Hey Roahm, I've been playing a translated Japanese version of Rockman 7, where it also includes weapon get scenes with either Roll or Auto, and I just got one with Roll for the Noise Crush( or Crush Noise in Japan). When Mega Man described the Noise Crush emitting destructive noise, Roll responded with "Like Dr. Right's(Dr. Light in America) singing?" I could not stop laughing for 10 seconds. And poor Dr. Right. He's probably not been invited to do any Christmas Caroling.
Shade man's regular stage music is one of my favourite video game BGMs of all time. Too bad it gets eclipsed by that GnG reference so often... On a side note, the music from Wily1 in this game is also super underrated!
BurrowingOwl Gamer Yeah, I do like that music. Also love both of Shade Man's themes, haha. One reason I was glad I had reason to go through this stage twice so I could show both songs.
The only Mega Man games I plan to work with are classic, Battle Network (which does include Network Transmission), and if I can ever get DS emulation working well enough on my system, I might consider Starforce.
I found it really weird when MegaMan once corrected Bass in game by telling him they aren't enemies. It's obvious MegaMan interprets their rivalry on a kinder level despite the fact he knows full well that Bass was created by Dr. Wily himself. He doesn't owe Bass the time of day, and yet, they somehow work surprisingly well as a team against common foes.
Yes, though that's a great area of discontinuity between the anime and the game. Amusingly, in the game, Bass.EXE wasn't created by Dr. Hikari OR Wily. He was actually created by Cossack.
Stage man does the paralyzing stare in reference to Dracula's supposed ability to hypnotize. I guess it was lost in translation from Romanian to English so it read: "really annoying freeze ray"
@superstarsmasher Yeah, I have played MM7 multiple times, and know about the other secrets, but I never knew about the fact you could shoot the outside of the pumpkin.
Really it's pretty common knowledge if you follow the story of the games. I don't exactly appreciate the rudeness of this response here, but for more information, I'd suggest checking out the Mega Man Knowledge Base. It's a wiki full of info on all things Mega Man.
On the Pumpkin: I think it's supposed to be spitting pumpkin seeds at you. On the werewolf robots: Heh, warwelfs. My favorite episode. MST3K all the way! On the Wily Dracula portrait: Well, at least this time, it's not like it was a big secret he was behind it. On Shade Man's freezing gaze: I always figured it was based on a vampire's ability to hypnotize its victims.
Wily never said he made Bass.EXE to my knowledge. In the original series, yes, Wily made Bass, but in the Battle Network series, Cossack made Bass, this was one of the key points of the third game.
@KurtKokaine1 The thing is that you asked for the source of information that is common knowledge in the Mega Man fanbase. It therefor seemed like a strange question and it was slightly hard to take serious.
So it strikes me as I'm watching MM talking about the soundwave weapon, that I would like to see something like "The such-and-such does such and such. Doesn't it?" "No, it's actually quite useless, and was a huge waste of time to get. But good job anyway."
When Shade Man does the noise crush attack and he absorbs it and starts flashing, that one sprite of him that flashes pink, is he 8 bit? In a 16 bit game?
Oh, well yes, in 7 and the original series in general, Bass was created by Wily, no question. But you were the one who brought up NT (a.k.a. Battle Network) in the first place ;)
I find that Shademan's counterpart in the battlenetwork series to be alot harder. This one was easy for me when I finally got to him. The stage gave me problems though
How many blue humanoid robots has Dr. Light made? Mega Man Mega Man X Ice Man Possibly Needle Man, but he might be Wily's Hard Man, ditto Gemini Man, likewise Splash Woman So that's 4 to 7, no more than 5 of whom he's likely to have built at this point in the timeline (though X could have been in planning stage easily).
Don;t get me wrong i love the original theme to Ghost and Goblins, but this remix is pretty good :)..and its a awesome throw back to a fun and hard Capcom game :D
let's make some recap...you beated every robot master so far and protoman is the next one (being protoman itself, not breakman and no mid-boss form) so practically there's left one robot master that canbe beated this far...any guess who is he?
@RoahmMythril The rudeness of the response is a common reaction to someone making me post several posts just to answer a simple question. My question was legit. I only play the games, and none of the games mention anything like this. So when I found myself repeatedly posting the same question, without getting a simple respone, my human nature took over, and I got a bit rude. If you can't understand that, then you must be on a higher level than most humans.
but after I stated in my 2nd reponse that it was completely serious (not all people mega man fans are aware of that site dude, lol), you still persisted in not answering my question, prompting me to post it again. but don't worry about it. Roahm answered it for me. >_>
To be honest, I wouldn't enjoy it. I dislike the X series, and hope there's never an official "transition" game that ends the Classic series. On a more "official" note though, Capcom has claimed that the "Zero kills everyone" theory is not correct.
Is that an Irish accent? If so or not either way it's fucking badass! I have no idea why english accents are so awesome compared to my shitty American Midwestern accent :/

Dat Proto!Whistle solo at the end.
4:21 That commentary in the cutscene was just priceless; mainly because it actually makes sense!
Loved the Castlevania reference :) Great perfect run too!
I love the werewolves!
You know, I've never made MegaMan Art? Hmm.. I should.
Thanx for another video. Going to watch pt. 2 now!
Soundwave, use noise crush!
As you command, megatron!
Haha, man, I remember as a kid being completely shocked because this was the first time I saw a game curse. I felt really sneaky and cool.
The only Mega Man games I plan to work with are classic, Battle Network (which does include Network Transmission), and if I can ever get DS emulation working well enough on my system, I might consider Starforce.

I must say - you are a good actor... voicing the chats out sounded perfect to me...
the song that is playing in the background is from Super Ghouls 'N Ghosts which i'm close to beating btw
That is one! One perfect run of Shademan's stage ah ah ah ah!
And the werewolves look REMARKABLY like Gospel. Good thing for Wily that Megaman isn't too observant.
@RoahmMythril I'm glad to see at least you Roahm, can read a question and give it an answer. I wish everyone could do a simple task like this.
Yes, though that's a great area of discontinuity between the anime and the game. Amusingly, in the game, Bass.EXE wasn't created by Dr. Hikari OR Wily. He was actually created by Cossack.
not everyone, i just wanted some input from some ones whose played them alot, thank you!
Stage man does the paralyzing stare in reference to Dracula's supposed ability to hypnotize. I guess it was lost in translation from Romanian to English so it read: "really annoying freeze ray"
In NT, Bass was the subprogramming of the first navi that Dr. Hikari (a.k.a Dr. Light!) had created.
@superstarsmasher Yeah, I have played MM7 multiple times, and know about the other secrets, but I never knew about the fact you could shoot the outside of the pumpkin.
It sounded to me like she said were-wolf in MST3K
Megaman: "I can't believe it!"
Wily: "HABEEB IT!"
Megaman: "TWINKY HOUSE!"
Sorry, got a bit carried away there.
He just likes Mega Man to feel good about himself, he can't bear to contradict him.
The knight helm looks like an enemy from kirby
"How many blue, humanoid robots of your own creation are there?"
At least four.
IIRC, Burst Man is weak to them both as well. AND the charge-shot. Poor bastard!
Great run. On to part two!
@KurtKokaine1 Ice and Splash were made by light and Hard and Shadow by Light and Wily... what do you mean 'Where do you get this information?'
Ah, I've played Okami, but I hadn't noticed that actually. It's been awhile though.
He said warwelf! He said warwelf! And this is why Roahm is the best Mega Man-based UA-camr
Hahaha. I just noticed, Megaman leaves and then comes back right away and Dr. Light's lab is just totaled. Bass works fast, doesn't he?
I have... never gone that path you took.
Since the power absorbtion spheres in this game were all different colores, I was contemplating what flavors they could be.
for some reason i'm always expecting Dr light to say no after Megaman asks "doesn't it?".
Really it's pretty common knowledge if you follow the story of the games. I don't exactly appreciate the rudeness of this response here, but for more information, I'd suggest checking out the Mega Man Knowledge Base. It's a wiki full of info on all things Mega Man.
It was indeed fun doing that.
I think 4:20 is hinting that Bass' real weakness is Noise Crush
Wily never said he made Bass.EXE to my knowledge. In the original series, yes, Wily made Bass, but in the Battle Network series, Cossack made Bass, this was one of the key points of the third game.
Hmm, granted, I gave alternates on both of them really, raspberry for Freeze Man and dragonfruit for Shade Man.
Interresting to note, Bass may not be lying about being defeated easily. After all, he IS weak to the Noise Crush...
@KurtKokaine1 The thing is that you asked for the source of information that is common knowledge in the Mega Man fanbase. It therefor seemed like a strange question and it was slightly hard to take serious.
I actually triggered the trick by accident.
I had worries that the stage would be as hard as Ghosts and Goblins.
I really wish you had continued this game. I would love to see the battle between Megaman and Bass. The one where it's proven that Bass is the enemy
I like how you did the laugh...
So it strikes me as I'm watching MM talking about the soundwave weapon, that I would like to see something like "The such-and-such does such and such. Doesn't it?" "No, it's actually quite useless, and was a huge waste of time to get. But good job anyway."
I'm quite aware of that, I did so in the next video ;)
love the music in the stage...reminds me of IWBTG xD
"The wind up.. and the pitch!" Warwulf?
When Shade Man does the noise crush attack and he absorbs it and starts flashing, that one sprite of him that flashes pink, is he 8 bit? In a 16 bit game?
Oh, well yes, in 7 and the original series in general, Bass was created by Wily, no question. But you were the one who brought up NT (a.k.a. Battle Network) in the first place ;)
Bass is my favorite in all of them:)
uh.... I'd like to point out that the laugh you did during the cutscene sounded downright evil and/or insane.
Uuuuh... To answer your question. There are 5 humanoid blue robots of Light's creation: Mega, Ice, Splash, Hard and Shadow.
I find that Shademan's counterpart in the battlenetwork series to be alot harder. This one was easy for me when I finally got to him. The stage gave me problems though
How many blue humanoid robots has Dr. Light made?
Mega Man
Mega Man X
Ice Man
Possibly Needle Man, but he might be Wily's
Hard Man, ditto
Gemini Man, likewise
Splash Woman
So that's 4 to 7, no more than 5 of whom he's likely to have built at this point in the timeline (though X could have been in planning stage easily).
I meant he just said it in 7, not in the original series or in the Battle Network series.
I'm actually not sure on that.
Are you able to do the easter egg music in the anniverasary collection? If you can, what button do you hold for the PS2?
One question I've always had: Why is Shademan weak to springs?
Sometimes these guys feel like pranks put on by the developers.
Have you played Okami? When Waka appeaers it sounds like Protoman's theme.
Did they name the Gilliam Knight after Terry Gilliam of Monty Python fame?
If they were going for a tribute, why not the Chapman Knight?
@TheJeppesk
Thanks.
Don;t get me wrong i love the original theme to Ghost and Goblins, but this remix is pretty good :)..and its a awesome throw back to a fun and hard Capcom game :D
Where did you get the Proto Man whistle at the end? Or was that you whistling?
@cooljobsrule Where do you get this information?
They really should've checked the translation for bass's dialogue in this stage...
Oh?
So, the pumpkin spits peas at you. ANOTHER REASON WHY KIDS DON'T EAT VEG
let's make some recap...you beated every robot master so far and protoman is the next one (being protoman itself, not breakman and no mid-boss form)
so practically there's left one robot master that canbe beated this far...any guess who is he?
X button on the PS2 is the equivalent of the B button on SNES, usually.
That was me whistling.
5:28...Dracula loves Medusa...
Is this the actual game?
If so, shocked that Bass said "damn" in an SNES game.
@RoahmMythril The rudeness of the response is a common reaction to someone making me post several posts just to answer a simple question. My question was legit. So when I found myself repeatedly posting the same question, without getting a simple respone, my human nature took over, and I got a bit rude. If you can't understand that, then you must be on a higher level than most humans.
Even though Wily said it that he himself made Bass?
@RoahmMythril You're not a bad whistler!
That's the theme of Arthur in mvc3
What's this blueberry and raspberry business?
but after I stated in my 2nd reponse that it was completely serious (not all people mega man fans are aware of that site dude, lol), you still persisted in not answering my question, prompting me to post it again. but don't worry about it. Roahm answered it for me. >_>
A gorgon and a vampire? OMG :)
Blueberry never gets any respect. It's always Blue Raspberry. >:(
how many blue humanoid robots? Uh...theres ice man?
One person didn't like being mooned.
Now i know how to get past the pumkin
To be honest, I wouldn't enjoy it. I dislike the X series, and hope there's never an official "transition" game that ends the Classic series. On a more "official" note though, Capcom has claimed that the "Zero kills everyone" theory is not correct.
You used blueberry on freezeman's stage o.o
How about Frankenstein man
@cooljobsrule lol, what the hell? Why would I ask you if I wasn't serious??
Yeah, luckily Shade Man was pretty easy X)
@KurtKokaine1 Are you serious?
I meant I've yet to see one
4:24 I see what you did there😉...
You should have fought Wily Vampire as the final boss in this game instead of.....what you actually fight. :P
@RoahmMythril You aren't
Bass himself, who else?
I did?
is it just me or does Shade Man look a little like Waluigi?
you already used blueberry D:
Impossible challenge anyone? Here it is. Perfect run no damage of ninja gaiden. Iveyer
Is that an Irish accent? If so or not either way it's fucking badass! I have no idea why english accents are so awesome compared to my shitty American Midwestern accent :/
