Hi Lindey, totally love your videos. I am having such difficulty though with FB Marketplace and I am so confused. I post listings and most have 0 views.
And sometimes, I can't even see my listings. Redditt people are saying that FB is broken and are saying if FB thinks you are posting too many items -- then they stop showing your ads. What the?? I keep hearing people making tons of money with this and I go in and try my best to work hard putting up lots of listings and now I hear the FB frowns on that? What's up with that?

You are right Lindey. Liquidation returns can be dangerous. A month ago I bought my first liquidation pallet and most of the products were not for sale, actually, I had to lose time to take all the damaged products to recycle. Obviously, I lost money with that pallet. I will never again buy returns pallets. I will not give up and I will still try to find pallets with brand new items that can be easy to sell and make a small profit. I wish to have Wholesale Ninjas here in the UK. Here, I find it a bit difficult to find pallets or job lots with sellable products. Thank you for the videos. I enjoy watching them. Lots of hugs

If you opt to print your own shipping label then be well aware that you will need to have enough money in your account if you are selling a massive amount of items. It cost me over $300 during Christmas for only one week. Due to slower shipping, I didn’t get my payment from FBMP for a couple of weeks. Also, if you sell more than $600 you will need to be verified by Facebook Marketplace. The verification SHOULD only take up to 3 business days but it can actually be up to a month.

I just started on Facebook marketplace and I am using stock photos, my listings are not as detailed as they are on eBay and I may be priced a bit too high. I haven’t had much luck with sales so far. Marketplace listings don't show in news feed unless you post within a group they're also a part of, or if they follow your commerce profile. You can choose to not allow commerce followers too.
Do you get a lot more sales if you use tags? I haven't used any yet, and am wondering if I need to go back and add them!

Is the late night theory correct as you items will come up on peoples “new” searches and “saved” searchers first. Is listing Friday /afternoon/night idea to arrange pickup etc over the weekend? I’m trying to shift a lot of old stock of brand new kids clothes that I’m wanting to move away from selling.

Hello Lindey, I have a couple of question when you order boxes from the post office how many do you request 100 or 200? If the buyer buys something less than a ounce how do you mail it? I get a kick out of your videos with that said I would like to buy a pallet of goods however i live in a studio apartment what is your suggestion? FYI When directing people to where buttons/lines/tabs are on the FB app, your directions are for an Iphone. Those things are in different places on the Android app.

Hi Lindey! One of the problems I have with Facebook marketplace is that I have trouble shoehorning my item into their categories. As an example if I have a toy that doesn't fit one of the subcategories it will not just let me pick the category "toys and games". It has to be specific so I have to choose something that doesn't really fit well. I'm sure this will get better as Facebook keeps building their platform however for now it's just so irritating when I'm listing. 🤪
The new categories this year have been a struggle. I absolutely hate it. If nothing else there should be a default “other” within each category.
I list for FB on my laptop, which is just about identical. I don't understand promoting vs editing vs ending and relisting. Which ones have a cost, and which ones cause the listing look NEW to the FB algorithm? Thanks a lot for the info.

You can also refresh your listings after 7 days.. click on item and scroll down to "Renew on Marketplace " that feature is free. Boosting a listing usually costs

I've done well selling and getting paid on FB Marketplace. I currently have two issues and they have no way to email them or get support. I combined shipping for a customer that bought three of my items. I got paid for two, but not the last one. On another sale of an antique painting it was recieved by the customer, they called it a fake and they got refunded no question and now they have my money AND my legit painting. I stand by the authenticity of the painting. How can I get their attention for money owed my account?

Theres videos out there of people showing what they ordered and what they got which is nothing like the picture. I’m kinda new to FBM and I listed some sewing patterns and it says item price has to be at least $5 to mail it. They also want you to get tracking. I didn’t charge enough for shipping to cover tracking and had to eat some shipping. Hard lesson learned. I dont think I will get paid if it dont show up?

The variations option only worked on mobile and when I saved the draft to go do something size variation it disappeared. I had to redo the whole listing . So it works but it's not the easiest to use.
Where do we get the pallet
When you were listing the shipping, I saw something say "no more than 1 cubic foot" or there might be additional fee?
They only allow up to a certain weight and under a cubic foot. Otherwise you have to ship using your own label rather than prepaid labels.
@@smalltownpicker this may mess a lot of people up that are not familiar with cubic dimensions/size & weight calculations. A item could weigh less than a pound, but be larger than 1 cubic foot. I just thought it was important to point out....
