Love this ! Need this ! I never freeze veggies because usually once they go in they don't come out lol...because I never store things good in the freezer! Thanks for sharing :)
Ha Ha I know the feeling I have 3 freezers and think I wonder where I put that mmmmmh !!!! loved your comment :)
if you have them cut the way you will eat them it helps. also laying them on a tray to let them freeze separately so you can pour out the amount you want at a time. then you put them in a freezer bag.
I must try this tip Rose. I find that when I cut up my beans and put them in the freezer before cooking they are rubbery when I do cook them. Thanks for sharing.😊💖👍
Thanks Martina sorry for the late reply my freind :)

SO interesting! I have never pre blanched mine. I always froze them from raw. Do you think I am losing the nutrients that way?
Hi Goran I am glad you liked that quick tip, you can freeze them straight away and I have done that when in a hurry. Both methods work but I find that the blanching ones before freezing keeps the crunchy texture and also the colour is better. With the nutrients the fat soluble ones will not be affected but some of the water soluble ones may be. plunging into cold water after 2 mins in the hot water will halt some of this process. Both methods work but I do like a crunchy green bean lol..... :)
