Rose I love this tip and love that you shared it. I might be having dejavu but I think you did this in another video. The reason I remember it is because it was mind blowing to me the first time lol ! I have never been able to cook a perfect sunny side up egg ! Thanks again :)

Well, Rose, I thought I already knew how to cook the perfect sunny side up egg. I was wrong! For me once that egg gets into the hot pan, I add a splash of water and close it up with a lid. I get a similar result but! I much prefer your idea of cooking the top with the hot oil. Or, in our case, bacon fat. Oh my, how great would that be?! A million thanks for this great tip!

These are basted eggs (not Sunny Side Up) - but nicely done!
