The Dawn of Mercy: As the Christians put into practice the teaching of Christ on Love and Mercy during plagues and pandemics, they transformed the pagan Roman Empire's way of looking at the poor and sick.
This was a revolution that also helped in the Christianization of the Roman Empire. In the subsequent Christian Roman Empire of the East (also known as the "Byzantine Empire"), this Christian understanding of Mercy produced the first hospitals, orphanages, old age homes, and hostels for travelers, and a system of healthcare for the people, run by the Church and assisted by the State, which lasted for over 1,000 years. This eventually became the model for the Western world, as well, and the foundation on which our modern healthcare system was developed.

Its incredible if you think about it. Never in history has internet been so usefull, all these beautifull (even translated) video's about the Church's history and Orthodox Saints. It feels like our Holy Orthodoxy has taken over the internet by storm. Normally people would get overloaded with all the bad stuff like pornography and stuff, now people can actually get blessed just by watching video's like these! I am thinking. . Overlap the timeline of the Shroud of Turin and the Sudarium of Oviedo in with these other expressions, which many would have known about then.. And there was great encouragement for supernatural faith.
Hopefully it's a lesson to learn for us and not close our churches
And to realize that in modern times doctors & scientists are mostly trapped & forced to do the bidding of demonic crazy elite who want total control at any cost. We cannot blindly follow ANYONE, no matter how expert they are in any field. The proof is the experts pushed for locking down ALL of society, masking EVERYONE including growing children , and using experimental injections forcibly, taking away people’s basic human rights if they didn’t comply (many of lost the ability to eat in restaurants, to travel and shockingly to earn an income. ) Never forget and do not submit in future similar situations. Otherwise this earth is doomed to become robotic slaves to these demons.
A world without Christianity would be a darker and colder world, but would not each individual be stronger and more capable of standing on their own two feet?
