Is it recommended to use a "trimmer" with a guard to set the length of the entire beard/stubble - such as what you did with your "clippers"? I like to maintain 5-10 days worth of growth. I heard that a trimmer may catch hairs too much. Thoughts?

That’ll grow out really nice and look perfect. Go with the grain when it gets a bit longer and use a huge guard to trim flyaways so u don’t chop into the mass

Great video but seemed a bit overwhelming to me as someone semi-new to this field. New to really shaping/cleaning up my beard. Before I used to just shave it clean every few weeks, but now am trying trim it and get a nice shape and whatnot. I have a normal manual razor and a King C. Gillette trimmer with 3 guards (1, 3, and 5 I think - also hoping you can actually explain what these mean, can't find a straight answer on google). What equipment do you recommend (besides the stuff I have) to maintain a good beard weekly? I obviously don't want to buy 100 items lol, it seems you have a lot, so hoping you can recommend absolute necessities that are good and not too expensive. thanks

Do you use the courner of the blade or just focus on the middle part (im new using straight Razor)

    • @DavidEscamilla153

Tbh bro depends on what you’re working on. The more area I have to work with the more of the blade that I use !
