I love how V-matting has come full circle. I bought V-matting to go under my blue rubber miners moss to use with traditional riffle system (like any Keene sluice box comes with). That was about 8-10 years ago. Since then everyone moved to dream mat, VDR and anything but V-matting. I love it. Just goes to show, what's old is new again and it doesn't matter what you use, you'll catch gold. Use what makes you happy.

V matting catches a ton of flour gold when the material is classified to 20 mesh (window screen) or smaller with moderate to light water flow, angle and feed rate. Works well in a cleanup sluice.

I really love the longer format videos - they fit really well with your commentary and you honestly can give a good idea of how much effort goes into it without adding in all the boring parts. Keep it up!

That is a golden wombat hole!!!
PS. Consider bringing with you three or four astroturf sheets/strips. That way you can roll up the one that is full of material (to clean up later, at home) and then immediately replace it with the next astroturf piece. Repeat
