Love that last shot of the film with Jim's silhouette leaning against the patrol car smoking a cigarette and this score starts playing as the credits scroll. Always leaves you with that lonely empty feeling...
@@abdulhouser He has that look as if he had finally lost himself after everything John put him through, plus losing Nash who was really the only friend/support he had.
@@tyreezy87 no the music is sad because he's not a kid anymore - era of innocence over, lost friends, etc, etc, etc. music makes you feel isolated from the rest of the world. but that's adulthood - world is an uglier place and you lose contact with old school friends.
For me, the final scene, the 'horror' over, C Thomas Howell, cigarette in hand, and this cut were the icing on the cake which brought the entire movie together. Mark Isham...kudos.
I’m glad I wasn’t the only one to notice it! It’s the scene where hopper and the Russian guy (can’t remember his name) we’re having a conversation in their jail cell.
Came here looking for this comment, recognised it instantly and it gave me chills! I loved this movie as a teen and still do… I love UA-cam for this, finding all the other geeks haha
I was watching the episode and got a text so looked away for 5 seconds but heard this tune and instantly knew what it was. Love that it's getting used still to this day
