Yea miss this. They are their for my entertainent. If they hurt they got the money to pay for a nurse for the rest of their lives. Unless they blow it on 3 houses and 20 cars
It's easy to hit a defenseless receiver. Back then it was legal. The tough guy here is #30 Vernon Turner. Really amazing that he absorbed that hit, held on to the ball, and then walked away. Though maybe next time he'll signal for a fair catch!
Terrible form. This is the video you show to middle school kids on the exact way not to tackle. Head down. Exposed neck. To celebrate this type of hit is to now nothing about football and have never played the game. He's lucky he got up. Kevin Everett nearly never walked again for the same bad technique.
I was at that game, my seat was in the tunnel endzone and the play was coming at me. I watched the ball with my binoculars and a half second after he caught the ball, Tasker wiped him out. One of the best plays I ever saw in my 20+ years of season tickets.
If it weren't for the possible litigation, hits like this would be more common! The $500 million concussion lawsuit has made it where you can only hit a player in the midsection!
Steve Tasker is the GOAT of special teams
Lucky he’s not paralyzed. That was all head, zero shoulder.
Hall of fame hit.
Head was tucked down, bad form. Could have really hurt himself.
Nice! Thanks for posting I never saw this before 🎉🎉🎉

Credit to #30 of the Rams to absorb the hit without losing the ball. 👏
Rumor has it he is still feeling that hit today 😅
I remember my dad screaming Taskers name at the top of his lungs when this hit happened. He loved his Bills. ❤️
Bills.

He would be flagged for targeting today
Definitely wouldn't. Totally clean hit.

Absolutely would be flagged. Hit with the crown of his helmet.
No question.
What NFL have you been watching?
@@chriswells506 Definitely wouldn't be. You know nothing about football. Stop talking.

I love your intensity!
@@chriswells506 I love my accuracy. Sorry about you being wrong.
Wow…
Still went on to lose the superbowl...again.
Tis true.
