Great passage .. fair play 👍 I have just completed a single handed to Carlingford for the Carlingford Cruising Week and went up the Newry Canal for a night in the Albert Basin. Back in Malahide now. The Isle Of Man is gonna be my next big passage. Can't wait ....... ( fekin weather ) Lady Karen 🥰
Congratulations Neil I’m SO impressed. Single handed sailors are my heroes. Carlingford was our first journey back in 2008 with our 3 boys (3,7& 9). I agree the weather has been ferocious. We were blessed we got away at all on holidays
Looked like a nice trip over and they were very atmospheric photos of the clouds, looked gorgeous, although foreboding might be a better description. Thankfully all turned out ok and you made it safely to the best island in the middle of the Irish Sea 😀 Welcome 🙂
Thanks. We first visited in 2008 with our 3 boys and try to get over as much as possible. Our next video will show some of our favourite sights and destinations while keeping it sea based. My niece is dating a lad from Castletown.
Looks like a good sail unlike ours to your home port. Westerly’s sail so nicely, such reliable boats. We have not managed to get out since our Dublin trip weather absolutely awful. Hope you had a good holiday. Great cloud shots.
