FINALLY a true thumb rest for a glock. i recently bought one and am glad i tried it. i immediately had to order 3 more. they are pricey but the quality and workmanship that went into this product makes it worth it to me. the takedown now is so much easier than trying to grip the oem glock takedown levers. this company also has excellent customer service as i had originally purchased a size #2 which didn't work well for my way of gripping the pistol. they immediately sent out a #1 size for me with a postage paid return envelope. once you try one you will love it. i heated up my CC holster with a blow dryer and form fitted this part in my holster so i get the kydex snap when inserting the weapon. kudos on a great idea !!!!
@@BlackSteelUSA asap i am ordering one for my smith 9ez and one for my glock 44. i know it's only a .22 but i use it as a trainer so i want continuity !!!
Just ordered 2, one for my 43x and one for my 19. Currently have grip tape where my left thumb indexes on the frame but it still slides off during rapid fire, this is exactly what I was looking for. Won over Align Tactical's since it's 1) metal and 2) folds down.
other one on the market uses trigger pin holes for installation.. making it incompatible with Zev OZ9.. this one should work.. and the other one doesn't fold
@blacksteel am having trouble getting my slide off, am doing everything like in the video when I push it down and trigger is pulled it jumps forward but slide dont come off. Any suggestions.
Finding the new install affects my draw/reholster and resulting retention. Make sure you’re familiar with how this affects your gun/holster fit & function. Over time, maybe it’ll wear a groove for itself, but for now I’m having to reholster and stuff it in a little to make sure it’s in there good. Also makes for more resistance on the draw. As always, train with your setup and understand that this device, while it will improve your recoil control and speed in follow up shots and transitions it is also likely to add fractions to your draw to first shot. Maybe you guys could make a version that’s only meant to expedite that carve-out process, a dummy lever that’s really just a blade/edge that doesn’t deploy and is meant to shave down kydex from the inside with lots of draw/reholster reps. Don’t know if that would badly weaken the kydex. Maybe make the base of the pedal lie more flush to the frame?

Yes! We have had customers use the Glock Gen 1-4 Grip Control on the PSA Dagger Full Size. However, we will design one specifically for the PSA Dagger Full Size.
I'm not hating the product. I actually really like it but the price is stoping me. I feel like this shouldn't be $110 for a tiny piece and would probably sell like crazy at maybe $50, but I may be wrong. Just seems high imo.
Guns aint a cheap hobby...I ordered 4. Gunna put them on 43X MOS, 19, 17, and 26. These were probably machined by a half million dollar CNC machine, and then assembled and packaged by hand. This isn't for the crowd that sells one gun to buy another.
@@Covertdaily to comment on his reply. I have probably a dozen Glock and haven't sold one to buy another. Imo it doesn't matter if you are rich or poor, but that it's still an expensive price

I'm assuming the installation for the S&W SD9 is exactly the same as the older gen Glocks with the leaf spring?
Yes!

Hi! Not a problem at all! Please can you send us an email at info@blacksteelusa.com. We have videos ready to send you to help you with this!
My question is what is stopping it from rotating or being pushed down and gun coming apart under fire ?
Hi. Because the Grip Controls replaces factory take down, which ensures a secure fit.
@@FrankTacticalTV they definitely work. Once you get past they changed how you take slide off (better actually). Pretty dang cool invention.
A Gen4 G43 is different than the firearm shown here. It would be very helpful if BlackSteel were to produce a video.
Hi! Not a problem. Thank you for the prompt, we will get one recorded and launched as soon as possible.
