Probably one of the greatest videos of the 80's! The female talent in this video is off the charts! It was great to watch it again even if it was minimized from the original video.

@Chris Hall @Phil Meyers. Actually yes they were pretty popular with the American crowd. Which is precisely why they were deliberately downplayed. I know that seems backwards yet often truth is stranger than fiction. I watch all kinds of documentaries to include a bunch on different music eras. As crappy as it is the fact is that despite what the general US public wanted, they only got what the stations chose to broadcast, unless of course they had the tapes or 8's that is. While this may not make sense now days when we can stream or watch whatever songs/music vids we want on Netflix/UA-cam. Or we can simply Google where a band is from. Which I don't think would've mattered to most listeners. Most didn't & still don't care where it's from, just what it sounds like. However unfortunately for Loverboy or any other Non-Merican Artits/Bands at the time, the radio stations absolutely did. Especially during the mid to late 80's. Apparently after the European Invasion US airways were saturated with foreign music. So some time during the mid 80's they started deliberately downplaying non-American music. Which Loverboy,I imagine, must've been a thorn in their side. Cause here came a Canadian band that sounded(&looked) better than 90% of America's Makeup clad Hairbands! Plus unless you were in the know, you'd wouldn't be able to tell that they weren't American as you could hear no trace of accent in their songs. If they'd of been Americans then they of been inducted into the Hall of Fame a long time ago. Even if people don't realize it,Loverboy's music was weaved into the fabric of that 80's vibe. To this day still the hottest woman I've ever seen in my life. Under rated song by Loverboy. This marked the beginning of the end for them, as this album failed to reach platinum status, and they never seemingly recovered. Still a very cool song though.

One of my Favorite Videos of the 80’s. The women in this video Rocked and the Cinematography is outstanding. I am disappointed that they deleted the original unedited unrated version of the video. There was more of the Helicopter Scene with the woman with long black hair. Video is nowhere to be seen.
I was working at a Pizza Hut in 1987 putting myself through college when this song came out. It was on the juke box in the restaurant and I used to play this song at closing time.
HA! That’s funny right there. 😉 I remember the fanfare leading up to MTV’s premiere for this video. Now well over 30+ years later I still think this is probably their best video. The record company and/or the band spent some $$$ on this one, that’s for sure ... love it!
It's up there but I like the Lucky Ones video better because of Matt pounding the drums viciously right before Paul's guitar solo. The video for When It's Over is also pretty cool...and Working For The Weekend is also up thete.
