Considering school is just starting to come back into session, I think something like that is a perfect time to post! Just make sure the price is right so you attract interested buyers! Well, depending on a lot of reasons I would say that it’s better to transfer over your old number. While it may be more work up front, it saves you the trouble of having to tell everyone and everything your new number. If you don’t use your phone too heavily though, perhaps just getting a new number is easier! I still think visible is a great service😃

I do agree that a scammer would likely use this method, however I have personally had many people message me using the “is this still available” button and they are real people. I would still entertain them and at least message back and say that it is still available, and see where it goes! Maybe marketplace is a bit different in your area though!

Honesty, I haven’t really thought of a type of scenario like this. When posting on Facebook marketplace you have to post from your real personal Facebook profile, so you also can’t really pretend like you’re someone that you’re not. I just use a friendly picture of myself and hope for the best! Hopefully if I ever run into an issue like this, it’s easy enough to report to the Facebook police and have the profile removed! I totally agree that wasting your time is just about the worst thing possible, however there are people like this everywhere on every website. If you’re going to sell anything, this is something that you’re going to have to deal with. Hopefully Facebook can do a better job to weed out the real people so you don’t have to deal with people like this. Best of luck on your selling journey in the future!

@rileyreform Most definitely. It's just part of the package, and if you can't handle it then you shouldn't be in this business, I agree. I think I'm starting to learn how to see who is serious and who isn't though. It's pretty simple. You just think about how YOU communicate with someone when you are genuinely interested in buying something from them. When I buy something on marketplace, I usually message them asking if I can come see it immediately, and if they say yes, I will make my way over there to buy it within minutes. So if someone is just saying "is this available?" and then they don't respond anymore, or if they ask some basic questions (to which the answers are probably already in your description) and you answer them and they just say "Okay, thanks" then they aren't serious either. If they ask when they can come see it, and you tell them your availability, and they don't plan a day/time with you, then they aren't serious. Literally the only people who are serious are the ones who instantly want to meet up to see/buy it. But of course we are obligated to respond to everyone because otherwise the algorithm will screw us.

I definitely don’t think you’ll regret switching! The first process of switching can be a little tricky, but once you get over the first switch it’s been a very reliable service! Debit card I did not try, just different forms of credit card payment but nothing worked until I used PayPal.

When you hit 3000 watch hours, that allows people to donate to your channel. This does not yet allow you to turn on ads for your videos and make ad revenue. When you hit 4000 watch hours in the last 365 days, and 1000 subscribers, that is when you become fully monetized and can start earning money from ad revenue. Hope that makes sense!

Adsense is a feature that google offers to allow you to put ads on your videos. Think of it like a google bank account. Once you start earning money from UA-cam, it will go into your Adsense account and then you can get paid. Once it’s in Adsense, it will then be transferred into your bank account

Absolutely, thanks for the question! I would assume Labor Day weekend is not a great weekend when it comes to Facebook marketplace. People are spending time away from their phones with friends and family, so I wouldn’t judge too much based on one weekend alone. Depending on what you’re selling, some things just take significantly longer to sell. For example, an iPhone is very marketable and would likely sell fast, but a pair of shoes is not. I understand that this is definitely a widespread issue, but one that I wish could be resolved. I know customers service is expensive, but I also think it’s an important part of a business because when people have issues, they will need to be addressed in some way. Honestly, I have never experienced a throttle or limit on any data usage, so while that may exist, from my perspective, I have had unlimited😃 That being said, I am always on WiFi a lot so I may not have experienced the threshold. If it’s not new, I would just set the condition to be “used - like new“. As overall I think that best represents the condition of the product. It’s a great tool to start out, but otherwise I prefer to pick my own investments now. With that being said, I do think a little bit of bitcoin can certainly diversify your portfolio. Perhaps your types of videos could do better as a short? Shorts are also another way that people can get monetized instead of watch time hours, with shorts, you only need views but a lot of views. I personally have the standard Visible plan, so honestly I’m not entirely sure what will happen after you reach the 50 gb. I have had no problem streaming anything on the regular plan, so I think you should be perfectly fine with the data on Visible+. You can also absolutely use the referral code! I’m not too familiar with UA-cam promotions. Are you referring to where you can pay money for UA-cam to promote your video? I personally would not consider that and I also know that those views/watch time hours do not count toward your monetization goal, so I would honestly avoid if I were you. I would just research PayPal support and see what you can find! I know getting scammed sucks as I was scammed also but did not get my money back. Hope you have better luck!
