I don't have regular whiscash, would the shadow version also preform well?
That's actually a great question! I don't have the shadow so I'm not entirely sure. You're more than welcome to give it a try and see how it performs!
Would shadow swampert work better? Or maybe shadow feraligator?
Shadow Feraligatr is not eligible for the Jungle Cup, which was where these battles were filmed. I like the regular a little better than the shadow because regular Swampert can take more hits.
kid that is a very season 5 team! That combination of Swamper am Skar has been around for a while, but it does not work anymore! but at your elo it might since the pros are already a legend!
Hey, thanks so much for your view. These videos were filmed in the Jungle Cup where the line favored a little better because of the more condensed meta. I definitely agree that this team is not favorable for the Great League anymore. Also, I'm old enough to legally drink, so I'm not a kid, though I do understand why you might think so since I have been told many times that look a little young for my age. I appreciate your comment!
Skarmory, double Water is a classic. I've seen it with Lanturn/Whiscash or Lanturn/Shadow Swampert. The current World Champion run that as well in one of his Live streams.
Although at the moment I think grass types are very weak in the meta. So you don't really often bait out a grass type and then can farm it down cleanly with Skarmory.
So while it is a very strong team, the type of ABB it is designed to be, doesn't match the meta that well.
Skarmory and Whiscash - especially the shadow - are just OP Pokemon in general.
On the other hand you see Annihilape on every other team it fells which is kind of a core breaker into the Skarmoy/Whiscash core.
Thanks for your breakdown! These battles were filmed in the Jungle Cup where Grass types were a little more common in countering Lanturn, and Annihilape was absent, which might help better explain why I gained so much ELO. Your breakdown is completely accurate in the Great League, it is definitely not as strong a team compared to the more restricted meta. Appreciate your view and comment!
