I’d agree Registeel is ideally a closer in most metas, but it’s a really good lead in this one. Beats steels, fairies, and waters outside of poli/mudbois. I’ve climbed a lot running Registeel/Poliwrath/Mantine

@@Whoankii Poli is the default safe swap unless gligar is their lead. You won’t have to swap out a ton with regi as the lead... Really only if you’re against a counter user or something with a lot of ground move pressure

Shadow Muk has been putting in work for me somehow. So many double grass teams at my elo range.
Has coverage for Poliwrath/Jelli/Obamasnow which are all pretty common I’ve found.
Dang it, I was just using quag lead and gar swap, now i gotta figure something else out for a few days.

What’s wrong with trying to catch a move on the ferrothorn? “Good job trainer, that worked out well”?
I tried SO HARD to make ABB Shadow Quag, Shadow Gligar, Gliscor work but I think the team really needed the Gliscor to be shadow and all my shadow Gligar were either too high CP or still had frustration. I played the team to close games with shield/energy advantage Gliscor but there were too many times an earthquake didn’t oneshot with the non-shadow. It was still pretty fun and would definitely recommend to anyone with a Shadow Gliscor.
I powered up a shadow gliscor right before gligar became meta. It seems his time to shine has returned, I'll give this team a try, seems fun
I ran this team in the beginning but I just can’t use Registeel for whatever reason
