. It states Community Engegment. Keep up the good work!!
Darn, thanks for catching that!!! Too bad I can’t go into the video and change it. Oh well, hopefully that’s the biggest mistake I made haha. Thanks for watching the video and I hope you’ve subscribed so I will see you in another video! I’d love to have you as I’m trying to grow my small channel!😃
Anyone know if the "quantity" option is gone on marketplace? If I have 100 of the same item to sell, do I now have to list it 100 times 1 by 1? Also this royally screws up my ad spend. For a single ad if I had a quantity of 100 for one listing, I could throw hundreds of dollars at one single ad... now.. just $1-2 per ad at a time and no sales that way. Am I wrong or did they royally screw this all up for sellers?
I want to sell so many things, but I had no idea how much I should sell my stuffs for. I don't want to overprice it, but I also don't want to sell it for lower price. I'd want a profit of course. Anyway, I want to get rid of all the stuffs I don't use.
My advice for this is to look on Facebook marketplace for the things that you are selling! As long as you are not the only one selling that item, you should be able to get an idea how much it will go for. Also look up how much that item is selling for brand new and discount based on the condition. Hope that helps! Hope you’ll consider subscribing so I’ll see you in a future video, because more Facebook marketplace videos will be coming in the future!
Can you provide any tips on automating the enquiry process while still providing good communication? Sometimes I have a few hundred listings active, and answering enquiries takes 5+ hours some days. I don't want to be glued to my phone in the evenings. I would love to hear your thoughts. Thank you.
I’m sorry, but I am not familiar with any levels of automation for Facebook marketplace. I just list things manually and don’t use it to the point where I would need any automation. Sorry I wasn’t able to provide more info!
Yeah, the top things that irritate me are people who talk as if they're going to buy somethimg from you and back out at the last moment. You end up wasting a lot of time just responding to and waiting for people who aren't even actually going to buy it.
All that I did for groups was search for the city that I live in (or also nearby) and then different types of groups came up like, "stuff for sale in..." or maybe even "garage sale in...". I live in a smaller city though, so I'm not sure how this will translate to a bigger one, if that is where you are. Basically just search the city, and then hopefully facebook recommends the right ones to you! It worked for me anyway 😃 Hope this helps! I will be making more Facebook Marketplace videos in the future, so I hope you'll consider subscribing and I hope to see you in another video! Otherwise, have a great day!
Absolutely! I love making Facebook marketplace videos! I hope you’ll consider subscribing so I see you in another video, otherwise have a great rest of your day!😊
Glad you liked the video and thank you so much for watching! I hope you’re able to subscribe because I have more Facebook marketplace videos coming in the very near future! Hope to see you in another video!
I use Facebook marketplace to sell but I can't always give a quick response. My hours are all over the place. People don't understand that I can't be available every second and when I do respond that's when I can respond even though it may not be quick. This needs to change. A quick response isn't something all people can give!
I understand that you may not be able to give a response at all times based on your job. That was just simply a tip or a suggestion, it’s still better to respond quickly, but as long as you’re doing the best you can that’s great!
Ive never had a real person message me about an item i am selling. Its all scammers saying they will send their cousin, husband, brother, sister or mom to come pick it up then they ask for your zelle or venmo and thats usually your real name then they will use your real name to whatever. Apparently it works for them.
Scammers are definitely real. It’s something you always have to keep an eye out while using Facebook marketplace. I actually just made a video recently where I explained the story of how my UA-cam channel started because I was scammed on Facebook marketplace!😭 I share a story similar to the one that you were talking about if you’re interested in that video: How I Was Scammed on Facebook Marketplace 2024 ua-cam.com/video/m58_RQmqdwY/v-deo.html I hope you’re able to avoid being scammed in the future! I definitely plan on making more Facebook marketplace videos in the future, so I hope you’re able to subscribe to my channel so I can help you out. Otherwise, I hope you have a great day!👍
I dont know how to list which is why Im searching how to....also Can we set up NOTIFICATIONS just for what we are seller on the Market Place...and NOT for everything else on Facebook?
Facebook notifications are something that I do not have much advice on, I completely turned them off because I hate receiving any sort of notifications from Facebook. Besides marketplace, I find Facebook to be fairly useless🙃 Sorry I’m not able to provide much help about this! I wouldn’t want to steer you in the wrong direction! At first glance in the Facebook app, I don’t see anything about marketplace notifications though. Hope the video was able to help somewhat! Hope you’ll consider subscribing so I see you in a future video! Have a great rest of your day!😃
Glad I was able to help! Thank you so much for the kind words! If you haven’t already, I hope you’ll consider subscribing as I plan to make many more Facebook marketplace videos in the future! It would help grow my small channel more and more!😊 otherwise, I hope you have a great day as well!!
We list our location in every single listing... We still get messages "location?" We get the generic "Is this still available" question... We get ghosted regardless if we answer with a single "Yes" or "Yes... would you like to set up a time to pick up?" Seems a lot of time wasters and tire kickers on Marketplace.
Honestly, this can be very true. A lot of times I will be having conversations with people who may be interested, and then they suddenly stop responding and it ended up being a waste of time. Unfortunately, I'm not sure there is a good way around this, as this is pretty common. Basically I just try to be the "nice guy" and eventually someone is really interested and does end up buying what I am selling. Also, thanks for watching my video! I do really appreciate any support, so I hope to see you in another one!😁
Wow! That is probably one of the dumbest things I’ve ever heard of someone saying haha💀🪦 I’m hoping you were still able to get your console sold haha! Thanks for watching and supporting the channel, I hope to see you in a future video!
Thanks for the video! I do all these things and used to (like you) sell every single item I listed, usually within hours. A few weeks ago I listed a luxury brand sweater and FB immediately flagged it as counterfeit (of course it wasn't!) Ever since that, my engagement has dropped to nearly nothing and I sporadically get warnings that say "your FB marketplace is at risk." I've messaged them from the support inbox and haven't heard back. Do you have any tips on what to do when these types of problems arise?
I’ve seen this error one time for a random item, I don’t even remember what it was haha! But I wouldn’t let that discourage you from using Facebook and making some extra money! I just ignored that message, kept posting, and everything has been fine for me! Maybe you could try rewording the item and description slightly. Otherwise, I’ll definitely be making more Facebook marketplace videos in the future so I hope you’ll consider subscribing so I can see you again in the future! Hope you have a great day!😁
@@rileyreform Oh! That's great advice. OK I'll just keep trying. Actually you were good luck, after I watched your video I sold some big stuff! Haha thank you!
Hi,I have a problem with Facebook marketplace, that is, customer messages are coming very less, and only two to three messages are coming in 24 hours, what is the reason, and how can I get rid of it, I need your advice. want
I’m certainly no Facebook marketplace expert, but I do have a few tips. First, make sure all your items you’re listing are following the Facebook marketplace guidelines. Sometimes things are not allowed to be posted on Facebook, like event tickets, so you’ll just want to check that out. Second, make sure the things you’re posting are relevant. If nobody is interested in those things or if there isn’t a market, it would be quite hard to sell. Third, just make sure you’re using the tips and tricks on Facebook marketplace that I discuss in my videos. Check out my channel for more videos. If you do all of that, I’m sure the messages will follow! I definitely plan to make more Facebook marketplace videos in the future, so I really hope you’ll consider subscribing so you’ll see more videos in the future. Otherwise, I hope you have a great rest of your day! 😃
I know if you’re using an iPhone, when you give Facebook access to your photos, you can select which photos you want them to have access to. I know that’s an option for people that don’t want them to access their whole library. Otherwise, to post pictures I think you’d be out of luck. Thanks for watching!
I’m sorry to hear that! Pretty unfair of that person messaging to do that. Unfortunately, I do not think there is a way around this or a way to fix it. Hopefully this does not happen to your daughter again though!!
Same. Wanted it for 20% of the retail value. I replied in a friendly manner that I would split the difference of her offer. “Is that fair?” Her reply “No!” Me: That’s fine. it’s already priced to sell. Let me know if you change your mind. Have a nice day. Buyer “You too” I sold it two days later for the asking price, no hassles. I guess she had been watching the ad and immediately gave me a 1-star review because I wouldn’t give her the unreasonable discount she demanded. Fb needs to fix this. Her bogus review knocked me down from a perfect score of 5/5, down to 3.5. You don’t get your perfect score back after the next 5-star review. No, I have to gain THREE more 5-star sales before I get my legitimately earned score. Don’t judge ppl’s scores, it’s tough to maintain a high score with all the clowns throwing a tantrum, and unfairly messing with your ability to sell. I have sold just two things since the bad review. I’m hoping to gain back my visibility so I can continue. It’s far too easy to someone’s hard earned revenue atm.
Then find your listing from on a friends FB Marketplace.. and the MAIN photo you chose i.e. Photo number 1 will be changed to a RANDOM photo ! It will look right when you view it on your own FB Marketplace.. but to everyone buying it WONT be how you set it out because it is BROKEN and they are too lazy to fix it.. Been like it for over a year !
I tried to do a little research for you, and I don’t think you are allowed to sell digital items on Facebook marketplace. Check out this article I found that was directly from Facebook: facebook.com/policies_center/commerce/subscriptions_and_digital_products Hope that helps! You might have to find another platform to list digital items. I do plan to make more Facebook videos in the future on topics like this so I hope you’re able to subscribe so I see you in the future. Thank you so much for watching!😃
If you’ve never listed anything before, I still think that you have a chance of getting noticed for sure because everybody does have to start out somewhere. My recommendation is just to price whatever you’re selling pretty competitively and if that product is in demand, you should still get interest. Once you sell your first, it will be much easier in the future. After your first few sales, make sure you also request reviews from them so future sales will be easier for you! I hope this helps. I’m always making more Facebook marketplace videos so I hope you’ll consider subscribing so I see you in a future video. Otherwise, I hope you have a great rest of your day!😃
Depends on what you are selling and how much demand that item has that you’re selling! Generally I would say I always sell my items within a month or so after creating a listing. Hope this helps! If you follow the tips and tricks in my videos, you’ll be sure to sell your items faster! The next video I’m publishing is actually about Facebook marketplace, so make sure you subscribe and stay tuned for that! Thanks for watching and have a great day!!😃
I’m not 100% sure the context on this one. I’ve never seen the ability to add tags to a Facebook Marketplace listing, I’ve seen tagging products on Facebook, but not on Facebook Marketplace. If this is what you are referring to, perhaps this article could help: facebook.com/business/help/443253533085203 If that’s not what you’re looking for, I’m not too familiar with tagging so I apologize.
On Facebook when you are listing a product there is an option to change a zip code, but I do not know anything about being able to list in other countries. Perhaps a good concept for a future video! Thanks for watching, hope I’ll see you in the next one!
Sorry, I'm not quite following. What exactly is not working? I'm able to get on Facebook Marketplace and everything works for me. Maybe if you are more specific I might be able to help you out or guide you in the right direction😃
I generally try to browse someone’s profile to see if they are a real buyer. If they get likes, make actual posts, and have interaction, chances are they are real. If they are locked, it would obviously be harder to tell. I would just go with your gut, if something seems off, it probably is! Hope that kinda helps! I’m consistently making more videos, so I hope you’ll consider subscribing so I can see you in another one! Hope you have a great day!😃
Hi Riley, thanks a lot for those valuable tips, those tips works super well with me for sure, I really recommend for beginners who is using facebook market. I have a question to you Riley, sometimes when I want to post USED branded item on FB market my post get deleted and I get warning the I have violating the community guidelines, then when I do the appeal FB threats me with losing access to the market?! would you please advice me. Thanks :)
Hello! Thanks so much for watching my video! The only advice I would have for this is to double check that the item you are listing does not break any community guidelines. The guidelines can be found at this link: facebook.com/policies_center/commerce Assuming you are not breaking any of these, maybe you should just try to reword your listing, as something is being automatically flagged that should not be. Hopefully that helps! I will also be making more Facebook marketplace videos in the future, so I hope you consider subscribing as it will help my small channel grow! Thanks again!😊
thanks a lot for replying, your assumption is right, I've tried to rephase my listing title but after two days the same thing happened. I will try to read again FB policies. thanks again for your time, looking forward to learn from your new videos keep up the good work @@rileyreform
It’s always good to check the profile for sure! There are plenty of scammers on this platform and the more that you can avoid, the better! My next video is actually going to be about Facebook marketplace scammers, so if that’s something you’d be interested in, please consider hitting the subscribe button so you can help my small channel grow! Otherwise, I hope you have a great rest of your day!😃
Looking for a "FB Marketplace" expert. Would like to chat with someone for just a minute or two. We were selling decent then it came to an abrupt halt. Not gradual. Our other platform hasn't changed. If you are this person, and don't mind chatting for a few, let me know.
Any questions you may have you are free to comment. I make Facebook marketplace videos but I am by no means an expert of the Facebook marketplace algorithm, that is well beyond my pay grade🤫 I do appreciate you reaching out and if you follow the tips and tricks in my Facebook marketplace videos, I’m sure it will lead to your success! Thanks so much for watching and I hope you’ll consider subscribing so I see you in a future video!👊
When I said relevant, I more meant listing things that people are actually interested in buying. For example, if you listed a snowblower in the middle of the summer, not as many people may be interested in it because people aren’t thinking of snow in July (at least where I’m from) but if you listed that snowblower in November people might be thinking, wow it’s going to snow soon so I should buy a snowblower! That’s not to say you can’t still list it, but some things are relevant to the time that you post them. Hope that makes sense! Thanks for watching and I hope to see you in another video!
I stopped listing on fb marketplace because there are way too many low ballers. People ask all kinds of stupid questions.
I am almost speechless. Your video is so direct to the point and informative. Thank you.
Thank you so much for the comment and for watching my video! I hope you’ll consider subscribing so I see you again in a future video because I definitely plan on making more Facebook marketplace videos! There is plenty more in the pipeline😏

Yep, I consider any offers more than 20% an insult. These people are almost always a waste of time. Ignore them
The absolute best thing to do is click report buyer, lowball offer. Then block them so you never have to deal with them again. If they get several reports for lowball offer, they are likely to get banned/suspended
Just ignore them. Keep it moving
love the video just subscribed
Thank you so much for the support! Looking forward to seeing you in future videos!

Thanks so much for watching my channel again! I hope you’ll consider subscribing as it really helps my small channel grow. Hope to see you in another one!👍
Thanks for this helpful throughout video! I was wondering if I should renew my listing when I list in the groups?
Absolutely! Just because you post in a group does not mean that you shouldn’t renew because your listing is also live in Facebook marketplace, and renewing pushes it up to the top! Hope that helps and you sell your items soon!
Nice bro you earned a sub ❤ much respect all the way from South Africa 🇿🇦
Awesome!!! Thank you so much for subscribing and look forward to seeing you in future videos!😃
I love your explanations for posting on FB. My grandson just graduated from UW Stevens Point in May. Thank you for step by step instructions. Very helpful!

Do you mind telling me how joining groups gon help?
Groups, especially ones that are focused on selling things in your area, are a way that you can get exposure on your products. More eyes on your item mean that it will likely sell faster. I have sold directly to people before because they saw the item in a group that they otherwise may not have seen while browsing on Facebook Marketplace.
I do alcohol ink art: greeting cards, tiles, ceramic pots, etc. I could use some advice! I really want to sell on FB.
I totally agree with the fuller communication! I do that anyway!

Great video bro! How long did it take for you to get your first sale?! I just started out yesterday putting listings up and listening to your tips
Love this and was wondering how I can best judge what groups I should share in?
All that I did for groups was search for the city that I live in (or also nearby) and then different types of groups came up like, "stuff for sale in..." or maybe even "garage sale in...". I live in a smaller city though, so I'm not sure how this will translate to a bigger one, if that is where you are. Basically just search the city, and then hopefully facebook recommends the right ones to you! It worked for me anyway 😃
Hope this helps! I will be making more Facebook Marketplace videos in the future, so I hope you'll consider subscribing and I hope to see you in another video! Otherwise, have a great day!
Thanks for the info.

Nice and informative video.. Thanks

I actually just made a video recently where I explained the story of how my UA-cam channel started because I was scammed on Facebook marketplace!😭
I share a story similar to the one that you were talking about if you’re interested in that video:

Can we set up NOTIFICATIONS just for what we are seller on the Market Place...and NOT for everything else on Facebook?
Facebook notifications are something that I do not have much advice on, I completely turned them off because I hate receiving any sort of notifications from Facebook. Besides marketplace, I find Facebook to be fairly useless🙃
Sorry I’m not able to provide much help about this! I wouldn’t want to steer you in the wrong direction! At first glance in the Facebook app, I don’t see anything about marketplace notifications though.
Hope the video was able to help somewhat! Hope you’ll consider subscribing so I see you in a future video! Have a great rest of your day!😃

We list our location in every single listing... We still get messages "location?"
We get the generic "Is this still available" question... We get ghosted regardless if we answer with a single "Yes" or "Yes... would you like to set up a time to pick up?"
Seems a lot of time wasters and tire kickers on Marketplace.
Sometimes people on Facebook marketplace are so stupid I was selling a console and someone asked if I could sell their car for them ☠
Wow! That is probably one of the dumbest things I’ve ever heard of someone saying haha💀🪦
I’m hoping you were still able to get your console sold haha!
WOWWWW!! Congrats!! Glad I’m lucky for a change😁
I want to cut and paste my pictures for the ad, fb wants access to my photos. I don’t want them to have access.
I know if you’re using an iPhone, when you give Facebook access to your photos, you can select which photos you want them to have access to. I know that’s an option for people that don’t want them to access their whole library. Otherwise, to post pictures I think you’d be out of luck. Thanks for watching!
Yep, like he said above you pick which photos they get access to
How do you prevent all of the other seller's items from showing on your FB page?
Would you be able to explain in a different way? Sorry, I’m not quite following but I would love to try and help😃
My daughter got a 1 star rating for a product the buyer never bought.
“Is that fair?” Her reply
“No!”
Me: That’s fine. it’s already priced to sell. Let me know if you change your mind. Have a nice day.
Buyer “You too”
I sold it two days later for the asking price, no hassles.
Notify FACEBOOK and ask them to remove, the customer is a non-existent buyer.
Sorry to hear Facebook has been having issues! Hopefully they address those sometime in the near future so it’s a better experience for everyone!
Can we sell nonphysical stuff like illustrations and digital art?
I tried to do a little research for you, and I don’t think you are allowed to sell digital items on Facebook marketplace. Check out this article I found that was directly from Facebook:
facebook.com/policies_center/commerce/subscriptions_and_digital_products
Hope that helps! You might have to find another platform to list digital items. I do plan to make more Facebook videos in the future on topics like this so I hope you’re able to subscribe so I see you in the future. Thank you so much for watching!😃
If you have never listed anything before what’s the chance of getting noticed
If you’ve never listed anything before, I still think that you have a chance of getting noticed for sure because everybody does have to start out somewhere. My recommendation is just to price whatever you’re selling pretty competitively and if that product is in demand, you should still get interest. Once you sell your first, it will be much easier in the future. After your first few sales, make sure you also request reviews from them so future sales will be easier for you! I hope this helps. I’m always making more Facebook marketplace videos so I hope you’ll consider subscribing so I see you in a future video. Otherwise, I hope you have a great rest of your day!😃
How long does it take for your items to get sell
Depends on what you are selling and how much demand that item has that you’re selling! Generally I would say I always sell my items within a month or so after creating a listing. Hope this helps! If you follow the tips and tricks in my videos, you’ll be sure to sell your items faster! The next video I’m publishing is actually about Facebook marketplace, so make sure you subscribe and stay tuned for that! Thanks for watching and have a great day!!😃
Do a business profile video
Are you talking in the context of Facebook in general, or specifically Facebook marketplace? Appreciate any video ideas! Thank you! 😊
I've lost the ability to add tags on a listing. I don't get views or sales any more.
I’m not 100% sure the context on this one. I’ve never seen the ability to add tags to a Facebook Marketplace listing, I’ve seen tagging products on Facebook, but not on Facebook Marketplace. If this is what you are referring to, perhaps this article could help:

If that’s not what you’re looking for, I’m not too familiar with tagging so I apologize.

How do I do this with Facebook marketplace place not working anymore
Sorry, I'm not quite following. What exactly is not working? I'm able to get on Facebook Marketplace and everything works for me. Maybe if you are more specific I might be able to help you out or guide you in the right direction😃
Locked profiles how to know if they are genuine buyers?
I generally try to browse someone’s profile to see if they are a real buyer. If they get likes, make actual posts, and have interaction, chances are they are real. If they are locked, it would obviously be harder to tell. I would just go with your gut, if something seems off, it probably is! Hope that kinda helps! I’m consistently making more videos, so I hope you’ll consider subscribing so I can see you in another one! Hope you have a great day!😃
Hi Riley,
thanks a lot for those valuable tips, those tips works super well with me for sure, I really recommend for beginners who is using facebook market.
The guidelines can be found at this link:
facebook.com/policies_center/commerce
Assuming you are not breaking any of these, maybe you should just try to reword your listing, as something is being automatically flagged that should not be.
I will try to read again FB policies.
thanks again for your time, looking forward to learn from your new videos

Looking for a "FB Marketplace" expert. Would like to chat with someone for just a minute or two. We were selling decent then it came to an abrupt halt. Not gradual. Our other platform hasn't changed. If you are this person, and don't mind chatting for a few, let me know.

What does revelant mean haha
When I said relevant, I more meant listing things that people are actually interested in buying. For example, if you listed a snowblower in the middle of the summer, not as many people may be interested in it because people aren’t thinking of snow in July (at least where I’m from) but if you listed that snowblower in November people might be thinking, wow it’s going to snow soon so I should buy a snowblower! That’s not to say you can’t still list it, but some things are relevant to the time that you post them. Hope that makes sense! Thanks for watching and I hope to see you in another video!
@@rileyreform I know what relevant means. You said ReVelant. :D
