As a guy I have been watching you for years, the only regret I have is not finding out about you sooner. Would have helped my skin a lot back then
Aww thank you so much for watching! Better late than never!! Keep it up! 😄
What do you use
Love the wwe edit lol 😂
I’m a guy and a skincare junkie. I’m just obsessed and use many different types and ranges lol I guess I’m vain. I don’t use skincare that are specifically labeled as for men and gotten amazing results. Having skincare routine makes a significant difference tbh xD
Yes yes I'm totally here for this! 🤩 From personal experience, just try not to change products too often or your skin might have a bigger reaction to the new products 😅 And yeah I don't use the ones specifically labeled for men because all skincare is made for everyone. Shop by skin concern instead!
It is infact German but a lot of CeraVe bottles in Europe have a German headline and other languages in a smaller font below the headline (so multiple languages on one bottle)
Oh yeah that makes sense, I remember dealing with that in Europe with my brand!
YES WE LOVE HYGENIC MEN. ❤ i hate when ppl judge men for skin care and saying its too “girly” or whatever. like if u wanna get pimples u keep thinking that way
lol ikr? my dad be out here doing skincare since he came out of the womb, yet he's working in the construction industry🤣It paid off 'cause ngl he looks younger than all his other friends his age 😂
I started my skincare routine thanks to your videos, and I have a friend who works at Paula’s Choice, so I can get their products for free or at a discount. Not bad, right! Thanks for the help ☺️
Omg that's great news, I'm so glad you've started your own routine! And woww what a deal with your friend, keep up the good work! 😄
Im living proof that men can have good skincare as ive got girls asking me what i do my skin after my ex gf taught me about skincare 😤💪
That's awesome, keep up the good work!! 🙌
The “ yes, I am unfortunately a man” had me dead 🤣
😂😂
Almost like he’s ashamed about it being a man. Funny how he objectifies the first guys body as if it’s ok when it’s sexist yet lectures people for saying “well, well, well” coz apparently somehow that is racist 🤷🏾♂️
@@TayWoodethat was not objectification you don't know what that word means but nice rant
@@pinkiepiereincarnate2291 exactly the kind of reply I’d expect from a young naive gullible girl that follows this channel who no doubt also calls everybody racist if she doesn’t agree with them. And yes he did objectify the first guy but I imagine your logic thinks only straight guys can objectify women 🤦🏾
My mid-forties husband watched your channel with me. He started out using my Cerave face wash and now he’s got his own bottle. I’ve even got him using retinol religiously.
The first one could also be Swiss or Austrian. As a Swiss person I feel obligated to add the Swiss dialect version of the lotion:
füächtigkeitsspändändi Reinigungscrème
You're welcome.
My skincare routine used to be JUST a cleanser. My skin ended up oily, now I've moved on and I'm pretty much glowing. Only bad thing is that the cheapest routine I could make for me was 60 bucks...
Love that your skin is glowing! 😍 I’m sorry it’s costing you that much, I hope you are able to find small ways to save here and there or find more affordable products that are just as good for your skin!!
Men 5 years ago "what's skincare? Whats a moisturizer?" 🤣 got to let them the time to learn and not too fast because just a washcloth and a bar soap always been the main and only skincare 😊 even some men only use the two in one shampoo/body wash. So don't expect much in 2023.
Yes, patience is key here, but I believe they're on their way! 🤩
For people with sensitive skin... Safety Razors!! they're not only better for the environment but cost less over time when compared to disposable razors. Nivea makes a good sensitive shaving cream (Nivea Men Sensitive) that's pretty much available everywhere, that's what most people recommend
My friends with perfectly-perfect skin: I use nothing!
Me:you have to use something 🙄😂
AVEENO shave gel is great!!!!! The oat one smells so good…. love my AVEENO daily moisturizing body soap and lotion 🤍🤍🤍
I haven't tried their shave gel, but they are an amazing brand for sensitive skin because oatmeal being their main ingredient
Despite the funny stereotype about men not knowing much about skincare, I actually learned all my skincare habits from my dad. My mom, having been blessed with perfect genetics, never felt the need to do any proper skincare. All she does is wash her face (she doesn't even apply sunscreen), yet she's here looking 40 while nearing her 60s. Meanwhile, my dad and I have such great skincare routines, and still struggle with acne... life is so unfair 😭
I'm sorry you are struggling with acne, but that's great you're working on taking care of your skin! I would say your mom should be doing a skincare routine as well, even if her skin is great right now! Are you using a product with salicylic acid in it? That's a solid ingredient for targeting acne 😄 Here's a couple I really like, and the second one is from my brand 😊

Thanks for the support @@Hyram! My skin has definitely gotten better ever since I started watching you 3 years ago, it was a reaction to Eric Nam's skincare routine I think 🤣I'm definitely using an exfoliant (as expected of someone who watches you haha) so at this point it's just a few stray spots here and there, probably from hormones lol. I'm very happy with my skin right now and I couldn't have gotten here without learning from you and many others 🙏 It's always a joy to see you share your knowledge, and I know so many others have benefited from you as well. So thanks for always being so genuine and real 💕
(haha and yes, I've been pestering my mom about getting on a routine, hope she caves soon 🤣🤞)
As a guy I really love watching your videos, I’ve been learning so much from just watching your videos so thank you 🫶
That's amazing, thank you for sharing that, I'm glad you're here! 😊
Can I say, I first used the tretinoin cream from Curology and it worked but was so drying! I switched to Nava MD tretinoin with niacinamide and it's petroleum based! It's out freaking standing in prevention of flaking!!
That's amazing! I'm so glad that's working for you! 😍
My dad loves your channel, because it’s the most factual channel when it comes to skin care. Thank you 😊
LOVE YOU SO MUCH HYRAM! you’ve taught me how to love my skin while perfecting my routine! ❤❤❤ love from Canada! 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Omg thank you so much for the love, ily2!! 🫶 I'm so happy you're happy with your skin and are enjoying the skincare journey! 🥹
The first guy has all the products I use. 😅 Really love the Nivea sunscreen but now I use the cera ve moisturizer with SPF on cloudy days.
the duolingo picture😭😭
Even as a woman I completely agree: gel or cream is 1000% better than the foam for shaving. Weird brag, but my underarms look like they belong to someone 10yrs younger: I only shave if I have gel shaving cream and I *never* shave stubble! (Bikini included! 😨) Scrubbing the area before-hand (with a loofa if possible) is a necessity, no matter where...
Why not stubble? I'm genuinely curious?
@@sarahfranco6802 I feel like the skin is too delicate and I'm more prone to razor burn if the hair is too short.
@@libbybeliveau7506 oh got it. So you let the hair be a little bit longer before shaving it, correct?
@@sarahfranco6802 yeah, I prefer at least two days of healing and growth, and then I shave on the third day. I'm extremely fortunate to have fine, light hair, that grows at a reasonable pace. I just think it's important to let the micro cuts from the razor heal at least 48hrs and to let the tiny bumps from the hair sprouting to subside.
oooh got it@@libbybeliveau7506
Can confirm: German followed by French. Also, interesting approach for the BHA in the morning. I'd be terrified.
I love your skincare routine reaction videos!
Aww thank you, I'm so glad you enjoy them!
Opening this video at night and suddenly hyram speaking to me in my mothertongue GOT ME SCARED A LITTLE
Hahaha sorry for the jump scare! 😂 I hope you made it through the rest of the video!
Yes that was in German cool how you tried to pronounce it correctly😂
That "AHHH" at 1:38 🤣
Im so glad your ok! Ty to another great video!
Thanks and you're welcome! Glad you enjoyed it! 😊
I’m a man and I got educated a lot about skincare and after a long time suffering with buttons, acnes and oily skin now I’m comfortable to say that my skin has improved a lot , my skincare routine now is 1- cleanser 2-scrub twice a week 3- hyaluronic acid serum 3-vitamin c serum 4- salicylic acide with AHA/PHA on the marks 5- niacinamide serum 6- moisturizer 7- eye cream THAT’S IT
And obviously if I’m in the mood i used to use one sheet masks for the face , the eyes and the lips ✨
And i make sure that I’m doing a massage to my face with some tools while applying the serums.
Ps: I’m definitely using sunscreen every single day with spf 50 .
It’s just so refreshing ❤
You helped me a lot btw 🤍
There are sooo many guys who still use 2 in 1 shampoo/body wash/face wash/hand cream/motor oil.
It's nutzzz lol
Thankfully men are learning which is great. Skincare is not just a women thing, it is an all gender thing.
@@specialtwice4975 tell them 🤍✨✨
That's amazing! I'm so glad to hear you've got your own set routine, especially with the sunscreen, keep up the good work! 😄
@@Hyram you just made my day thank you 💕
Just found ya, im just starting my skin care routine, its a little odd to me since i was raised thinking that was a womans thing
Oh welcome! Congrats on starting your skin care routine! 🙌 it honestly doesn't make sense why the media made it such a women's thing, it's really a health thing for everyone!
Thanks 🙏 for the advice about the retinol and serums for vitamin c serums Hyram 😊
You are right, you need to react to more male skincare routines! Loved this!
Lmao "skincare with a 'Y'" 😂
I looked up the scar cream/spf and it by derma E, it’s a cream that’s supposed to reduce the appearance of scars that ahs broad spectrum spf
Oh interesting, thanks for looking that up and sharing it with us!
this man is the reason my face hasnt fallen off
Wow what an honor it is to have served your face! 😄 but you're the one doing all the work on it, keep it up! 🙌
Hyram being gone for 2 weeks got me nervous 😅 glad to have u back with another banger vid!!
Aww thanks for the concern! 🥹 I'm sorry I wasn't able to post last week 🥺 I'm glad you enjoyed this one! 💙
I feel like in most cases men only really need to take care of excess sebum production and hydration, and they're good for the most part. My son of 🐶 father got semi regular extractions and used hydrating gel masks due to my mom's insistence, and he was good for city life and often got compliments for this complexion. Now after divorce with no one to tell him what to do? His face is full blackheads and oil plugs and his face is tanned af.
Men’s skins care routines scare me
Show him some of these! They aren't perfect, but on a much better track than your friend! I've been where he is, he just needs some guidance 😄
They usually do, which is why I'm so surprised at these routines! 😅
More like skin “scare” 😂
Why lmao
As a guy who used to use 4 in 1 and isopropyl alcohol for my face I don't blame you lmao
I hope you do an ITK brand review, especially since you had such an extreme reaction to something you were thinking would be good. Would love to know your thoughts on the whole brand. 💖💖💖💖
I have a QUESTION. Could you possibly make a video for the oily skinned teens with acne or a little acne? Love this video btw. 😁
1.) cera ve SA cleanser
2.)moisturizer (cera ve, cetaphil, la Roche posay, etc)
3.) sunscreen
@@specialtwice4975CeraVe sa is NOT for oily skin. It's for rough, bumpy skin
A fellow german here, yeah the first cerave product was in german and your pronunciation was actually really good
i made my brother to have a skincare routine from longest time, now that does have and see his skin improves, now he talks all about skincare products. :) he got his own tray products.
Aww what a great sister! 🥰
I started skincare after watching your videos and man do i LOVE it!!!!!!!! Love from India ❤❤❤
Heyyy love your videos ❤❤
Also can i just say your hair looks awesomeee
Aww thank you so much for watching! And thanks I just got it done! 🥰
One of used the Derma E scar cream with SPF! I used to use it 😊
You should do skincare at tjmax or Marshall’s
Hey Hyram do you have any advice on how to get rid of acne because no matter how often I cleanse/ moisturise new pimples or blemishes keep appearing 😢 😭 thanks
“Yes, unfortunately I’m a man.” Killed me 😂
🤣🤣
@@Hyram omg hi!!😭
Yo Cerave was always the last product on my list because it is so expensive 😂 but after finally giving in its worth and I use that same cleaner
hii hyram i love your videos ,but i was just wondering if you could make a video about closed comedones
also what can i do for you to be able to react to my skincare routine??? thank you for your videos it has helped my skin SO MUCH
I love love love seeing you flirt with the men through a screen😍😍😂
Hahaha I'm glad you enjoy it 😂
U were right both of the bottles (the one from the first video and the one from the last) where from Germany (I am german, so yeah, it's right).
That also might be the reason why the paulas choice bottle is so small . I lived 2 years in the USA and know u guys always have big bottles of shampoo and cream, etc . In Germany, u often have smaller sizes, and then u can usually also choose between i .e .30 ml, 50ml, 80ml, or 100ml depends.
Also I'm very into Korean skincare and have to say that it's more a "western society" thing that men are not doing skincare or are afraid of it, while in Korea/the Asian culture almost every man does skincare and ita so normal, and not just seen as a female things, smae for wearing make up.
Oh wow thank you for sharing your international experience with skincare 😄 and I've seen the bigger presence of skincare and makeup amongst more people in Asian cultures, I love it!
The language is German xD and it means moisturizing cleaninglotion :)
Haha thank you! My team helped me find that out after I reacted to the videos! 😂
ngl every mornng and night i end up forcing my brothers in the bathroom and slapping skincare on them somehow, the little ones are doing it themselves now and i have never felt prouder lmao
Wohoo! Way to be a good big brother! If they haven't already, they'll thank you later for that! 🥹
thnx a lot, imma big sister tho and a lot of my skincare knowledge and experience has come from you, so I should be thanking u honestly@@Hyram
hyram i want your opinion is this a good skin care routine for a 12 year old : a cerave cleanser , the inky list hylaronic acid serum , the byoma brightening serum , byoma gel moisturiser and sunscreen !
Love your videos ❤
thank you so much!! 💙
Should sunscreen always be the last step?
Yes, last skincare step, only makeup comes after that (best to wait some 15-30min to let the sunscreen properly settle on the skin).
Yes sunscreen should always be the last step of the skincare routine 😊
@@Hyram thank you and thanks to everyone else 💞
My partner uses l’occitane products but I haven’t really seen many reviews on their products and when you google them, they seem like a great company. I could really use some recent reviews on their products to cheer or convince my partner to try other things. So, pretty pleeeeeaaaaseeee, can you do a review on their products???
I would guess that Hyram wouldn't like loccitane because of their use of fragrance and not the best skincare ingredients. Luxury or niche brands tend to have sketchy ingredients.
Can you make a video on hair care routine there are very few videos on hair care
Is the drunk elephant lala retro moisturizer and bronzing drops good??
I had a question that I was hoping the Hyram community could help me with!!! When I use spot treatments (for acne and hyperpigmentation) do I use it before or after a serum? I also sometimes use a BHA liquid and I wasn't sure whether that should be before spot treatments or after as well. I feel like I'm always scared of wiping away the spot treatments if I use a serum on top but if my skin is tacky/ wet from the serum then I also feel like it doesn't absorb and just sticks to my fingers when I tap it in.
I think it depends, if your spot treatment have salicylic acid, i don’t think it’s okay to use together with BHA. I usually use spot treatment in the last step, even after moisturizer. Of course assuming that your spot treatment is like a gel or paste like consistency.
I use my serums in order of thinnest to thickest. So the order may vary based on your treatment's consistency 😄
@@Hyram Okay, thank you so much! I'll try it out!!! :)
Sort of watching you when I was like 10 you’re the whole reason I have a skin care routine now and there’s a whole reason I spend like $200 at Sephora or Ulta but I’m grateful for that because without you who knows what I’d be now
Crying at the pronunciation of the German CeraVe
Retinal without spf? Not good if it’s during the day time! Great video! 😊
Ok you said this in the 11 min mark 😂 you know which guy I was talking about
please please try out alpyn beauty!! i use the juneberry cleanser and liquid exfoliant!
I would love to know your thoughts on the French brand Horace. It's a very popular brand marketing specifically to men
any recommendation to razor bumps from shaving my face? thinking of changing my cleanser and start using retinol
I made a video on this with some tips to help with razor burns and bumps and to help with breakouts! 😄 ua-cam.com/video/pdTpxE6CzgI/v-deo.html
Hey Hyram, I love your skincare and videos. Another content creator claims there is no actual Q10 in your peptide cream. Is this true? I love that product.
Cerave just fix everything without headache.🇩🇪
hey just wondering if u could advise me how to get rid of clogged pours?(just like little black grime in my pours)
THE FIGHTER!!!! THE TROOPER!!!! FOR MEN
Love this ❤
Lol this is great 😂😂😂❤❤❤
Yay I'm glad you liked it! 🤩
I have a video idea u can do a blindfolded skincare challange at target or Walmart Luv ur vids
Omg that could be fun and wild! 🤣
Hey do you have any facial mists you'd recommend from ulta?
I am so glad I found you
i have that same ceravee cleanser which i bought in switzerland and if not even google translate knows it its probably swiss german lmao
if you havent already you should do a vid or tiktok about good cruelty free products
Dude you should be extremely happy these guys are shirtless . They know you are reviewing their videos they do it for you .
hey hyram or anyone that can help but i have just bought a retonal serum and i use a hydrating serum which one do i do first or should i only use one? thank you xD
yes to men and skin care!
🙌🙌🙌
Can't blame you if you where mesmerized for a sec haha. Anyway continue.
Haha I appreciate the support boo 🤣
hyram speaking german made my heart go ratatatatta
Seems like European dudes are having a skin care Renaissance on TikTok. 😂
I love to see it! 🤩
how long is it recommended to keep on a moisturizer because i hear dif things like 10 min then wash off or just leave on all night so im confused pls help !
Hey so bit late, no expert here, but moisturizers you can keep on all day or all night. So wash your face in the morning put moisturizer on, and then at night you wash your face again and then wear moisturizer at night and wash your face again in the morning
A bit misleading to those who don't know, retinol is not and was never used for acne. Can't just equate retinol with retinoic acid.
Hi Hyram! I just wanted to ask... If you only have textured skin and occasional spots on one area of your face e.g. your forehead, is it best to use active ingrediants like salysilic acid only on that area or on the rest of your face too to prevent it happening there?
I would recommend a retinol product, like my brand Selfless by Hyram's Retinol & Rainbow Algae Serum. Retinol helps with hyperpigmentation and evening skin texture. If you've never used retinol before, start with once a week and work your way up to 2-3 times a week. You can just use it in specific areas or your whole face 😊 us.selflessbyhyram.com/products/retinol-rainbow-algae-repair-serum
wow i did not realized that guys skin care routine are more competitive than woman , more clean and straight forward and easy understanding ,
which in the woman's world can very complicated at times lol
"and even tho yes I am unfortunately a man" lmaoooo
love your reaction videos!
Hey Hyram! Just a reminder that it is totally normal and okay to struggle with insecurities and I, too struggle very badly with dysmorphia. I do urge you to think about how much these men having abs actually enhances their quality of life and overall happiness in life and difference they make in the world. You are ABSOLUTELY perfect just the way you are, even when it doesn’t feel like it. You are doing so much better in the world than having abs, you are teaching millions of people how to love themselves, encourage diversity equity and inclusion, and bring a huge smile to someone’s day. Thank you for being who you are. ❤🌎🧴
Thank you SO much 🥹 I needed to hear this 💙
Bro from Bangladesh 🇧🇩Hey can u suggests me boys oily skin brightening face wash & moisturiser? I will bring from America!
First guy did not put enough sunscreen on
I agree, but gotta applaud them for putting it on in the first place and hoping they add more eventually! 😄
Gillette-the best a man can get (was their slogan/song back in the day)
Is it normal for the ordinary AHA/BHA peeling solution to tingle a bit? It doesn’t burn or hurt or anything it just feels tingly and idk if that’s bad 😭
Haha thanks I'm so glad you like them! 😍
Wow 😮 cool 😎 sunscreen goes on your arms and legs too and body too men and I’m a women and I’m 35
I mean woman 👩 sorry 😢 *

It's so true tho, one day 🥲
Hi!

What can i do when sunscreen makes whit shirts yellow at the neck?
Apply your sunscreen first let it dry for 15 minutes then put on your shirt 😅
I would agree with ElectrarFresh67, I would do your routine shirt off, let it sit and then put your clothes on after 😊
Love shirtless skin care men haha
