Fern, my white Boxer dog, is an accredited service dog under the 1992 DD act. She holds special access rights to be allowed to enter places most dogs cannot. This includes National Parks such as Chiltern Mt Piolet NP where Reedy Creek is located. Unless your dog is an accredited service animal they are not allowed to enter NP.
Check your local regulations, as each state and territory is different, before you travel into or though NP with your dog. Here is the Parks Victoria website for those of you wishing to read up on Victoria's laws 👉 www.parks.vic.gov.au/things-t...
15:30 looks like an old Pacific glass works bottle mark very cool

My Granny used to have a round one with that star on the bottom, and it was only for her sugar cookies! She kept sprinkles inside, it had a cork stopper she cut from an old wine cork to fit and we pressed the cookies with the bottle so that they would have that nice pattern in them! Thanks for the happy memory! :)
I was having a bad night due to my mental health I was listening to some white noise to try and relax and get some sleep it wasn’t working so I reached for the phone and wasn’t expecting a live session from Chris what a great surprise I really enjoyed watching this it has cheered me up I now feel relaxed enough to try and get a couple of hours sleep 🛌
Good night!
Don't know your situation but I find ASMR videos or softly spoken stuff helps me relax enough to sleep when I'm over thinking things.
Gentle Whispering ASMR is my favorite.

Try brown noise. I've horrible dreams and and episodes in my life that have broken my mind and body. Its the brown noise that puts me to sleep. White noise makes me angry.
I feel your pain, Daniel. Just at least keep hanging on and pushing forward each day.
The payout is the pleasure, it's not making me rich, but it's keeping me fit.
Have you ever thought about saving the dirt/sand that comes off Fern when you bathe her after your gold adventures? I’d like to see that video! 👍🙂
I,for one, Am loving you getting back to the longer videos man. Thank you and everyone that helps along with these videos to make them what they are.
Glad you like them!
Anyone who criticizes your methods isn't a prospector. They are idiots on the internet who do nothing with their lives. Your awesome guy.
I love the little ball of gold. I'm sure you will you will up your standards on assaying soon. Simple suggestion. Try tilting the mould to encourage all the gold to sink into one corner when you pour it. Nice going with the melt, better than the last one where it was a big glob of slag and gold.
Another great video bud! Loved Ferns little face in her towel! I think that was a beautiful button of gold! Thanks Chris!
Little Acorns make big Oak Trees. Well done Chris.
What a gorgeous view at 9:57
Loved the entire production Chris. Great commentary, wonderful transitions and just damned full of info and fun. Looking forward to the summer dry wash episodes.
Hello! I'm watching from Rutherford county NC in the foothills of the Appalachian mountains in the good ole USA!
Chris....you get a "I respect you" pat on the back🤝.
26:22 "I have a ball of gold, how big is *YOUR* ball'o'gold?"
😄😁😆😅😂🤣
@Vo-Gus Prospecting Hey mate. Huge shout out for the motivation giving me the motivation to get off my arse for my own therapy. I posted my 1st video yesterday and gave you a shout out during the filming as a thank you, with more to come. Keep the videos coming and hopefully there's plenty of gold in those new areas you've found.
Being out in nature is the most valuable part finding gold is a bonus.Absolute love this channel it is so entertaining take care Chris Gadzee and Mick from Bonnie Scotland 🏴
Psst! You forgot Miss Fern!
When you're doing what you love.... who cares about what the clean up is.. Keep doing what you doing my brother!
I appreciate that
if you wanna, you can tilt the mould while you pour so it all hangs on in the corner
By far you are my favorite person to watch! Keep em coming!!
Feeling your excitement! And loving that you are proving what you say about finding gold is possible with minimal equipment and lots of persistence.
"I am wearing brand new socks" great way to start a new day !
Extraordinary friend, the struggle to find gold with extraordinary results, success is always greetings from your traditional gold miner friend ⚒️⛏️💎🇲🇨👍👍
Brand new socks always makes for an amazing day like none other
Nice Gold results for test pan's! Thank you for sharing your adventures Chris. Cheers
nice bit of work for the gold 👌 thank you for sharing the adventure 😀
Always good to see your videos. Thanks for taking us along!
I love your dog and your personality man
Water so dirty, you can't see what your sucking up. Crazy mate. Great video.
Your dry season is beginning on a high note...good on you.
Awesome thanks I was looking at one Gram . I'm getting better at guessing lmao. Can't wait for the next one, much appreciated 👍
Hehe, out here we keep any flakes we find. One speck is a keeper for sure. This video is loaded with tips. Awesome. Well below minimum wage, lol. Yeah but who else gets to go out into nature and make money doing it?
That Was Awesome , Ty for Sharing Chris 😎👍👍 . SKK .
Your content is getting better and better! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and adventures!
4:44 ~ Totally agree!
Great, you surprised me with the melting down to melt out all the impurities. You are gorgeous!
Thank you! 😊
Thanks for another awesome video! Catch you soon…👍👍
I really have to focus on those concentrators. Got skunked yesterday cause I focused on the stream gravels. Never checked the channels draining the old diggings.
I always enjoy watching your videos from Northern WISCONSIN in the USA thankyou for sharing your information and experiences and knowledge about finding and processing gold. Only wish i could get out on the creek and try outdoors. I only done paydirts in my kitchen but tried to apply some of the principles to extract the gold. 🤗🤗🤗🤗
Patience and perseverance plus some muscle power to determine where to blitz mate. Interesting Chris
really like your videos mate, content is great and editing is top notch.
Love the whole process thanks for sharing your videos are the best especially the longer ones
hell yeah , subbed , come summer come !!!
"How big is your ball of gold" I love it🤣🤣 Keep up the great work.
If you want to pull water out of the air get yourself a dehumidifier and run it at night, couple solar panels should be sufficient to run it, bigger the collection tank the more water you can collect.
What a great video!!! Love your channel!!
Great video broseph!
Thanks for your knowledge, tips and tricks on getting that fine elusive gold out of area's away from the creek. After that melt, you got your nugget. Cheers
Great job Chris
Can’t wait a whole minute!
Haha much love and respect from Colorado
Nice GOLD button.
Try next time you melt. Try to leave the form on its side, so that you pour the contents down a corner of the form.
Then I think you will get all the gold from the smelting into the gold button.
Have a grate day.. Take a cold one. Cheers
Yeah Chris, worth every second of the time you put in
Great video bro always enjoy them
Saturday viewing!! love it
Drift Mining? I live in Waihi- NZ's heart of gold. what we have around here are called drift mines- Adits punched in to the side of a hill and stoped out quartz reefs. Can you explain how the area you are in was 'drift mined' Chris?
A drift is, as you said, a horizontal shaft. The type of thing mined is irrelevant, quartz or alluvial.
Everything I'm walking on there is undermined horizontally, so they are drifts.
Very cool video to start the season!
Excellent vid, full life-cycle from test panning to smelting!
Great video, I liked the melting to the button.👍
Great times brother! Thanks for the tutorial 😀 🙂
Welp! When you get all the Gold, you can always start a Tin mine! Thanks for all of the great tips Chris! They are going to help when I go to Arizona!
Man I wish I could find anything even close to the gold your finding! 😎
I always enjoy your videos. Keep them coming.
Good work mate, must be a good feeling
Your content is top notch thankyou for sharing it with us. Congrats on The nice gold.
Awesome video here Chris. And very nice small ball of gold. Love the video and especially when you even melted the gold into the small ball. Although I think you just refined your gold in this video to be worth more than the $65 dollars. 😆 Melting and refining the gold is something to look into for you as well. You definitely got it down now in this video.
Whopp whoop! Ol squirrely is back lol. I broke my phone 2 months ago & my new one finally showed up yesterday. But yeah I know who cares 😆 🤣 😂 🤘🤙✌️
Nice video, and you clearly got better at the smelting than the last video, thanks for sharing, looking forward to the next one 😀!!!!
Thanks 👍
Love the show.. watch everyone of them.
Your a bloody tool mate👍 keep the vids coming. P.s. winter is over 🍻
Wisdom & knowledge are also "nuggets of gold". Thanks for sharing your extensive expertise with us because I'd never imagine that the ground you're on contained gold but I guess it's everywhere and we just need to know better where to look whichever country we are in.
Luv the SD dig haha 🤣
My favorite videos after a stressful day 🙂
From the Australian accent, fun edit scenes, education, and Fern.
Glad you enjoyed it!
subbed just for "the gold gods saw it fit to give you a flake"
It is always nice to see realistic gold panning. There is a ton of work panning gold and rarely potatoe size nuggets LOL. I love what you do keep up the good work
So true!
Enjoy your videos a lot. You have almost inspired me to start prospecting. From the Carolinas in US.
Im from Canada but my gf lives in SC, I plan to do some prospecting whenever I'm down there !
Awesome channel 👍
Gotta love brand new socks
Like the best feeling ever
You've probably seen it all before but I just use the shovel to dig the hole deeper so I can pan in shallow water
cool video dude, nice finds
Thanks 👍
You've got to love new socks.
Pretty good effort for just test panning 👍🤓✌️
Prolly makes a lot more money bringing a truck and filling it up with those nice smooth stones. Cost a fortune in the UK.
It's awesome to see you getting into smelting now mate.
Nice reminds me when I started smelting. I’m still an amateur at smelting and a compete amateur at gold mining
another good reason to test again is because it could be a contaminated sample, as has happened to many of us in the past ;)
I didn't know that the big black sands were tin but it makes sense because there's Tim mines nearby.💚💛❤️ I find huge bit's
On making A living prospecting/mining in Aus I would say a solid NO: Minimum wage is $812.60 a week or just under 1/3 an ounce a week (at spot price at the time of writing, and its rare to find someone who will buy your finds at spot) then of course you need to remove overheads like fuel, breakage, tooling etc. from that. I think we would all be pretty stoked to find a consistent 1/3 ounce (~10 grams) a week for 10 or even 20 weeks out of a 52 week year.
Looks great
Thanks!
❤️ your channel brother
Ya wearing new socks now just gotta order your 2 Mongolian hot pots and you made it.
and thats a really good take for test panning.....basically free money but even free...er than usual panning
Subscribed because of this
Hey Chris. When you bring a motor in for a hike. Do you put it on your back? Could you suggest a pack to strap a small pump motor to.
153 Ounces FOR SURE have fun and good luck .
its quiet good to see that even at your miller table a lot of extreme fine nearly golddust particles are floating down the table,,,,do you collect that for smelting one day`?
How big is my gold ball? Weeeeeennnntsy......! I guessed 0.75 for yours so not too far off.
So sweet ⛏️⛏️
Goodness gracious great balls of gold
I tend to manage a fair take on my weekly panning trips, places I have worked for awhile and set up to concentrate gold. But, I have never found a place that buys dust or fine gold for very much at all...maybe 60% market at best.
Next time try a cut spud, or carrot. Just cut a little bit out with a teaspoon
For some reason I get this feeling that you're gonna be one of those guys that finds a huge record breaking nugget. Maybe not "The Hand of Faith" size nugget but something big!! And you'll find it the same way those other people found their giant nuggets... It'll be close to the surface and it'll be in a spot that you weren't even gonna check but did on your way out when you were done for the day ...... I hope this comes true for you!
I hope so
I would struggle to not go back and speed pan a ton of that out of shear curiosity.
